Chapter 4: Stupid Apprentice

In Loulan City, the Third Young Master Wen is used to abusing his power.

Moreover, although he is a playboy, he is not stupid. If he really went around picking on others, his legs would have been broken by his father long ago.

Young Master Wen San knew clearly in his heart who could move and who could not move.

In this state, the only people he couldn't easily offend were the true descendants of a few major clans, or the young men and women with similar family backgrounds to his own.

What's more, he has always only oppressed the powerless civilians. Even those with a little status, even if they are far inferior to him, he generally would not provoke them, so as not to accidentally expose some people's complicated network of connections.

For example, this Li Ji Restaurant is owned by one of his younger brothers. Most of the diners here are just passing businessmen and travelers. They have no status and are not from any big power.

So coming here occasionally to clear the place and eat is nothing.

After Mr. Wen San made such a fuss, most of the diners left. However, one table of diners frowned and was very disdainful of the waiter's persuasion.

A young swordsman stood up and pushed away the waiter who tried to ask him to leave.

He held the hilt of his sword and looked at the crowd gathered around Mr. Wen San. "Isn't this Mr. Wen really taking advantage of his power to bully others?"

Wen Ling, who was dressed in gorgeous clothes, did not respond, but just winked at the middle-aged servant next to him.

The middle-aged servant was tall, but had a kind face. He took a few steps forward and asked with a smile, "Sir, may I ask your name? Are you a disciple of a major sect? Or perhaps you're from an aristocratic family seeking experience?"

"My name is Chen Honglong. I'm just a commoner, not from a powerful clan or noble family. I'm just passing through Loulan City. I've heard a lot about Lord Wen, a hero of Xiliang Prefecture. How could he allow his own son to prey on the villagers?"

The young swordsman had a defiant look on his face and sighed repeatedly, which frightened the people around him.

"I see."

The middle-aged servant nodded slightly, glanced at the diners at the same table with Chen Honglong, and asked with a smile, "What about you guys?"

These wanderers all looked very young, and were all travelers from other places. Relying on their martial arts skills, they did not care about the reputation of the Third Young Master Wen.

After confirming that these dusty wanderers were not from any powerful faction, the middle-aged servant's amiable smile quickly faded.

Wen Ling beside him chuckled, "You're nothing, yet you dare to jump in front of me. Are you a newborn calf that's not afraid of a tiger? Destroy these people for me and let them know how dangerous the world is."

He called on several of his men to rush forward, and in an instant the two gangs were fighting each other.

After all, Chen Honglong and other independent people had no sect or school, so they soon fell into a disadvantage.

Although two of them were martial artists at the acquired realm, they were still no match for the Wen family. After dozens of rounds, several of the independent men were disarmed, had their tendons cut, and were thrown out.

As the screams faded away, almost all the diners in the restaurant had left.

At this moment, Wen Ling glanced at the handsome young man next to him and apologized repeatedly: "Brother Liu, I'm sorry, these unruly people are really unruly and have really ruined your fun."

He had been under house arrest for some time, and the reason he was able to leave the mansion now was because he was sent by his family to accompany this distinguished guest. The two of them had been having a great time in Loulan City and simply stopped by here to catch up with the meal.

If this distinguished guest had not been present, and blood had not been shed, with his temper, he would have killed those fools long ago.

"No problem." Young Master Liu gently waved his folding fan, looking very elegant. "I've heard that the people of Xiliang Prefecture are tough and martial. It's understandable that there will be occasional conflicts."

After saying this, he turned his head again and looked at the two little heads that popped out from the private room on the second floor. He pointed and said, "But it seems that Master Wen's reputation in Loulan City isn't quite working."

This restaurant is not a high-end place and there are no important customers. But even so, when a son of a governor wants to clear out a small restaurant, there are people who are blindly watching over it one after another.

Wen Ling also followed the direction pointed by Master Liu and saw two yellow-haired girls sticking their heads out. They were smiling at him and even making a face, which made him very angry.

We have just made an example of someone who was afraid of us. Some of the diners who were still here have all left now that they see the situation is not good.

I didn't expect that there would be a girl in the private room of this restaurant who dared to challenge me.

Being provoked by someone in such a blind manner was secondary. The most important thing was that he lost face in front of the distinguished guests, which made Wen Ling extremely angry.

Before Wen Ling could open his mouth to curse, the middle-aged servant shouted, "I wonder which family this girl is from? How could she be so rude in front of our young master?"

After a long while, a faint voice came from the private room upstairs, "Qing'er, these people are a bit noisy, go and chase them away."

What?

Did she hear it right?

Zhao Qingqing felt a tingling sensation on her scalp when she heard the master's order.

She had also heard of the name of Wenzhou Mu, but as someone born into a wealthy family in a small town, compared with the prominent families in the state, she was simply a poor family in the countryside.

What's more, she has only been practicing with her master for a few days, and now she has to go alone to fight off so many people. She might be hacked to death!

Zhao Qingqing never thought that the young master of the governor's family would show mercy to a country girl like her.

"Ah... Master, I've only been learning from you for a few days. There are so many people here. What if I get beaten to death..." Zhao Qingqing's big black eyes rolled around a few times, looking at Bai Xiaozhen who was joining in the fun nearby, ready to deflect the blame. "How about letting Junior Sister Bai take over? She's much more powerful than me."

"Senior Sister, you have to believe in yourself. As Master's eldest disciple, how can you say that you are incompetent?"

Bai Xiaozhen's smile froze as she watched the fun, and she retorted playfully.

Even the sect she originally came from, including the Star Stealing Sect, dared not offend the Wen family!

"No, no, no, Junior Sister, you should go first. As your senior sister, I can cover your rear."

"Then let me leave this kind of limelight-seeking matter to my senior sister. I, your junior sister, am not strong enough!"

The two people were chattering upstairs, and the increasingly loud excuses were naturally heard by the people downstairs.

Not only were Wen Ling and his servants stunned, even Master Liu next to him was a little dazed.

Are these little girls playing house?

"Qing'er, go quickly."

Xu Xianxian was very upset.

She accepted two apprentices, the one on the left was useless, and the one on the right was also useless. It was really embarrassing. cascoo.net

But she remained calm on the surface, maintaining her graceful demeanor. "You have already mastered the Taiyin Form Refining Technique. With your Qi training stage, you are now capable of controlling the flying sword I gave you."

"You're a cultivator, why are you afraid of these martial artists?"
