Chapter 448 Song Junwan

On a sunny morning, the sun shines on the Xiao Mansion in Yongning City, covering this quaint mansion with a layer of golden light. Xiao Ning, wearing loose pajamas, walked out of the door sleepily. He stood at the door, facing the morning sun, stretched his waist, and then took a deep breath, feeling the fresh air.

Xiao Ning walked to the center of the yard and slowly began to stretch. He moved all the joints of his body, gradually waking himself up from the laziness of sleep. After a while, his movements became more and more brisk.

After exercising, Xiao Ning walked out of the house quickly without any hesitation, as if something important was waiting for him.

He came to the kitchen and saw Xiao Ding sitting at the table, holding a thick novel in his hands, reading it with relish. Xiyue and Song Junwan were busy inside, preparing breakfast for the family.

"Dad, good morning!" Xiao Ning shouted excitedly.

Xiao Ding heard the voice, raised his head, smiled and responded: "Morning, son."

Xiao Ning walked into the kitchen and went straight behind Song Junwan. He hugged her waist as usual, rested his head on her soft shoulder, and called out affectionately:

"Mrs. Song, you see I got up early today!"

Song Junwan was a little surprised when she suddenly felt Xiao Ning's hug, but she was soon infected by his intimacy and a doting smile appeared on her face.

"You performed well. Why did you get up without being called today?" Song Junwan asked with a smile.

"Don't you just want Song Niang's hot meal?" Xiao Ning replied mischievously, "What are you eating today?"

Before he could finish his words, Xiyue appeared and quickly stuffed a freshly-cooked, still steaming dough stick into his mouth.

"Wow! It's so hot, huhuhu! Sister Yue!"

Xiao Ning jumped up because of the burn, and let out a shrill scream, waving his hands around his mouth, trying to make the burning feeling go away quickly.

Xiyue couldn't help laughing when she saw Xiao Ning dancing with joy because of the burnt dough sticks. She covered her mouth with her hands to avoid laughing too loudly, but the laughter still came out as clear as a silver bell.

"You guy, didn't you ask what to eat? Fried dough sticks." Xiyue teased with a smile, a hint of cunning in her eyes.

Xiao Ning finally spat out the dough sticks and put them aside. Then, like an angry calf, he rushed towards Xiyue fiercely, shouting:

"Sister Yue! I won't teach you a lesson!"

"Hey! Stop running around in the kitchen!"

Seeing this, Song Junwan frowned and yelled in displeasure. Her voice echoed in the kitchen, as if carrying an irresistible majesty.

Hearing Song Junwan's roar, Xiao Ning and Xiyue both stopped moving instantly as if they were cast under a spell. Xiao Ning scratched his head awkwardly, then looked at Song Junwan, only to see that her face was a little gloomy, and she was obviously really angry.

Seeing this, Xiao Ning immediately put away his mischievous look and showed a flattering silly smile. He quickly picked up the toilet paper, wiped his hands, and then walked quickly to Song Junwan like a pug, kissed her cheek fiercely, then hugged her small waist and said softly:

"Oh, Song Niang, Ning'er was wrong! Don't be angry!"

Song Junwan looked at Xiao Ning, who was smiling flatteringly, and felt helpless. She frowned slightly, curled her lips slightly, and revealed a look of dissatisfaction.

Song Junwan slowly stretched out two slender fingers like green onions and gently pinched Xiao Ning's nose. Her movements were gentle but with a hint of blame.

"Don't be so attentive here, you little brat. The kitchen is not a place for you to play and frolic!" Song Junwan's voice was clear and pleasant, but it revealed an unquestionable majesty.

Xiao Ning was pinched on the nose, and although he felt a little uncomfortable, he did not resist. Instead, he nodded repeatedly like a chicken pecking at rice, indicating that he knew he was wrong. Then, he quickly turned Song Junwan over, hugged her tightly, and then pushed her out the door to eat.

After breakfast, Chu Qian and Xiyue left Xiao's house together. According to them, they were going to practice some kind of magic. Xiao Ding chose to stay indoors and sit alone in the study, continuing to immerse himself in the novel in his hands.

Seeing everyone at home busy with their own things, Xiao Ning suddenly felt a little bored. He was about to get up and leave, planning to find something to kill time, but at this moment, Song Junwan appeared beside him like a ghost.

Song Junwan smiled, gently put her arm around Xiao Ning, and said softly:

"Ning'er, you don't have anything special to do today, right? Why don't you accompany me for a walk and buy something?"

Upon hearing this, Xiao Ning immediately straightened up, put on a very serious look, and answered solemnly:

"Yes, my dear Song Niang! How dare I disobey your orders?"

After saying that, he took Song Junwan with him without hesitation and left the Xiao Mansion and walked towards the bustling street.

When we arrived at the street, the morning market had not yet completely ended, and there were still many vendors shouting and selling their own goods.

Xiao Ning and Song Junwan walked hand in hand on the street. Not long after, they bought a bunch of daily necessities. Xiao Ning was carrying a lot of things. Just now, they were walking side by side, but now Xiao Ning was following behind Song Junwan.

Every time he went out to buy something, Xiao Ning was the human-shaped car, with everything hanging on him. However, Xiao Ning did not show any dissatisfaction, but enjoyed it.

Time passed in a flash, and it seemed as if they had finished their shopping trip in the blink of an eye and returned home. Xiao Ning was hung with all kinds of items, looking like a mobile shelf. Seeing this, Song Junwan hurried forward to help him unload the burden on his body.
