The reservoir in Xiangshan is usually only frequented by locals who occasionally come to fish, so the overall water quality is fairly good.
As Li Yao walked to the edge of the reservoir, she heard a group of people laughing and joking.
She found a place to go into the water, and her spiritual power "saw" that there were many fish there, including grass carp weighing six or seven pounds and black carp and silver carp weighing more than ten pounds.
She secretly manipulated several large fish to bite the hook; now she could have grilled fish later.
After swimming in the water for a while, Li Yao went ashore, wrapped herself up tightly in a bath towel, and went to look at the fish in Tan Guangyi's bucket.
When Tan Guangyi saw Li Yao coming over, he said, "Sister Yao, are you going fishing too?"
Li Yao glanced at the seven or eight-pound blackfish in the bucket and said, "Are you going to eat it? If you are, I'll fish for a while longer. I'm really good at it, you know."
Seeing Li Yao's confident demeanor, Tan Guangyi said, "Go ahead and eat. There are so many people, we'll need to bring three or four fish. Yao Yao, if you want to fish, you sit here. I'm going to play in the water for a while."
Seeing that Tan Guangyi really wanted to play in the water, Li Yao took the fishing rod and sat down. As soon as he sat down, Tan Guangyi took off his pants, put on his swimming trunks, and joined the two groups splashing water.
Li Yao watched the fish playing in the distance, then carefully selected and controlled the fish to bite. Before long, she caught three or four fish, which made another male classmate fishing nearby extremely envious.
Just as she was about to reel in her fishing rod, Tan Guangyao walked towards her, his wet hair disheveled yet possessing a wild charm, like an alluring siren. Li Yao unconsciously swallowed.
Tan Guang seemed quite pleased with Li Yao's reaction to his performance; his smile was somewhat alluring.
He walked closer and saw that Li Yao had caught four fish, all of them big. He praised her, saying, "Yao Yao, you're amazing! We'll have grilled fish today!"
Li Yao laughed and said, "Of course, my skills are excellent."
The two laughed as they walked toward their chosen picnic spot, where someone had already set up a traditional earthen stove.
Tan Guangyao told Li Yao to put the fish aside and helped her rest on a shady rock while he joined the cooking team.
Before dusk, the group ate grilled fish, sang revolutionary songs by the reservoir, played games, and returned to the courtyard before dark.
Everyone had a great time these past two days. The boys were still drinking in the yard after they came back at night. Li Yao and Tan Xinxin didn't go. They had been out in the sun all day. Li Yao pulled Tan Xinxin to wash their faces and put on face masks together.
Tan Xinxin also said that her sister Yaoyao is like a treasure trove, always full of new and interesting things.
Li Yao said it was sent by a friend in Hong Kong. The two of them did face masks and full-body skincare before resting.
Tan Guangyao had originally come over to bring them a late-night snack, but seeing that the lights in their room were off, he turned around and went back.
The next day, a group of boys slept until after 10 a.m., then got ready, had a brunch, and went down the mountain together because the weather was cool.
Tan Guangyao first took Li Yao home. At Li Yao's polite invitation, Tan Guangyao and Tan Xinxin had afternoon tea at Li Yao's house and even took a nap. Then, Tan Guangyao took Tan Xinxin home before dinner.
Grandpa Tan was already sitting in the living room waiting for dinner. When he saw the two of them return, he smiled and asked them how their stay on the mountain had been these past few days.
Unable to hold back any longer, Tan Xinxin put down her luggage, washed her hands, and sat down next to Grandpa Tan, saying, "Grandpa, my eldest cousin and Sister Yaoyao are dating! It was my eldest cousin who took the initiative. He cooks for Sister Yaoyao, brings her juice, and takes such good care of her. He's always following her around."
After Tan Xinxin finished speaking with a smile, her parents were both surprised. They knew about Tan Guangyao's blind date stories. They looked at Tan Guangyao and saw that he was unusually embarrassed.
