Seeing Jiang Cheng's stubbornness, Wu Bo reluctantly opened the car door, stepped out, and stepped on something soft as soon as his foot touched the ground, making a squeaking sound. Before he could react, something crawled up his leg.

Wu Bo replied in a panic, "Brother Jiang, there are rats! I've been bitten by a rat!" As he spoke, Wu Bo reached out to pull the rat off his leg.
The mutated rat saw Wu Bo's hand and bit it. The warm blood entered its mouth, filling its eyes with excitement, and it wouldn't let go of his hand.
Wu Bo swung his hands up and down, trying to shake off the mutated rat, but the mutated rat held on tightly. He gritted his teeth, grabbed the mutated rat, pulled hard, and quickly threw it to the ground.
The pain from the back of his hand told Wu Bo that a piece of flesh had been bitten off by a mutated rat. Warm blood flowed from the wound and dripped onto the ground, the smell of blood spreading everywhere.
Wu Bo's face turned pale with pain. He heard squeaking sounds coming from not far away. The sounds seemed to be quite numerous, and they were getting closer. His expression changed drastically. Oh no! Rats were approaching him, and there seemed to be quite a few of them!
He can't even handle a few mice, let alone dozens or even hundreds, wouldn't that kill him?
Wu Bo didn't care whether there were rats on him or not. He endured the pain, opened the car door, got in, and quickly closed the door again.
Jiang Cheng saw several rats hanging on Wu Bo's legs, gnawing on his flesh. His expression changed drastically, and he immediately jumped from the front seat to the back seat, reaching out to pull the rats off Wu Bo's legs.
Jiang Cheng ripped the rat off Wu Bo's leg, along with a piece of flesh. Blood gushed from the wound, and Wu Bo cried out in pain, "It hurts so much!"
"Wu Bo, bear with it." Jiang Cheng said as he picked up the rat and smashed it against the chair several times before throwing it away. He then immediately removed the rat from Wu Bo's leg. Wu Bo cried out in pain, tears and snot streaming down her face.
The mouse seemed to sense danger and reluctantly fled from his body, scurrying about in the car.
Jiang Cheng ignored the rats and looked at the wounds on Wu Bo's legs and hands. His expression turned serious. There was no medicine, not even gauze. He had no way to bandage Wu Bo's wounds.
Wu Bo was pale, with a fine layer of cold sweat on his forehead. He looked at Jiang Cheng and asked, "Brother Jiang, am I going to die?"
"No, you were just bitten by a rat, it's not like you were seriously injured," Jiang Cheng comforted him softly.
Looking at Wu Bo's wound, Jiang Cheng had no choice but to take off his shirt, tear it into strips, and use it to bandage Wu Bo's wound.
"Wu Bo, there's no medicine right now. I'll bandage your wound with a strip of cloth first, and then I'll find some medicine for you after the crisis is over."
Jiang Cheng finished bandaging Wu Bo's wounds and had just caught his breath when he noticed that the windshield of the car was covered with mutated rats. His face darkened. These mutated rats must have smelled blood to have swarmed over.
If the mutated rats get in through the exhaust vents or the engine compartment, it will be a big problem.
Thinking of this, Jiang Cheng looked at Wu Bo and saw that his face was pale and he was groaning in pain. His eyes flickered.
Liu Anran looked at the mutated rat crawling around on the car's windshield and got goosebumps. She used to hate rats, but now she hated them even more.
Chu Yunxiao heard screams one after another and said worriedly, "I heard screams several times just now. I wonder if something happened to Jiang Cheng and the others?"
Jiang Cheng and the others encountered danger because they were looking for him. Chu Yunxiao couldn't just stand by and watch them be in danger, so he put his hand on the car door handle, preparing to go out and see what was going on.
"An Ran, stay in the car and don't get out."

Although Liu Anran told herself to guard her heart and not to fall for Chu Yunxiao, she still felt a little sad.
Yunlong woke up at some point, looked up at Liu Anran, and asked, "Mom, doesn't Dad want us anymore?"
Liu Anran hugged Yunlong tightly and whispered, "Your father has his responsibilities."

“Your father’s men came all the way from Beijing to find him. They were in danger because of your father. Your father can’t just ignore it. You have to understand him,” Liu Anran explained.
Yunlong watched the mutated rats pacing back and forth on the car's windshield. Their eyes gleamed in the darkness, emitting an eerie light. His heart tightened, and he couldn't help but snuggle closer to Liu Anran.
"Mom, I'm afraid of mice."
"Don't be afraid, Mom is here. Mom will protect Yunlong," Liu Anran said.
Liu Anran carried Yunlong from the back seat to the driver's seat, locked the door, and, suppressing her fear, patted the windshield to try and scare away the rat. She saw that the mutated rat was not only not driven away, but was staring at her hand with a bloodthirsty glint in its eyes. She was immediately frightened and withdrew her hand.
Liu Anran discovered that these mutated rats seemed very hungry and wanted to eat their flesh to replenish their energy.
Suddenly, the mutated rats scattered, and Yunlong exclaimed in surprise, "Mom, the rats are all gone, we're safe now!"
Liu Anran was also puzzled. Why did all the mice disappear at once? That didn't make sense!
Could it be that all the mutated rats have gone after Chu Yunxiao?
Yunlong's eyes widened suddenly, and he pointed at the windshield of the car, exclaiming in terror, "Mom, a monster!"
Liu Anran also saw it: a very large mutated rat jumped onto the hood of the car. Through the windshield, she noticed that the mutated rat was larger than a normal cat, with red eyes that emitted an eerie red light.
Yunlong saw the mutated rat staring intently at them and panicked.

Holy crap! Something incredible happened today! This mutated rat not only has intelligence, it can even laugh!
