Antiques and cultural relics are proof and inheritance of culture. Li Yao felt that rather than letting those antiques be broken and discarded like worn-out shoes in the post-apocalyptic foreign country, she would be a kind person and collect them. Those dazzling antique jewelry and beautiful vases need someone like her who can safely collect them. After all, the [Infinite Space] is vast and the rest of her life is long. Li Yao felt that she could pursue spiritual goals.
Upon hearing Li Yao's shameless (not really) thought process, the system, as if to applaud, gave her six dots […].
Li Yao said to the system, "[6834, time to get to work! There are only 7 countries left out of the original 8. The Dragon Kingdom has the most treasures, and they also plunder the most treasures from other places. Let's start with these countries.]"
System [Okay, host. You have marked the following museums for you: Eagle Museum, Royal Museum of Scotland, Royal Armoury Museum, Natural History Museum of Scotland, National Gallery of Scotland, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum of Scotland, Tate Modern, National Maritime Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Scotland Museum, Scotland Transport Museum, Freud Museum, Science Museum, Churchill Museum and War Cabinet Office, British Gallery, National Football Museum.]
Looking at the red dots marking the various items on the system panel in front of her, Li Yao said to 6834, "[6834, we need to take over the warehouses, basements, and storage areas for cultural relics and antiques of the Great Eagle.]"
[System received, please rest assured, host.]
Li Yao was still wearing the invisibility cloak. She opened the teleportation portal but didn't leave. Her first stop was the Great Eagle Museum. She opened the door on the wall of an empty warehouse in the museum. Li Yao used [Spatial Conversion] to touch the ground, and the entire museum, including the plaza, was taken into her space.
The British Museum, also known as the National Museum of the United Kingdom, is located on Russell Square, north of New Oxford Street in London, England. Founded in 1753 and officially opened to the public on January 15, 1759, it is the world's oldest and largest comprehensive museum, and one of the four largest and most famous museums in the world. The museum houses numerous artifacts and treasures from around the world, as well as manuscripts from many great scientists; the richness and diversity of its collection is unparalleled among museums worldwide.
The Eagle Kingdom National Museum boasts a collection of over 8 million items. Li Yao gazed at the museum within the space, meticulously browsing through it with her consciousness. The Oriental Art and Relics Hall and the Dragon Kingdom Exhibition Hall alone occupied several large halls, displaying exhibits ranging from Shang and Zhou bronzes to Tang and Song porcelains and Ming and Qing gold and jade artifacts.
The collection alone includes over 20,000 rare treasures from various dynasties in China, the vast majority of which are priceless. These include paintings and embroideries from different dynasties, unearthed artifacts from various periods, calligraphy and paintings from the Tang and Song dynasties, and porcelain from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Among the most valuable items are the "Admonitions of the Instructress to the Court Ladies," a Song dynasty tricolor glazed pottery statue of an Arhat, Dunhuang manuscripts, and famous paintings from the Song and Ming dynasties.
The bronze zun from the Shang Dynasty is made of two conjoined sheep, with a round zun vessel in the middle. The design is very beautiful and exquisite.
There is also a Song Dynasty porcelain wine pot with a lotus flower around the base and the lid, and a lion sitting on the lid, which is an even rarer treasure.
Even the two large stone lions at the back entrance of the museum were transported from China.
Those exquisite porcelain and jade pieces still look magnificent under the light.
Whenever Li Yao sees cultural relics or historical artifacts, she can't help but wonder if people thousands or hundreds of years ago also paused like this. Could they have imagined that these treasures would still shine so brightly after thousands of years? Those were thousands of years ago, in an era of agrarian civilization where people couldn't even get enough to eat, yet such exquisite craftsmanship existed.
Li Yao wanted to see more, but the system prompted her: "[Host needs to speed things up; the old site of the Great Eagle Museum has been surrounded by police.]"
Li Yao understood immediately. Now, all countries wanted to find out the reason for the disappearance of buildings and materials. Wherever there was a disappearance, the local police would take it very seriously. So Li Yao did not hesitate and directly clicked on the [Teleportation Gate] to change to another location, [Royal Museum of Scotland].
The Royal Museums of Scotland consists of two museums: the Scottish Museum and the Royal Museum. Both are located on Chambers Street, in the heart of Edinburgh. They are just a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk from the Royal Mile.
The Scottish Museum is a remarkable new landmark in a historic Scottish town, showcasing Scotland's history, geography, culture, and achievements for the first time through its extensive national collection.
A series of magnificent exhibition rooms take you from the geological formation of Scotland all the way to the present century.
Built in 1999, the Scottish Museum is considered one of the finest buildings in 20th-century Scotland, adding a vibrant, modern touch to Edinburgh's Old Town.
Next to the museum is the University of Edinburgh, the fourth oldest university in the UK, with a very elegant campus and buildings.
The Royal Museums' architecture blends seamlessly with Scotland's unique history and natural environment, particularly echoing the Round Tower of Edinburgh Castle, creating a clever connection between history and modernity. The exterior is clad in Scottish golden sandstone, giving it a weathered, ancient appearance. The triangular entrance hall, reaching seven stories high, creates a powerful sense of space, aptly described as a "birdcage."
The hall is well-lit, with sunlight reaching almost every corner. Decorative features such as fountains and fishponds add a touch of nature.
The Royal Museums houses many outstanding international collections, including those on decorative arts, science and industry, archaeology and the natural world, and contains a wealth of related materials.
