Seeing Han Yao speechless, Xiao Wen Ning laughed twice, "Just kidding." He lowered his eyes and prepared to lie down for a while, but suddenly noticed his pajamas. He paused for a few seconds, looked up at Han Yao and said, "Thank you."
Han Yao nodded in acceptance. He sat down and dug out his medicine box. He took out a bottle of medicinal oil and threw it on the bed: "Your head."
When Xiao Wen Ning got up, he felt a splitting headache. He thought it was the pain caused by a hangover. He took the medicated oil and touched it, only to find a big swelling on his forehead. He took a breath and rubbed it gently twice.
After a few drinks, they both woke up injured. Xiao Wen Ning's legs were back in shape, so he stopped ordering takeout. But after a few days of eating bland, plain noodles, Xiao Wen Ning couldn't resist and dragged Han Yao to the supermarket to buy some fresh produce. Back home, Xiao Wen Ning threatened to show off his skills, then shut the door and told Han Yao to wait for news.
After a while, Xiao Wen Ning brought out several plates of dark, nameless home-cooked dishes from the smoky kitchen.
Han Yao picked up a piece of burnt meat, examined it carefully, and finally said with some fear for his life: "Let's order takeout."
Xiao Wen Ning was quite modest: "Try it and see if there's anything wrong so I can improve it."
Seeing that he looked eager to learn and make progress, Han Yao thought for a moment, then held his breath and swallowed the piece of meat.
Xiao Wen Ning's face was full of confidence: "How is it?"
Han Yao put down his chopsticks and said, "Let's go back to the furnace and start over."
Xiao Wen Ning didn't believe it, so he picked up the chopsticks and took a bite, then took out his cell phone and called for food delivery.
The next day, before dawn, Xiao Wen Ning had already gotten up and dressed. Han Yao didn't ask him what he was going to do, but followed him out very professionally.
As winter approaches, the roadsides are covered with withered and yellow leaves. I thought there was no life left in this life, but as the north wind blows, the leaves fly all over the sky and are lucky enough to travel around in the air.
Xiao Wen Ning was quite silent today, with a cold expression, which finally made people feel that his body and soul had matched and become the original and authentic version.
After driving for three hours, they arrived at the cemetery. Xiao Wenning bought a bunch of white chrysanthemums from the foot of the mountain and walked up. The weather was neither good nor bad. The sun was hiding under the clouds, shining through but not showing its face.
After walking in silence all the way, they finally arrived in front of a stone tablet. Han Yao looked at the photo on it and knew the identity of the tomb owner.
Xiao Wen Ning placed the flowers in front of the stele, bowed, and then said, "Twenty-eight years have passed. You've been reincarnated and are about to start elementary school. Last time I dreamed, I saw you transformed into a beautiful little girl. I have to warn you, little girl, to protect yourself. Don't just follow any strange uncles or aunties you meet on the road. If a little boy your age pulls your braids and lifts your skirt, don't show mercy. Scratch his face first, then turn around and kick him in the ass. Don't be too hard, or you'll end up with no descendants and be taken as a child bride. It's hard to explain."
"I've taught you this much this year, and will continue next year. You should live a good life in another world. I'll come back next year to celebrate your birthday." He said to himself and turned to look at Han Yao who was standing behind him.
After careful consideration, the sun finally emerged from under the clouds. A few seconds later, golden light exploded, spreading all over the ground and covering the entire body.
Xiao Wen Ning grinned at Han Yao, then raised his hand as if introducing someone, and said, "My mother."
Han Yao nodded: "You look alike."
Xiao Wen Ning was a little surprised. He looked back at the photo and then asked happily, "Really?"
"Um."
"This is the first time I've heard something like this." He asked curiously, "If we walk down the street together, will anyone recognize us as mother and son?"
Han Yao took a few steps forward, facing the stone tablet side by side with him. He carefully examined the photo and thought for a moment: "You should look like siblings."
Xiao Wen Ning raised his eyebrows and smiled: "I didn't expect you to be so good at talking."
Han Yao answered honestly: "Ms. Ye is beautiful."
Xiao Wen Ning put his hands in his coat pockets and nudged Han Yao's body. He asked casually with a smile, "What about me?"
"you?"
"Yeah, what do I look like?"
Han Yao looked down at him, his eyes open and sincere. After a few seconds, he commented seriously, "It's pretty good too."
