Han Yao got up from the bed, straightened his wrinkled army green T-shirt, and said, "You had a nightmare last night."

Xiao Wen Ning tried hard to recall, his face filled with regret: "So you are the piece of wood floating in the vast ocean."

Seeing that he looked like he had turned his back on him, Han Yao casually pulled out a recorder. Xiao Wen Ning's eyes widened: "How come you have everything?"

Han Yao raised his eyebrows and clicked the play button. Xiao Wen Ning pricked up his ears and listened carefully. The cat-like pleading sounds coming from it made people feel very pitiful.

Xiao Wen Ning pointed at the tip of his nose and asked, "Is this me?"

Han Yao thought he would be embarrassed, so he nodded in a good mood: "Yes."

Xiao Wen Ning glanced at Han Yao's lower body with an expression that was beyond words: "My voice is so alluring, and you didn't... execute me right here?"

“…”

After resting for about half a month, Xiao Wen Ning's injured leg was finally able to land. He put aside the wooden crutches made by Han Yao and tried to walk two steps. Although there was still some pain, it was basically harmless.

He walked towards Han Yao steadily, his body straight and his temperament outstanding. After he stood firm, he patted his injured leg and grinned, "Brother, your leg is healed. Let's go out and celebrate today?"

Han Yao had already accepted his face and personality, nodded in agreement and said, "Okay."

Xiao Wen Ning had been cooped up for over a month, and finally had the chance to go out for some fresh air. He went to his room, changed his clothes, and then said to Han Yao, "Let's go."

Han Yao followed behind him and saw that he was wearing a suit and tie, which seemed a bit out of place.

Xiao Wen Ning was the first to go out. Although his legs were still in pain, he still walked straight. He took the key and opened the door of the garage. A dusty white sports car was parked inside. Xiao Wen Ning pulled the car door shut with a "bang", and dust flew up instantly.

Han Yao twitched the corners of his mouth in disgust. When Xiao Wen Ning drove up to him with a car full of dust, he opened the door and got in.

They sped all the way to the restaurant Xiao Wen Ning had booked in advance.

He seemed to be a regular here. When the waiter saw him come in, he greeted him with a smile without waiting for him to speak, and took them to the private room they often visited.

After taking their seats, Xiao Wen Ning ordered a few dishes and a few bottles of wine. Han Yao's eyebrows jumped, knowing that he was planning to have sex after drinking.

After a short wait, the waiter brought a few bottles of wine to the table. Xiao Wen Ning picked up the glass and filled it up for him: "Can I drink?"

Han Yao took it without hesitation: "No problem."

Xiao Wen Ning considered himself a heavy drinker, able to drink a thousand cups without getting drunk. After a few clinks with Han Yao, he discovered that Han Yao's alcohol tolerance was also not to be underestimated. Master Xiao frowned, his plan failing. "I originally wanted to get you drunk and try to see if drunken sex is real."

Han Yao raised his eyebrows and smiled: "Then you may be disappointed."

The two of them were eating and chatting in a harmonious atmosphere. After a while, there were a few knocks on the door. Xiao Wen Ning winked at Han Yao ambiguously and said, "Come in."

The man came with a large bouquet of flowers and walked directly to Han Yao. He then handed the flowers to him. Han Yao looked at the flowers and asked in confusion, "What does this mean?"

Xiao Wen Ning smiled proudly: "Chasing you."

"I'm a girl?"

"You don't understand, don't you? There's no gender distinction when it comes to giving flowers. Besides, even tigers sniff roses. Can't you smell a rose?"

Han Yao put the flowers aside: "You have chased a lot of people, right?"

Xiao Wen Ning said proudly, "It's always been others who chased me, so why should I chase others?"

Han Yao asked bluntly: "Then why are you chasing me?"

Xiao Wen Ning answered decisively: "Because I like you."

Han Yao nodded, accepting his reason. The two of them changed the topic and talked about other things. Xiao Wen Ning was determined to compete with Han Yao, but Han Yao turned out to be more skilled.

After a few bottles of wine, Han Yao remained calm, but Young Master Xiao was so drunk that he couldn't tell east from west.

He dragged the chair towards Han Yao with the cup in hand, then raised his chin and asked him drunkenly, "Why aren't you drunk yet?"

Han Yao calmly continued to pour himself a drink. He looked at Xiao Wen Ning's hazy eyes, and when he was sure that he was really drunk, he asked, "Xiao Wen Ning, why are you chasing me?"

Master Xiao curved his eyes and said vaguely: "Of course it's because I like you..."

Han Yao took a sip of wine and suddenly asked a completely unrelated question: "What is your purpose in looking for me?"

Xiao Wen Ning's drunken mind was a bit confused. He was blank for a long time before he slowly said, "Purpose, I...what purpose could I have? You're the bodyguard I hired...of course it's to protect me." Then he slid closer to him, looking at him with a silly smile, "But I really didn't expect that Mr. Han would be so handsome."

Han Yao played with the wine glass in his hand and continued to drink slowly. He didn't seem surprised at all by Xiao Wen Ning's sudden change of address.
