Chapter 7 Adding a Friend
"No, no, no, I'm not trying to curry favor with you. The thing this world lacks most is food, but a person's ability is limited. No matter how much you stockpile, it's never enough for a lifetime of food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. It's different with space. You can stockpile as much as you want, even enough for several lifetimes. Now is a good time to stockpile. Don't worry, I'm not eating for free. I have strength and can work. I awakened my superpowers. I was the one who knocked down the mall door with just one punch."
Lan Shiruo's face was expressionless. "Why did you come to me? Since you know about superpowers, you should know that I'm not the only one with a space. I don't know you well. If you and your friends work together, it's not impossible to store enough food for a lifetime."
"Because I think you're a good person."
"Good people?" Lan Shiruo smiled, a cold smile. "There are no good people in this world. Your intuition is not very useful."
"Really? My intuition is always right. I saw it all last night. You didn't break into any store with people inside, and you didn't take everything from the mall. Even though you look cold, unkind, and fierce, you're very kind to your friends. All of this shows that you're a good person. Those classmates of mine aren't really friends. I only went out with them because I was bored. Plus, after what happened to you just now, I can see clearly that they will definitely be the ones to stab me in the back, so I don't dare to hang out with them anymore. I'm telling the absolute truth. If you tell a lie, you'll be bitten by a monster the moment you leave the house."
Lan Shiruo glanced at Miaomiao. She looked very cute, with a bob haircut, and a cute, adorable little girl. Coincidentally, she had awakened a power, giving her a bit of a Barbie doll vibe. She said indifferently, "I just hate trouble. I'm not what you'd call a good person. And, you just said you broke down the door. Are you any different from them?"
"I smashed it, but I swear to God, I really thought there was a monster inside. I knocked on the door and shouted several times before I smashed it, but there was no answer, so I smashed it. Then I saw you after I opened the door, I was really surprised. Of course, I can't rule out that I have some ulterior motives. I know that the things in the mall must have been collected by you, so I want to follow you and have no worries about food and clothing. But don't worry, I won't be a parasite, and I won't betray my partners. It doesn't matter if you don't believe me, just give me a chance to prove myself, right? Just treat it as an apprentice, no wages, just food, and teach me how to fight monsters by the way. When I learn it well, you just be the boss, and I will respect you. I saw that the few times you cut monsters, it was really handsome."
Lan Shiruo stopped talking and asked the general to continue walking.
The general glanced at Miaomiao with a threatening look, then turned around and followed.
Miaomiao was overjoyed. Did he agree? She jumped up and down to catch up.
"Sister, where are we going now? No matter how old you are, you are still my sister. Just tell me where you're going, and I'll go ahead. These little shrimps are not even as big as my fist, so I promise not to dirty your hands."
"The 4S shop in front, get some cars."
Miaomiao was stunned. Is this a response?
She danced with joy and quickly followed, "Sister, I know the way, I know, I'll go ahead."
Lan Shiruo had a calm expression on her face. She didn't stop him and patted the general's head. "Be good, it will be more lively with more people."
The general shook his fur and said, "Okay, from now on, Master Ao's fur will be given to her."
Lan Shiruo shook her head and laughed. This was also a proud little guy.
More and more people were running wildly on the streets. Some were brave enough to pick up weapons, while others just ran around the streets, shouting and screaming, making it impossible for the zombies to ignore them.
There was an old lady in her forties or fifties in the alley. Judging from her voice, she looked energetic but not very brave. She shouted "Help, help, help me!" all over the alley, running without slowing down at all. When she saw the two people and the mastiff, her eyes were full of joy.
"Hurry, hurry and save me, hurry and save me."
He suddenly accelerated and rushed to the two people and the mastiff, pulling Miaomiao behind him, "Go, go and kill them quickly, they are monsters."
Miaomiao was so strong that she stumbled a few steps, her face not looking good. "Sister, can I beat her?"
Lan Shiruo had a blank expression on her face. "Treat her the way she treats you. This is my rule of survival. It depends on whether you want to learn it or not."
Miaomiao grinned, "Of course I have to learn."
Before the old lady could react to what the two meant, Miaomiao pulled her back and she fell right in front of the feet of the rotting corpse that was moving forward stiffly.
The old lady was furious, angry, and afraid. "You two are such heartless beasts. You take human life so lightly. You deserve a bad death. Save me, save me!"
Lan Shiruo looked on coldly. If he hadn't just been yelling, turned over and ran, or picked up the scraps nearby, he wouldn't have died. "Let's go."
"Yes." Miaomiao clapped her hands. She didn't have the fear or helplessness of her first time killing someone. She was actually a little excited. Oh, she felt that she might be born a bad person. "Sister, I still have a conscience. I'm not a pervert, and I don't kill people."
Lan Shiruo curled her lips slightly, "No matter who you are, as long as you don't use it on my people, it's all fine."
"Don't worry, sister. Actually, I am a person who protects my people. Your people are my people and no one can touch them." He jumped up and down, looking innocent and deceptive.
Lan Shiruo deeply felt that viruses could not only change a person's physique, but also change a person's mind. In the end times, this was deeply felt.
My consciousness sank into the space and I took a look at the little guy. He woke up without crying or making a fuss. He just stared around and seemed to be having a great time.
After regaining consciousness and continuing on his way, he encountered many people covered in blood, who looked at the two men as if they were prey.
The generals and ministers bared their teeth and showed their claws, and these people became obedient.
Miaomiao wanted to get close to the general, "Young general is awesome, please take care of me in the future."
The generals and ministers were given a huge back of the head, and no one would care about you.
Miaomiao is a thick-skinned person. She can't see other people's cold eyes at all and continues to get close to them.
There are more and more robberies and plunders. Before the corpses arrive, most of the people are killed by their own kind. Tsk tsk, human nature is so twisted.
Faced with these, the two men and the mastiff took a detour. They were not saints and could not save anyone. If they wanted to survive in troubled times, they had to become strong themselves.
I didn't go into any of the shops I passed by, so I just left the things for them to rob, and considered it a good deed.
"Sister, let's go over there by bike. It's a public bike. I can remove the lock."
Lan Shiruo glanced around. Everyone was busy robbing and looting. The streets were full of cars and rotting corpses. A bicycle was a good choice. "Okay."
Miaomiao's lock removal is a violent removal, fast, accurate and ruthless, and she got two cars. "Sister, it's done."
"Let's go."
Miaomiao led the way in front, and Jiangxiang followed at the end. Lan Shiruo suddenly thought that it would be nice to have an electric car or a motorcycle on a road like this.
"Bang."
