Chapter 84 Organizing the Ranch

After getting up, Li Yao still washed up and exercised, but today she didn't linger around the dogs and pandas. She planned to organize the ranch's food.

The pasture previously had 50,000 mu of vegetables and fruits, 50,000 mu of fruit greenhouses, and 30,000 mu of wheat.

It's already the end of August, and the wheat is basically all ripe.

Li Yao plans to harvest wheat today.

There are 12 automatic harvesters and flour mills on the farm. Li Yao took out 20 barrels of gasoline, filled the tanks of the machines, and started harvesting wheat with the automatic harvesters.

The wheat covers 50,000 mu (approximately 3,333 hectares) and takes a full half-month to harvest. The pasture has automatic dryers; the harvested wheat is placed in the automatic dryers, and after the moisture is dried, the machines automatically bag it according to the set weight.

Each bag contains 50kg. That's a total of 8500 bags.

The grains were stored in Li Yao's spatial storage, ensuring they wouldn't spoil. The remaining land would simply be dried, burned, and then sown again the following year.

Next year, Li Yao plans to plant less; two acres will suffice.

As for vegetables, bok choy, radishes, peppers, pumpkin, water spinach, lettuce, green beans, and loofah are all ripe.

The robots are gathered together, with each robot responsible for one acre of land at a time, and they take turns picking vegetables.

Li Yao sat at the vegetable basket exchange area. Each robot picked vegetables and placed them in the designated spot, then put down the full ones and took away the empty ones.

Li Yao kept picking vegetables from the pile.

Wearing a straw hat, she sat on the sofa, holding an iced milk tea in one hand and harvesting vegetables in the other, occasionally watching variety shows, managing to do nothing at all.

After another half month of busy work, the vegetable garden was finally harvested.

Next up is the fruit. The previous greenhouses have been dismantled, and now the temperature is constant, so it doesn't affect the fruit's growth. Strawberries, cherries, mangoes, plums, and apricots are the most commonly grown fruits in the country, and these are also the main fruits grown here.

This harvest was the same as before: Li Yao was in charge of collecting the fruit, the robots were in charge of picking it, and Li Yao would occasionally eat a few herself.

After working for more than half a month, we have finally finished harvesting all the fruit. I have to say, the fruit grown with the spring water is really sweet. The strawberries are especially sweet and fragrant, and the mangoes are very soft and delicious.

A total of 120 million catties of vegetables and more than 180 million catties of fruit were harvested.

Li Yao plans to plant less next year, as the current crop is enough to feed her for a long time.

After tidying up the land again, Li Yao returned to the villa and took a comfortable warm bath. The past month had been quite busy.

Once she relaxed, Li Yao didn't feel like moving.

She didn't go out in the afternoon. After taking the dogs to the mountain hotel, she lay on the sofa and watched TV.

If you get tired of looking at things, play with the dog to refresh your eyes.

As sunset approaches, Li Yao would teleport the dogs to the beach to watch the sunset and the sun set, before teleporting back to the mountain hotel for dinner.

She first prepared dog food, fresh meat, raw eggs, and some apples for the dogs, and finally added two drops of spiritual spring water. The dogs then began to eat voraciously.

For myself, I'll have some mala tang today. It's bone broth mala tang with a spicy sesame sauce dipping sauce. The slightly charred fried egg soaks up all the bone broth, and after dipping it in the sesame sauce and chili sauce, I swallow it in one bite, and the rich aroma explodes on my tongue.

Soft tofu, sweet and crisp yam, fragrant sweet potato, chewy rice noodles, and more—each dish boasts the rich aroma of bone broth and the original flavor of the ingredients. Add the perfect dipping sauce, and you won't be able to stop eating.

Li Yao ate two servings before she was 80% full, and then she ate a bowl of brown sugar ice jelly. The bowl had been frozen with her superpower, which was absolutely amazing. Ice jelly should be served in an ice bowl.
