Ye Qingyan enthusiastically pulled Zhen Tian along to show her the things she had bought.
Some of them were for starfruit.
She sighed, "I'll have to give Taozi a good talking to when she gets back. I wonder how things are going for her."
Because of the circumstances surrounding her arrival, she would be distressed if Yang Tao were to get injured during the interview.
Knowing that there were peaches inside, Zhen Tian understood that Ye Qingyan was still feeling guilty and was using these things to make up for it.
"Why don't you just make a phone call and find out?" Zhen Tian said.
"That's true." Ye Qingyan dialed the number, but the call didn't go through for a long time.
"Won't something bad happen?" Ye Qingyan felt like she was worrying so much that she was turning into an old lady.

Lu Ti glanced around and said, "You've been wasting money again."

"You silly child." Lu Ti ruffled her hair. "Just you wait."
She had confirmed with Zhen Yan that bone broth was indeed very nourishing. So Lu Ti made pork bone broth for lunch, but it was devoured by the children.
Ye Qingyan tidied up the trash and threw it outside the door.
Then they put the food in Zhen Tian's snack room, and the bags, necklaces, clothes and the like in Zhen Tian's bedroom walk-in closet.
It took half an hour to get everything done.
Yang Tao also called back.
"What's wrong, ladies?" She appeared on camera looking disheveled.
"What happened to you? Your face is covered in dust." Ye Qingyan leaned closer to the camera, thinking it was a problem with the lens.
"It's nothing, the bulldozer just spilled some gravel because it didn't catch it properly," Yang Tao coughed twice.
"Are you alright?" Zhen Tian asked hurriedly.
"No, no, it was spilled far away from me, but it still got all over my face." Yang Tao didn't seem to mind. "Missed me?"
"Yes, I miss you." Ye Qingyan glared at her: "If you hadn't insisted on going, it would be so much better if you were playing with us now."
"Even if I don't go, I'll still go back to work," Yang Tao said with a grin.
"Well, what can I say now that I've already gone?"
Ye Qingyan disappeared.
Yang Tao craned her neck to look, but when she realized that she couldn't see what the other person was doing even with her neck craned, she blushed at her stupid action.
"How about you? Have you gone for a follow-up checkup?" Yang Tao asked Zhen Tian.
"You've only been back a few days, why are you having a check-up?" Zhen Tian said with a smile. "It's not like other places over there, remember safety first."
Yang Tao made an OK sign.
Just as she finished gesturing, Ye Qingyan came over carrying a large pile of things: "Let me tell you, you have to come back unharmed. If you get even the slightest injury, I'll give you one less gift."
Yang Tao looked at the huge bunch, which included handbags, jewelry, and cosmetics.
She practically wanted to glue her eyes to the camera lens.
"Isn't that the bandage cream I wanted to buy? And the little leather bag from D brand. Waaah...it's so pretty." She had already decided while she and Zhen Tian were trapped underneath her that she would spend all her money and buy everything she liked once she got out. Otherwise, she didn't know if she'd even have the life to spend it again.
Unexpectedly, someone else had already bought it for her.
"Hmm." Ye Qingyan gave a haughty snort.
"Several thousand yuan worth of this face cream... I'm crying." Yang Tao pretended to wipe away tears. "Are all of these mine?"
"Yes, it's all yours." Ye Qingyan deliberately mocked her: "It's just a little bit of stuff, and you're already so greedy. You haven't seen how expensive the things I bought for Tian Tian are."
