The originally promised dinner was changed to a private restaurant near the community because we didn’t drive.

Han Yao was not picky and ordered a few dishes at random to make up for the meal he missed in the morning.

Although the shop wasn't crowded, it was beautifully decorated and stylish. Next to the modern, solid-wood wine cabinet stood a small fireplace inlaid with European-style carvings. In front of the fireplace stood a two-meter-tall Christmas tree, adorned with beautiful gift boxes and dotted with decorative ornaments. Xiao Wenning took a bite of food and stuffed it into his mouth. After swallowing it, he suddenly called out, "Han Yao."

Han Yao asked, "What's wrong?"

Xiao Wen Ning blinked at him twice and said mysteriously, "How about your employer taking you on a trip at public expense?"

After Han Yao heard what he said, he answered without thinking, "Okay."

After lunch, Xiao Wen Ning returned along the same route, looked at the plane ticket, and booked the nearest flight.

Han Yao's luggage was simple, and Xiao Wen Ning didn't have much to bring either. He took out his ID, dragged his luggage, and headed straight to the airport.

An hour later, Xiao Wen Ning came back to reality after listening to the flight attendant's announcement. He wrapped himself in a blanket and rubbed against Han Yao, his eyes open, not knowing what he was thinking.

Han Yao adjusted his position so that his pillow was a little more comfortable, then raised his hand to help him put on the eye mask and said, "Go to sleep."

After flying for more than ten hours, they finally landed. The two left the airport and took a taxi to the booked hotel. Xiao Wen Ning checked in with his ID and pushed open the door. An obvious couple-themed suite came into view.

Han Yao raised his eyebrows, opened his backpack and prepared to take out his sleeping bag, but the sleeping bag that was originally placed at the bottom had been replaced at some point.

Xiao Wen Ning sat down on the bed and pretended to look around.

Han Yao pulled out the blanket from home and asked him, "What is this?"

Xiao Wen Ning answered innocently, "A blanket."

"Where's my sleeping bag?"

"Hidden."

"Where do I sleep then?"

Xiao Wen Ning raised his hand to pat the petals off the bed and blinked at him twice: "How about we just make do with this for now."

Seeing his triumphant look, Han Yao raised the corners of his mouth and agreed generously.

The place Xiao Wen Ning randomly chose was not a famous tourist city, but the warm European town still made people feel the exotic romance and surprises.

There are still two or three days before Christmas, and the local streets and alleys are already filled with a strong festive atmosphere. Star-like lights are hung all over the streets and alleys, and the roadside shops are also decorated with various Christmas items.

Xiao Wen Ning stopped at a small shop and bought two hot drinks, handing one to Han Yao. He casually put his other hand into Han Yao's pocket, hooked his finger around his, and said, "There seems to be a ski resort nearby. Let's go together tomorrow."

Han Yao took a sip of coffee and asked him, "Can you?"

Young Master Xiao said confidently: "No."

Han Yao smiled and said, "Aren't you afraid of falling?"

Xiao Wen Ning scratched his palm twice with the hand in his pocket: "Don't be afraid, you will definitely support me."

"You trust me so much?"

"You are my bodyguard. If you don't support me, then I will... deduct your salary."

Han Yao laughed heartily and then walked along the street with him until there were more and more passers-by and they unknowingly walked to the central square of the city.

A classical architectural complex steeped in local culture, a Christmas tree several dozen meters tall towered into the night sky, and a massive clock chimed with ethereal beauty with each passing moment. A staff member dressed as Santa Claus approached them, smiling and speaking the local language. Xiao Wenning, always aloof towards outsiders, politely responded, reaching into Han Yao's pocket and accepting a delicate artifact and a red Santa hat.

After nodding and saying goodbye, Xiao Wen Ning's hands were full. He held a hot drink in one hand and a gift in the other, and looked up at Han Yao with a smile.

Han Yao smiled, then took his cup and leaned slightly towards him.

Xiao Wen Ning grinned and put the hat on his head.

As the hour approached, the bell rang melodiously. Han Yao looked up at him with two cups in hand and asked, "Is he handsome?"

Xiao Wen Ning looked him in the eye, his eyes sparkling with stars: "Very handsome."

The bells stopped ringing, their beautiful echoes lingering in the night sky. The crowd in the square gradually dispersed, preparing to welcome the upcoming grand festival. Han Yao looked into his rare clear eyes and asked, "Xiao Wen Ning, we..." Before he could finish his words, a finger gently pressed against his lips.

Xiao Wenning looked at him quietly for a few seconds, then said to him with squinting eyes, "Let's date."

"Han Yao, let's date."
