Seeing Yunlong frowning, Liu Anran reached out to smooth his brow and gently comforted him, "Yunlong, you're still a child. Just be happy every day, that's all that matters."
"Mom, can't you, Dad, and I stay together forever?" Yunlong asked.

Bai Lu smiled and looked at Chu Yunxiao, "Your subordinates are really good; they can even fix cars."

After Chu Yunxiao got into the car and sat down, Yunlong suddenly asked, "Dad, is Mom pretty?"
"Beautiful," Chu Yunxiao said honestly.
Liu Anran was beautiful and charming; otherwise, he wouldn't have taken a liking to her and had a one-night stand with her.
Yunlong then asked, "Your mother is prettier than many people's mothers, so why don't you want her?"
Chu Yunxiao hadn't thought carefully about his future with Liu Anran; right now, he just wanted to keep her by his side and protect her.

Bai Lu sneered and said with disdain, "Does that woman Liu Anran deserve Chu Yunxiao? She's nothing but a plaything for Chu Yunxiao to satisfy his desires."
Wang Qiang was getting fed up with Bai Lu's arrogant attitude and asked, "Liu Anran is Chu Yunxiao's plaything, what are you, his true love?"
Bai Lu's face showed a hint of anger as she coldly asked, "Wang Qiang, do you think I'm not good enough for Chu Yunxiao, or do you think I'm inferior to Liu Anran?"
"Do my thoughts matter?" Wang Qiang asked.
"It doesn't matter," Bai Lu said without any hesitation.
She and Wang Qiang were just companions; he had no right to interfere in her affairs, and she disdained to interfere in his.
Wang Qiang was becoming increasingly intolerant of Bai Lu, wondering where she got the audacity to be so arrogant.

Seeing that Chu Yunxiao and the others had set off, Wang Qiang quickly started his car and followed.

Liu Anran heard Chu Yunxiao's hurried voice and quickly looked behind the car. When she saw a large python chasing them, she was stunned! Her heart started pounding.
Holy crap! A giant python! A mutated python! It's terrifyingly big!
Yunlong didn't look back and didn't know how big the python was. He saw the fear on Liu Anran's face and comforted her, "Mom, Dad said he would protect us, don't be afraid."
Suppressing her fear, Liu Anran didn't bother to answer Yunlong's question. Instead, she unbuckled Yunlong's seatbelt, picked up the baby carrier, and carried Yunlong on her back. Her voice trembled as she said, "Hold on tight to Mommy."
Yunlong obediently hugged Liu Anran tightly.
Liu Anran gripped the front seat tightly, turning her head to see the giant python relentlessly pursuing them. Her heart was in her throat, and she asked in a panic, "Chu Yunxiao, what do we do if the giant python keeps following us?"
"What else can we do but run away?"
This was the first time Chu Yunxiao had encountered a mutated python. It had only just evolved and was already several times larger than a regular python. He wasn't absolutely certain he could defeat the giant python, so he could only increase his speed to keep it from catching up.
"Holy crap! When did snakes become so fast?" Liu Anran exclaimed in horror, her voice trembling.

Chu Yunxiao had no time to talk to Liu Anran; he accelerated and charged forward.
The cars behind were left far behind until they disappeared from sight.
Seeing that she had escaped the python, Liu Anran exclaimed in delight, "Chu Yunxiao, the python is no longer in sight!"
"Are the cars behind following?" Chu Yunxiao asked.
"I didn't see the car chasing us from behind," Liu Anran replied.
"The prognosis is probably grim," Chu Yunxiao said sympathetically.
