Then, he put the storage ring around his neck and left the room excitedly. But when he stepped out of the yard, he saw several familiar figures waiting in front of him for a long time.
Chu Qian, Bai Ziyun and Leng Qingqiu blocked the door, all looking at Xiao Ning. Chu Qian raised her lips slightly, revealing a half-smile, with a sly look in her eyes, and she said softly:
"Ning'er, you are dressed so beautifully, where are you going?"
Xiao Ning's body trembled involuntarily. He touched the tip of his nose nervously, trying to hide his inner panic. He tried to make his voice sound calm, but he could not hide his guilty conscience:
"Mother, I just want to go play with Honghong, is that not allowed?"
Chu Qian's smile became wider, and her eyes flashed with an unfathomable light. There was a hint of ridicule in her voice:
"Of course, let's go together."
When Xiao Ning heard this, his face turned pale. He waved his hands and stammered:
"Uh, uh, I suddenly remembered that I haven't fed Erning yet... I'd better feed Erning first!" After saying that, he turned around quickly, spread his short legs, and ran into the house.
However, how could his speed compare to Chu Qian's? Chu Qian's figure flashed, and she appeared in front of Xiao Ning like a ghost, and grabbed his body. Her eyes were full of reproach, and she said coquettishly:
"You little bastard! Are you lying so much now? Feed Erning? Erning was never brought to Yao Chi. He has been fostered by Youniang. How dare you say you are going to feed him!"
Chu Qian's hands were like iron pliers, tightly grasping Xiao Ning's tender face, pinching it mercilessly. Xiao Ning's cheeks instantly turned red from being pinched, and tears welled up in his eyes from the pain, as if they were about to fall at any time. His lips trembled slightly, and a sobbing voice squeezed out of his throat: "I was wrong! I was wrong! Mother, please don't pinch me!" The voice was full of fear and pleading, which made people feel pity.
Time passed by, and Chu Qian's hand finally loosened. Her eyes were still full of anger, staring straight at Xiao Ning, asking: "Ning'er, where are you going?"
Xiao Ning rubbed his face which was pinched so hard that it hurt. After a long while, he replied very reluctantly:
"I'm going to the capital to look for Sister Qin Yin and Sister Song Yu."
