Liu Anran glanced at Qin Ruixu and Chu Yunxiao with a detached expression, then coldly looked away.
When Chu Yunxiao met Liu Anran's cold gaze, his heart sank. He walked up to Liu Anran and stared into her eyes, trying to see some emotion in them, but Liu Anran's eyes were like a stagnant pool, without any emotional fluctuation.
"An Ran, do you still recognize me?" Chu Yunxiao asked tentatively.
“Chu Yunxiao,” Liu Anran said.
When Chu Yunxiao saw Liu Anran utter the name Chu Yunxiao, it sounded like a robot without emotion speaking, her face filled with sadness.
"An Ran, why haven't you come back to see us for so long?" Qin Ruixu asked Liu An Ran.
Liu Anran looked coldly at Qin Ruixu and said, "There is a reason."
Tan Qi, looking disheveled, approached Chu Yunxiao. "Brother Yunxiao, that vicious woman Liu Anran was disrespectful to Auntie and bullied me, throwing me into a tree."
Liu Anran grabbed Tan Qi by the neck with one hand, her eyes flashing red, repeatedly provoking her, courting death!
Tan Qi was choked and had difficulty breathing. She reached out to hit Liu Anran, but Liu Anran grabbed her hand and twisted it. With a crack, Tan Qi's wrist was broken by Liu Anran.
"Ah!" Tan Qi let out a heart-wrenching scream.
"I told you I hate noise, why do you always come up to me and spout nonsense? Who gave you the nerve?" Liu Anran said, releasing Tan Qi's neck and kicking her away. She said coldly, "If you ever come up to me again and get in my way, I'll kill you."
"Liu Anran, how did you become so cold-blooded and ruthless?" Qin Yuhan rebuked angrily.
Liu Anran suddenly looked at Qin Yuhan, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Say one more word, and you'll be killed without mercy!"
Seeing the chilling aura emanating from Liu Anran, Chu Yunxiao worried that Liu Anran might actually attack Qin Yuhan, so he hurriedly stopped her, saying, "Mom, say less. If there's nothing to do, come home. Don't keep running to your uncle's house."
Chu Yunxiao couldn't understand how his mother, who used to be so shrewd, could now be so blind, still unable to see that Liu Anran was no longer the same Liu Anran who always tolerated and yielded to him.
"Chu Yunxiao, what kind of daughter-in-law speaks to her mother-in-law like that? Have you forgotten your mother now that you have a wife?" Qin Yuhan said.
Liu Anran glanced at Qin Yuhan expressionlessly. She didn't care about unimportant people and walked towards Qin Ruixu's house first.
Yunlong and Chu Chen quickly followed.
Qin Ruixu looked at Qin Yuhan with icy eyes, "Qin Yuhan, don't always bring Tan Qi to my house unless it's absolutely necessary. Yunlong and the others have to cultivate, study, and do many other things. Don't bother them unless it's important."
Qin Ruixu had long wanted to ignore Qin Yuhan. He had only been reluctant to talk to her before because of their past relationship. Who knew that Qin Yuhan would be so ungrateful, bringing Tan Qi to his house every few days, which made him very unhappy. Today, he decided to make things clear to prevent Qin Yuhan from overestimating herself and going to cause trouble for Liu Anran, getting accidentally killed by Liu Anran, and becoming enemies with Chu Yunxiao, which would be difficult for him to handle.
Qin Yuhan's face turned ashen. Just as she was about to retort, Chu Yunxiao hurriedly pulled her away. He just didn't understand why his mother was acting like this, determined to destroy the last bit of affection between her and her uncle.
Seeing that no one paid any attention to her, Tan Qi had no choice but to flee in a sorry state.
Liu Anran walked into the living room and sat down, looking at Yunlong and the others.
Yunlong asked, "Mom, are you alright?"
“I’m fine, sit down,” Liu Anran replied.
Chu Feng had been missing her mother for a long time, so she sat down in the seat closest to her mother. Chu Chen and the others also sat down right next to Liu Anran.
Liu Anran's heart skipped a beat; the long-lost heartbeat startled her for a moment.
"Mom, I miss you so much," Chu Feng said coquettishly, clinging to Liu Anran's wrist.
Liu Anran could feel the pulse of Chu Yunfeng's blood. Her blood was boiling, clamoring to tear Chu Yunfeng apart, but Liu Anran forcibly suppressed it.
She would never eat people, much less her own daughter, and she would never allow herself to become a monster.
