Chapter 76: Parallel World in the Dream (Part 2)

Chapter 76: Parallel World in the Dream (Part 2)

In order to confirm his guess, Song Yuqing leaned his whole body on the shopping cart and pushed it forward quickly.

The surrounding shelves became blurred as they moved rapidly. As he took a quick look, Song Yuqing saw an entire row of shelves filled with crystal cores.

Song Yuqing slammed on the brakes.

She picked up a bright red, basketball-sized crystal core from the shelf and looked it over. This core was more translucent than any other she had seen so far; she could even see her own face within it.

Supermarkets are selling crystal cores? Is there such a good thing?

Just as she was thinking about it, the bright red crystal core was actually digested in Song Yuqing's hands. Song Yuqing felt a huge amount of energy injected into her body, but it did not cause her any discomfort. Instead, it made her relax and feel like she was bathed in spring breeze.

Song Yuqing:?

She just wanted to take a look, so how come it was automatically absorbed into her body?

Song Yuqing was full of curiosity and wanted to pick up another large aqua-blue crystal core to study it, but as soon as her hand touched the crystal core, the shopping cart flashed red and sounded an alarm, scaring Song Yuqing so much that she quickly let go.

"Attention, attention, insufficient points."

Song Yuqing was stunned. He turned around and picked up the weapons from the opposite shelf and put them into the shopping cart. This time, the alarm did not sound, and the weapons smoothly entered Song Yuqing's space from the shopping cart.

"How many points do I have left?" Song Yuqing scratched his head, blinked, and moved closer to the shopping cart, asking tentatively.

"A total of 3,000 points, 2,500 points have been spent."

Song Yuqing carefully examined the rows of crystal cores of varying colors and sizes on the shelf. He figured they were expensive, so he decided to grab some essentials. He pushed the shopping cart and continued walking, scanning the shelves until the cart issued another shrill warning.

"Attention, attention, the score is zero."

The warning was still ringing in his ears, but Song Yuqing was pushed back to Master Fu's music scene by a mysterious force.

With a "click", the door latch was locked.

Song and Qing stood there in a daze. All this seemed too unreal.

In the basement, the music continued. Through the gaps in the front row, Song Yuqing saw Master Fu climbing onto the speakers at the side of the stage and singing loudly. The crowd erupted in enthusiastic applause once again.

Song Yuqing listened quietly for a while, with a slight smile on his lips. Mr. Fu's singing was quite nice, with a strong rhythm. Although the melody was simple, it was full of power and vitality.

"Wake up! Burn! I believe you can change this damn world!" The music continued, and Master Fu chanted loudly.

The colorful stage lights quietly went out, and the dazzling white light illuminated every corner of the basement in time.

Song Yuqing smelled a strong odor of sweat.

The crowd began to evacuate, lining up to squeeze out of the narrow entrance.

In just a moment of distraction, Song Yuqing lost sight of Master Fu. She went against the crowd and went to the back of the stage to look for Master Fu.

Behind the stage is an open space with several tables on which various musical instruments are placed.

Master Fu was sitting at the table, chatting with someone next to him.

"Didn't your old man forbid you from performing?"

"Yes, he said I wasn't doing my job properly. Well, this is the right job! Saving the spiritual world of mankind!" Master Fu cheered and waved his fist.

Song Yuqing tried to shout, "Master Fu!"

Master Fu and the people around him all looked at Song Yuqing with confused expressions.

"Who is that?"

"Do I know you, sister?" Master Fu tilted his head.

Song Yuqing twitched the corner of his mouth. Who should he call "big sister"?

Song Yuqing suppressed his dissatisfaction and asked politely, "I'd like to ask, what's the situation with that door under the stage?"

"What door? I don't know. Ask the person in charge of the venue." Master Fu picked up a towel and wiped the sweat off his face.

Song Yuqing felt a little embarrassed and didn't know how to continue the conversation.

"By the way, have you followed me all the way?" Master Fu looked at Song Yuqing, and the people around him started to make a fuss.

"Well……"

"You were sent by my father?" Master Fu's expression became serious. "Tell him that he can save his world and I can save mine."

When the people around heard what Master Fu said, they burst into laughter. Someone reached out and patted Master Fu on the shoulder, making fun of his immature behavior.

"You and your family are both heroes!"

Master Fu slapped the hand of the person who spoke away in dissatisfaction: "You know what, even though he and I don't get along, he really is a hero."

Song Yuqing raised his hand silently: "Are you talking about your father?"

"Yeah, what else?"

"Hey, don't you think your dad is crazy? He's yelling about the end of the world. Maybe he's read too many science fiction novels?" The person next to Master Fu joked.

The end of the world is coming? Hasn't the end of the world come yet? Song Yuqing frowned unconsciously.

"It's not your turn to speak!" Master Fu snorted coldly, stood up and walked out.

Song Yuqing hurriedly caught up with him. She reached out to grab Master Fu and wanted to ask him clearly, but the next second, she suddenly sat up from the bed.

Song Yuqing stared blankly at the room, the warm yellow light covering the entire room, reminding her that she had just had a long dream. Song Yuqing sat quietly for a while, trying to calm her thoughts.

Was it just a dream? But why did it feel so real?

Song Yuqing sighed lightly, stood up and walked out of the house.

In the God's Supermarket, there were only Liu Xiaona, Gaha, and Little Meat Bun. Song Yuqing began to wonder if even Zhang Yimiao's appearance was a dream.

Liu Xiaona was processing orders on the shopping website, while Gaha and Xiao Roubao were searching the shelves, sorting and packing items. They were so busy with their work that they barely noticed Song Yuqing coming out of the room.

"A new order?" Song Yuqing said slowly.

Liu Xiaona, Gaha and Xiao Roubao looked up at the same time and looked at Song Yuqing.

silence.

Suddenly cheers broke out.

"Song Yuqing, you finally woke up!"

Liu Xiaona, Gaha and Xiao Roubao rushed forward and hugged Song Yuqing.

"What? I just took a nap!"

"What nap?" Liu Xiaona complained, pouting. "You slept for two days and one night!"

Song Yuqing was stunned: "Has it been so long?"

"That's right! In the past two days, we have already completed the task of killing 3,000 zombies! We also helped Zhang Yimiao and the others clean the house next door."

"Gaha!" Gaha nodded vigorously.

Song Yuqing's soul gradually returned, and her brain began to work.

At a certain moment, Song Yuqing felt that all the tendons in his body were opened up, and he felt more refreshed.

Completed the task of killing 3,000 zombies ahead of schedule?

Great! Time to ask Master Fu for his reward!

Song Yuqing called out to Master Fu: "Master Fu! We completed our target date ahead of schedule. Is there a reward?"

"Hey, we asked Master Fu, and he said no, and that you've already spent all 3,000 points!"

"Me?" Song Yuqing pointed at herself with her index finger. Wasn't she sleeping? It wasn't like she had actually entered the parallel world to buy supplies.

Could it be that what I experienced before was not a dream?

"Yes, you were sleeping on the surface, and then secretly entered the parallel world?" Liu Xiaona scratched her head.

"Hey, Song Yuqing, what good stuff did you bring back this time?" Master Fu's voice appeared.

Song Yuqing:?

Did she really enter a parallel world? Was it in a dream?
