Liu Anran smiled at Yunlong, gently placed him in the crib, looked at him tenderly, and said with a smile, "Don't overthink it, your grandma doesn't dislike us."
Yun Cai didn't believe Liu Anran's words; he just felt that his grandmother disliked his mother for not having parents.
Looking at Yunlong's expression, Liu Anran felt helpless. She gently poked Yunlong's head with her finger and said frankly, "Yunlong, we've already left the Chu family. Whether your grandma likes me or not is irrelevant to us. Go play with Heipi!"
Upon hearing Liu Anran's words, Yunlong suddenly realized, "That's right! They're not in the Chu family anymore, so whether Grandma likes them or not is no longer important."
Having figured this out, Yunlong happily ran off to play with Heipi.
Liu Anran watched Heipi and Yunlong running and playing, occasionally letting out cheerful laughter, a slight smile playing on her lips.
After changing the triplets' diapers and feeding them, Liu Anran continued her work.
After taking a shower, Chu Yunxiao looked at Liu Anran bustling around and said with heartache, "Anran, it's too hard for you to take care of the child alone. You should come home with me."
Liu Anran placed the stir-fried dishes on the table and said expressionlessly, "I'm not going back. I like this carefree life."
Chu Yunxiao said, "An Ran, I just don't want you to work so hard."
“I’m enjoying it and I don’t feel tired at all. If you don’t like it, you can leave now,” Liu Anran said.
Chu Yunxiao felt a little down when he saw that Liu Anran was determined not to go home with him.
Liu Anran finished preparing the meal and called out to Yunlong, "Yunlong, dinner's ready."
"Coming!" Yunlong called out, skipping and hopping with Hei Pi to the dining table.
Looking at the stir-fried pine mushrooms, braised pork with bamboo shoots, stir-fried lean pork with green beans, corn and pork rib soup, and stir-fried bamboo shoots with pickled cabbage on the table, Yunlong exclaimed, "Wow! The lunch today is so plentiful!"
Chu Yunxiao looked at the dishes on the table, a slight smile playing on his lips. These were all dishes he liked to eat.
Blackie looked at the dishes on the table, his mouth watering.
Liu Anran looked at Yunlong and smiled, "Go wash your hands and eat." Yunlong obediently went to wash his hands.
Blackie carried its dog bowl to Liu Anran's feet and barked twice at her ingratiatingly.
Liu Anran couldn't help but chuckle at Hei Pi's impatient expression.
"Blackie, did Chu Yunxiao starve you?"
Blackie rubbed its head against Liu Anran with a wronged expression. It ate bread and biscuits every day, but it was still not full.
Looking at Hei Pi's pitiful appearance, Liu Anran turned to Chu Yunxiao and asked, "What have you been eating all the way?"
Looking at Blackie's pitiful appearance, as if he had abused it, Chu Yunxiao glared at Blackie and said, "Two pieces of bread or two cornbreads per meal. I'm not abusing Blackie. I give it what I eat."
Seeing that Chu Yunxiao's complexion was not good, Liu Anran knew that he hadn't been eating or resting well lately, so she said to Chu Yunxiao, "You must be hungry, let's eat!"
Chu Yunxiao was indeed hungry, so he picked up a bowl, filled it with rice, and began to eat heartily.
Liu Anran felt a pang of sympathy seeing Chu Yunxiao wolfing down his food.
Seeing that Chu Yunxiao had already eaten, but Liu Anran hadn't fed it yet, Blackie became anxious and started pawing at Liu Anran's feet.
Liu Anran filled two bowls of rice for Heipi, added a few pieces of meat with bones, and then put a piece of each dish into the dog bowl. Finally, she poured a little soup into the dog bowl.
Chu Yunxiao looked at Hei Pi's meals. Except for not being allowed to sit at the table, he ate the same food as them. No wonder he complained that he didn't eat well with him.
Blackie's tail was wagging rapidly; this is the life a dog should live!
It barked at Chu Yunxiao, then pushed the dog bowl with its paw before burying its head in its food.
Chu Yunxiao looked at Hei Pi with a bewildered expression. What did Hei Pi mean by this?
Yunlong and Liu Anran couldn't help but laugh at the scene before them.
Chu Yunxiao looked at Yunlong and Liu Anran, puzzled, "You can understand what Heipi is trying to say."
Yunlong suppressed a laugh and said, "Blackie is telling you that this is the life a dog should live."
Chu Yunxiao kicked Blackie, this damn dog really didn't want to live a hard life with him.
It's hard enough to get enough to eat these days, yet people want to eat meat every meal. They're dreaming! They might as well just fly to the moon.
Blackie looked up at Chu Yunxiao, baring its teeth to express its dissatisfaction. It carried its dog bowl a few steps away from Chu Yunxiao, its eyes filled with displeasure, giving off a "Don't touch me, don't bother me while I'm eating" look.
Liu Anran and Yunlong looked at each other, then burst into laughter.
"Chu Yunxiao, you've been rejected by Hei Pi," Liu Anran said with a smile.
Chu Yunxiao could easily see that Hei Pi was being so obvious. His lips twitched slightly, and he said speechlessly, "Hei Pi is practically a demon."
Liu Anran glanced meaningfully at Yunlong. Yunlong often secretly fed Heipi spiritual spring water and even fed him crystal cores. Fortunately, she saw it and stopped him in time, otherwise it would have been troublesome if Heipi had any problems.
"Don't give Blackie random food next time."
Seeing the warning in Liu Anran's eyes, Yunlong smiled awkwardly and nodded, saying, "Understood."
The family of three sat around the table eating. Yunlong, while eating bamboo shoots, said with a smile, "Mom, bamboo shoots with pork are so delicious!"
Liu Anran placed a boneless piece of braised pork on Yunlong's plate, saying, "Eat more if you like it."
"It's a pity we can't eat this often," Yunlong said regretfully.
Chu Yunxiao glanced at Heipi, who was eating, and a smile appeared on his lips. He suggested, "Even dogs can hunt, and Heipi is so smart. You can let Heipi go hunting, and you can eat whatever you want in the future."
Liu Anran rolled her eyes at Chu Yunxiao, annoyed. Why was this guy so petty, arguing with a dog?
