Chapter 19 Irresistible Will

Chapter 19 Irresistible Will

The middle-aged judge did not personally take Andy out of the church.

After taking him out of the Starry Temple, the other party sent a servant to do this job as if to get rid of a burden.

When they left, they did not go through the main hall, but took many detours to the back door.

There were no familiar figures on the road.

As we moved further away from the temple, the extraordinary world that seemed so close at hand became increasingly blurred and out of reach.

All Andy could see here were some old and frail nuns and church helpers doing various menial chores on the roadside.

What they discussed were not those lofty things, but what to eat tonight, the increasing number of thieves in the fish market, who was always lazy and didn't work, and other trivial matters.

The funny thing is that in this lower world, even the servants were unwilling to take Andy on the last leg of his journey.

On the way, he ordered an old nun who was washing clothes to do the job for him.

"You look awfully sick, kid, why don't you go to the hospital?"

"Are you here to get free relief food?"

The church area covers a large area, and the old nun was a bit nagging, asking a lot of questions along the way.

But she was very kind. When they parted, she saw Andy was growling with hunger, so she kindly gave him a biscuit.

This is the only thing Andy has eaten since early this morning.

Leaving the church area and coming to the busy street, Andy, after identifying the direction, walked towards the apartment building where he had been previously placed.

As a result, as soon as he arrived nearby, he found that the apartment was engulfed in a raging fire. The red color was surging, and the billowing black smoke from the windows attracted a large number of passers-by to watch.

Andy narrowed his eyes at this.

But before he could have any other thoughts, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.

Looking sideways, he saw Father Matthew's female assistant walking towards him in a hurry, as if she had something important to tell him.

However, when she got closer, she hesitated for a moment and finally simply said, "The priest has been transferred from his original position and will not be back in a short time."

After saying this, she put the brown travel backpack in her hand at Andy's feet, then turned and left without looking back.

It seemed as if he didn't want to have anything to do with Andy anymore, and had no intention of helping this stranger find a new place to live.

Andy didn't say anything, he just picked up the backpack that he had asked the female assistant to look after, unzipped it and took a look.

Inside were some of his daily necessities, including a black suitcase.

"You slept soundly."

Andy reached out and touched the box to feel it, and then he felt relieved.

Because it would take quite some time to take the test, he found a way to let the things in the box sleep before that - relying on some knowledge of herbal medicine.

Now it seems that the dosage is a bit too much...

Thinking about how to improve the recipe, Andy put on his backpack and walked towards a fast food restaurant not far away, thinking about filling his stomach first.

Order your food and take a seat by the window.

As Andy was eating his burger, a middle-aged man with a beard and a baseball cap suddenly walked out from the kitchen. He approached and snatched the plate from Andy's table, then threw it to the ground.

"Don't even think about getting any food from us, you damn thief!"

He roared loudly, looking at Andy with disgust.

"Get up and get out of here, you are not welcome here!"

This guy came very suddenly and what he said was very confusing.

After swallowing the food in his mouth, Andy asked in a puzzled tone, "Who are you?"

“I’m the owner of this store!”

The bearded man said this and kicked the chair the boy was sitting on hard.

The fierce force caused the metal chair legs to rub against the tile floor, making a sharp creaking sound! "I told you to get out of here, why are you still dawdling?!"

"This little thing is quite ruthless..."

Not far from the fast food restaurant, there was a car parked with a young man in the driver's seat, observing the situation in the store through a telescope.

Then he saw that the tall and strong bearded boss was about to kick him a second time, but was tripped to the ground by the boy's clever strength!

Then, the bearded boss was kicked several times in the vital parts.

The boy, who looked frail, seemed surprisingly strong.

After being kicked several times in a row, the adult man wailed continuously, covering his crotch and screaming in pain, which made the young man's eyelids twitch subconsciously.

"Are you going to arrest someone, brother?"

The peeping young man then put down the binoculars and turned to look at the co-pilot.

There was a middle-aged man sitting there reading a newspaper. He had a handsome face and wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. He looked very gentle and refined.

It turned out to be the mayor of this city who had initially followed Father Matthew to the hotel to pick up Andy!

After hearing this, the mayor hummed and said, "It's not enough. He is a minor. This crime is nothing."

"How many more?"

"certainly."

The mayor nodded and said, "Whenever he goes to one of these houses, we will make him fight. Even if no one dies, he will be exhausted to death."

These cold-blooded words sounded extremely ordinary in his mouth, as if he was saying, the weather is really nice today.

There was no trace of the kindness and flattery he had shown to Andy in his tone.

"But what if the child endures it?"

The young man in the driver's seat was a little worried about this. "If I were him, I would definitely not do it. After all, it's easy to see that this is a trap."

"It doesn't matter."

The mayor smiled and said, "If he doesn't do it, we will continue to let people humiliate him and insult him until he does it."

"And if he can really endure to that extent, then it doesn't matter."

At this point, the elegant-looking middle-aged man put down the newspaper in his hand and said in a very ordinary tone: "Hotels, restaurants, vegetable markets, welfare institutions, and even black markets, as long as he is in this city or in this country, all public and private places will be closed to him."

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

"He may be very powerful, but even if we ignore the cancer in his body, how many days can he live without eating, drinking and sleeping?"

"But what if he runs away from the country?"

"He has been banned from flights and railways, taxi drivers won't open their doors to him, and our army is on high alert at the border..."

At this point, the mayor couldn't help but sneered, "Where can he run to in this situation?"

“…Is this too exaggerated?”

The young man in the driver's seat was shocked when he heard this. "Who did that kid offend that made him go to such great lengths to target him?"

"against?"

The mayor was startled when he heard this, and then he burst into laughter. "You, you really think too much. The old man doesn't really think highly of this kid, and it's even more impossible for him to spend any more effort on him."

"So what's this?"

"After smelling the scent, a group of people like me are vying to show off, striving to become the old man's dog - although I think this is wishful thinking."

As he said this, the mayor glanced out the car window with a hint of sarcasm at the black-haired boy who had already stepped out of the fast food restaurant.

That afternoon five days ago, he didn't even have the chance to curry favor with the boy, and he was smug about handing over a watch.

But now, five days later, he has become the controller of the other party's fate, able to control and insult the other party at will.

If he wanted to, he could even arrange a sniper to kill the kid.

This exaggerated change of status was just because of the old man's idea...

"Power is such a fascinating thing."

With such emotion, the mayor suddenly said, "Take your men to the hotel where this kid stayed five days ago and smash it up. Break the three legs of the fat guy inside, and sell his wife to the red-light district."

"this……"

The young man in the driver's seat was stunned when he heard this. "But I heard that the fat man and the boy don't get along well and he said a lot of bad things about him?"

"Even if we didn't deal with him, he still took the boy in for three days and didn't ask for any money for board and lodging."

"But will the big guys pay attention to such a small character?"

"No, but what if?"

At this point, the mayor's face was serious. "I tell you, now even if it's a dog, as long as it has something to do with that boy, we will go over and kick it a few times."

"If you don't kick, someone else will."

"You're late. You can't even have a sip of soup!"

These words were so powerful that the young man was stunned. He opened his mouth for a moment and said, "Will this lead to any consequences?"

"Consequences? The priest has been transferred away, and he will have bad luck in the future. With that old gentleman around, what consequences can we, his lackeys, expect for trying to curry favor with him?"

"Well, I mean, if we offend that boy like this, what will happen if he regains power?"

"Boy? Back in power?"

The mayor was stunned when he heard this, as if he had heard a joke, and looked at his own brother with a very strange look.

"You think, an ant." At this point, he hesitated, as if he was organizing his words, preparing to explain the situation to the idiot.

"What kind of power can be gained to overthrow an elephant?"

“We are not elephants.”

"Of course, we are not. But if this ant comes and bites us, then the elephant, who originally disdained us, will not remain indifferent, because this involves a face issue."

Having said this, the mayor patted the other person on the shoulder with a regretful tone.

"This is a good thing, you know, a good thing that I couldn't even dream of."

"Unfortunately, such a good thing will never happen."

"Why?"

"Because the child only has two doses of medicine left. Even if we do nothing, he won't survive the third day."
