Chapter 5 First Experience with Space Transformation

Looking at the [Spatial Conversion Skill] on the panel, Li Yao thought of the method of collecting items by touching infinite space. She stood in the living room facing the window and used [Spatial Conversion].

Then Li Yao saw her outstretched hand emerge from the lawn outside the window. Her hand touched a weed on the lawn, and she silently said, "Retract."

Instantly, grass appeared on the panel of the infinite space, displaying the name [Weeds x1]. This feeling was strange. At the same time, a red exclamation mark appeared on the system panel in front of Li Yao. Li Yao opened her personal panel...

Looking at the [Conversion Value of Skill Points for Proficiency], Li Yao understood that this must be the "money" the system mentioned, which could be used to open the system shop to buy skills and other things.

Looking at the skill points for the Infinite Space, Li Yao realized that it was from some things she had collected from the villa. So Li Yao filled the quilt with hot water and put it in, and found that the skill points increased by 1. She took it out again and found that the skill points increased by 1 again. She understood that the name was indeed not clickbait.

As long as she uses the space, she can gain skill points. So Li Yao thought about going out to the supermarket. With the space at her disposal, she couldn't help but want to stock up.

There is a large chain fresh food supermarket in Liyao Villa District. If you buy a lot of things, you can ask the supermarket staff to deliver them directly to your villa.

Li Yao picked out a pleated skirt for herself, paired it with a sweatshirt, and carried a small Chanel bag to hold her phone before heading out.

When they arrived at the supermarket, it wasn't too crowded, but the selection was excellent, with many imported goods. Looking at the dazzling array of items, Li Yao thought she'd start with the food.

Li Yao selected some potato chips. She used to like lime, cucumber, and taro flavors. This time, in addition to her favorite flavors, she also bought some less common flavors such as spicy hot pot, charcoal grilled pork belly, chicken broth tomato, rich red stew, seaweed flakes, sesame copper hot pot, black truffle, avocado, spicy butter hot pot, roasted chicken wings, and golden fried crab, thinking of choosing some that suited her.

Besides potato chips, it was all chocolate. Li Yao grabbed a portion of every single chocolate on the shelf: hazelnut, basil, and raisin flavored chocolates; matcha white chocolate cookies; sugar-free dark chocolate; crispy rice chocolate; triangular milk chocolate; sea salt sugar-free chocolate; berry ice cream flavored chocolates, and so on.

There were also various flavors of rainbow candy, such as floral and fruity, plum, fruit tea, lactic acid fruit, fruit tea, gummy floral and fruity, and gummy candy. She bought a bag of each flavor. In addition to these, Li Yao went to the nut section and bought some new flavors that she hadn't tried before, such as durian-flavored multi-flavored peanuts, Sichuan peppercorn-flavored sunflower seeds, spicy strip-flavored country beans, sea salt-flavored sunflower seeds, and so on.

Li Yao also bought some convenience foods, such as instant noodles, self-heating hot pot, instant spicy hot pot, instant hot and sour noodles, instant claypot rice, and braised beef brisket with potatoes. Li Yao bought several different brands so she could choose her favorites later.

Since her shopping cart was already full, Li Yao checked out first, then pushed another cart to the beverage section and bought some of her usual drinks like cola and juice.

Li Yao focused on looking at some large-capacity brands that she hadn't tried much before, such as milk tea, apple juice, orange juice, mixed lime juice, coconut milk, almond milk, and so on.

Li Yao wanted to choose some large-capacity ones, since her space was static anyway. After drinking, she could close the lid and put the bottle back in to avoid generating too much packaging waste.

Afterwards, Li Yao went to the refrigerated section and selected some sausages, ham, bacon, and various brands of wontons, dumplings, buns, steamed buns, shumai, and yogurt. Li Yao loves drinking yogurt, so she bought the same brand of yogurt that she doesn't usually drink, including cheese, various fruit flavors, coconut, lime, and sugar-free yogurt, etc., planning to stock up on some of her favorite flavors in the future.

When Li Yao arrived at the deli section, she looked at the various braised dishes but didn't have high expectations. She thought she would buy more from the established brands on the street, but she could still try them. So she bought a little bit of each of the various braised beef, beef shank, pig's head and ears, duck neck and duck feet, chicken feet and chicken wings.

For toiletries, Li Yao has her favorite brands and plans to "select directly from the manufacturer" later. As for toilet paper, Li Yao also picked out a variety of brands, thinking she would try them out to see which one was the most comfortable. This stuff would have to be bought in tonnes.

Choosing products is actually quite troublesome, but Li Yao thought that these things might not be produced anymore in the future, so she should buy more of what she likes, buy all the things she likes, and then get a variety of other things to keep things fresh.

After having the shop assistant register her address, Li Yao strolled back to the villa. The summer evening in July was still hot. Holding an ice cream, Li Yao walked slowly along the sidewalk of the villa, feeling the evening breeze on her face. There was always a little sadness in her heart, knowing that these beautiful moments would not last.

I need to speed things up. First, I need to get things sorted out domestically and select the courier services for shipping. At the same time, I can also try to 'directly select from manufacturers' overseas.
