"Mr. Ji!"
Having no other option, Li Wei sent his team members to lead the survivors out, and then followed them.
When Li Wei reached the seventh floor, he was startled.
"this……"
"I guess the aftershocks just now shook the rubble apart." Jin Ze moved the easily movable rubble away.
"Yes." Li Wei's momentary daze was simply because he thought he had misread it.
He was distracted during a crucial task; he's getting old now.
"Sweet..."
"Sweet..."
"I am just..."
Ji Yuzhi carried stones and shouted into the endless pile of rocks.
"Stop shouting, save your energy." Jin Ze pressed Ji Yuzhi down.
“No, Sweetie will answer me if she hears my voice.” Ji Yuzhi shook his head and continued calling.
"But your voice doesn't sound like yours anymore, Sweetie can't tell the difference."
"No, she can."
Ji Yu shouted, "Sweetie... I'm Zhizhi..."
"Only one!"
Ji Yuzhi and Jin Ze both stood still.
...
"Sweetie! Sweetie, are you alright? Sweetie, answer me!" Yang Taosong began. The rocks that had surrounded her were very solid, so the aftershocks had not affected her.
But she didn't know about Tian Tian's side.
"I'm fine." Zhen Tian's voice was very soft, but Yang Tao heard it.
"It's good that you're alright." Yang Tao breathed a sigh of relief: "I wonder when this will end."
Zhen Tian nodded blankly: "Yes."
She stared at the space beneath the pillar. She knew she should pull her legs out, otherwise, if there were any aftershocks, she might be smashed back under the pillar.
But she didn't have the courage to face her own mangled, bloody legs beneath the pillar.
She didn't dare to take it out.
"I'm starving, I'm so carefree." Yang Tao teased Zhen Tian on purpose, even though Tian Tian said she was fine, she knew that things weren't going well for her.
"I'll take you out for something delicious when we get out," Sweetie replied cooperatively.
"Yeah, this time I'm going to spend all the money in my pocket on a big meal."
"Okay, spend it all."
"Buy clothes!"
"Buy a bag."
"Buy jewelry."
"Buy lipstick!"
The two chatted and joked, trying to relax by teasing each other.
"Sweet..."
Yang Tao fell silent. She pricked up her ears, a puzzled look on her face: "Did you hear anything?"
"No." Zhen Tian didn't tell Yang Tao that her vision was already blurry.
"Hey, that's weird, I think I heard a sound."
"Sweet..."
"Hey! I heard it again."
"I didn't." Zhen Tian shook her head.
Listen carefully.
Neither of them spoke.
"Sweetie...I'm Zhizhi..."
"Holy crap, am I hallucinating?" Yang Tao wanted to cry. She actually felt like she heard someone say that she was Zhizhi.
"It doesn't seem like I'm hallucinating..."
Zhen Tian finally smiled, but as she smiled, tears streamed down her face.
She shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Only one!"
...
Ji Yuzhi's face was filled with surprise: "Did someone call me?!"
Jin Ze nodded blankly.
"I didn't hear that?" Li Wei frowned.
"It must be Sweetie!"
Ji Yuzhi frantically moved the stones, shouting as he did so, "Sweetie, is that you?!"
"Sweet!"
Zhen Tian felt the voice becoming clearer and clearer.
"It looks like my idol, it really looks like my idol." Yang Tao cried, "Sweetie, my idol has come to save us."
"Only one! Only one!"
Zhen Tian choked up, unable to utter a sound. All her pent-up grievances burst forth at that moment.
"My idol, my idol, it's me, Yang Tao! Sweetie's here too! Come save us!"
Yang Tao's loud shout resonated in the ears of Ji Yuzhi, Jin Ze, and Li Wei.
"There really is someone!" Li Wei went crazy.
"Sweetie, don't be afraid, I'll get you out right away." Hearing the voice, Ji Yuzhi felt no pain anywhere. He quickly dug the tunnel, even finding the use of tools too troublesome.
He wore holes in his professional gloves, and in an instant, the gloves were stained with blood.
"Don't rush, keep your hands steady." Jin Ze took off his gloves and handed them to Ji Yuzhi: "Tian Tian is still alive, so you have to stay calm."
But Ji Yuzhi couldn't hear anything; all he could hear was the sound of sweet crying.
Seeing that he was ignoring him, Jin Ze simply picked up his tools and helped him.
But I also felt a huge sense of relief.
After digging the hole, they were surprised to find a hidden room inside, a shed supported by steel bars, which is why the people underneath were unharmed.
The three of them went in one by one.
The first thing you see is a star fruit surrounded by pebbles.
"My idol, it really is you!" Yang Tao broke down in tears: "Tian Tian is under the pillar, please go and save her."
With Jin Ze's help, Yang Tao stood up: "You go out first. Quickly."
"We must rescue Tiantian!" Yang Tao walked out of the newly dug hole without looking back; she knew that staying would only cause trouble.
Stepping out of the cave, her legs went weak and she knelt on the spot. Looking back at the place where she had been buried, she was extremely grateful that she was still alive.
Li Wei arranged for someone to take her to the doctor.
Then they went back into the cave.
"Sweetie." Ji Yuzhi was on the verge of collapse, facing a pillar that was estimated to weigh several tons. He shouted her name.
"Zhizhi, I'm here." A sweet voice with a hint of laughter came through: "You're not allowed to cry."
"Wait for me, I'll get you out right away."
Ji Yuzhi looked around, hoping to find something that could rescue Zhen Tian from under the pillar.
"Actually, I've already gotten out of the pillar." Zhen Tian stared at her bloodied and mangled leg, which seemed to be in great pain, but her heart was calm.
Ji Yuzhi paused for a second, then flipped over to the other side of the pillar without hesitation.
That familiar little face came into view, and even though it was covered in dust and blood, he seemed reborn. Overwhelmed with joy and relief.
He reached out his trembling hand to her, took a deep breath, and said in a trembling voice, "I've come to take you home."
Zhen Tian's eyes welled up with tears in an instant: "I knew you would come to save me."
Ji Yuzhi's eyes drifted to her legs, and the sight of her tragic condition shook his heart.
"Don't look." Zhen Tian blocked his view. "I'm not in pain, and you shouldn't be in pain either."
Ji Yuzhi bit his lower lip and picked Zhen Tian up.
"Jin Ze!"
He couldn't carry Zhen Tian over the pillar, so he had Jin Ze stand on it. He handed her to Jin Ze, who then handed her to Li Wei below the pillar.
It took three hands to safely move Zhen Tian out of the pillar.
Once they were out of the cave, Jin Zecai saw his sister's legs.
Even he, who had always fought for his life under gunfire, couldn't help but feel his eyes turn red.
"Give it to me." Ji Yuzhi took Zhen Tian from Li Wei's hands and carefully cradled her in his arms.
"We're safe." Zhen Tian smiled at him.
"Yes, it's safe now."
Ji Yuzhi's eyes were filled with heartache.
"While I was waiting inside, I was thinking that you would appear in front of me like a hero, just like you are now."
