Chapter 47: Phantom Sword

Time flies so fast. It has been nearly a month since Barbara left here.

During this period, Fern made great progress through hard training and full dedication, and was recognized by his master.

Fern insists on high-intensity training every day. Under high pressure, he practices magic hard during the day and concentrates on studying technology at night. This is Fern's daily life trajectory. Sometimes, in order to practice with more people, he will even shorten his meal time just to be able to learn magic better.

On a sunny morning, Fern started his morning exercise as usual. A new day began. Now Fern didn't know that today was a very special day.

After morning exercise, Fern hurried to have breakfast with his senior brother. The weather outside was really good. Fern thought that the weather was so good today and his mood was also very good. The sky was always cloudy in the past few days, which made people feel a little uncomfortable. Seeing the good weather, his mood was naturally good.

We are all here at the venue, waiting for the master's arrival. Today we are going to learn new spells, and the master will come to teach us personally. I haven't seen the master for many days, and I still miss him a little. I am looking forward to his arrival.

Everyone was waiting anxiously, and Fern was also looking forward to what spell he would learn today, and was a little excited.

Now for Fern, it can be said that more skills are always better. He always wants to learn more things to constantly enrich himself and become stronger.

Maybe only in this way can we think of a way to awaken Mo Kexuan faster! Fern never gave up. No matter how hard or tired he was, he would study hard. Every time he encountered something new or learned a new spell, Fern would work especially hard to learn and absorb it quickly.

During this period, Fern summed up a lot of learning methods and experiences, which he constantly honed in his daily life. In order to learn spells more effectively, Fern summed up some experiences to help himself learn.

Deep in Fern's heart, he is deeply grateful to his master. He is fortunate to be a disciple here and learn more spells under the guidance of his master to continuously strengthen himself.

I am also very grateful to Master for giving me this opportunity. If Master hadn’t given me the opportunity to learn, I really don’t know what I would be like now, or where I would be…

Since Fern came here, he has received a lot of help from his senior brothers. In Fern's eyes, these disciples are like his own brothers. They help each other, share difficulties and happiness. The days with them are very happy, and the biggest gain is that he has learned a lot of spells.

While waiting for his master, Fern chatted with a fellow student next to him.

When talking about why they came here to learn magic, another senior brother said, "I have been here for two years." After saying that, a smile appeared on his face.

Fern was surprised to find that his senior brother had been here for such a long time, but he still insisted on practicing more spells. Fern said, "I admire you, I admire you!"

The time spent talking always passed quickly, and it didn't feel like time was passing so slowly. The two chatted and got along very well! About half an hour later, the figure of the master finally appeared. Looking at the master coming over, Fern cheered up and prepared to face the new training.

Seeing the serious look on his master's face, Fern had a bad feeling. It might be that the spell he was going to cast would be very difficult. Fern was still in deep thought...

The master spoke up and said, "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for so long. The next practice will test your patience. Please stay calm and practice well!"

The disciples said in unison: "Got it!"

The following exercises are indeed somewhat difficult, and are a great test of one's willpower, flexibility, and patience. Every disciple here feels that this training is different from usual ones, but they can't tell exactly where the difference is.

Fern watched his master's every move carefully, followed his master's steps attentively, and practiced bit by bit.

Fern had no distracting thoughts in his mind. He just wanted to learn well. As long as it was taught by his master, there must be a reason for his teaching, and it would definitely come in handy in his future practice.

Fern studied every detail carefully. Although it was a little difficult, Fern had a good attitude and tried his best to do his best every time.

Even though he cannot do it now, Fern will try to do it. When he practices, he will know clearly how to complete it better and faster.

The disciples were deeply moved by the Master's painstaking teaching. The Master repeatedly performed difficult movements just to teach the disciples...

Seeing how hard the master worked, the disciples felt that if they did not learn well, the first person they would feel sorry for would be the master. Everyone mustered up their courage and practiced diligently. Likewise, the master felt very comfortable seeing how hard everyone was working.

Time passed so quickly, and the morning was over soon. At lunch, everyone ate a lot, probably because they had exerted a lot of physical energy in the morning.

Everyone ate with gusto. After the meal, it was time for lunch and the disciples returned to their dormitories.

Although the lunch break was short, Fern felt so comfortable when he was lying on the bed. After a morning of training, he felt a little tired. Fern fell asleep quickly in bed...

After lunch break, everyone gathered again. The afternoon time was spent on individual practice. The master did not come to supervise. With the master, he always looked at the results, not the process.

The process is important, but everyone has their own method. As long as the result is good, it means that the person has practiced hard.

Just as the afternoon was halfway through, Fern, who was concentrating on practicing, received a message from his master's guards, saying that his master was looking for him, but did not say why.

After receiving the notice, Fern tidied his clothes, washed his face with sweat, and then went to his master's hall.

As he walked along the way, Fern kept thinking about what his master wanted to talk to him about. He couldn't figure it out, and he was a little nervous when he saw that he was about to arrive...

He was about to enter the hall. His master must be waiting for him. Standing at the door, Fern took a deep breath nervously, adjusted his mood, then raised his hand and knocked on the door gently.

Soon the master's voice came from the room, and the master said, "Come in!"

Fern walked into the hall and looked at the master who was sitting in his original position with a serious look. Fern thought he had done something wrong.

The master said seriously, "Don't be nervous. I asked you to come here today because there is something very important!"

After hearing what the master said, Fern felt relieved a little. Then he said to the master, "Master, please speak. I will listen attentively!"

The serious master smiled and said, "Through my observation of you during this period, I can see that you have grown very fast and have a strong learning ability. Since you learned the flying sword spell, do you still have a sword that truly belongs to you? Today, I will give you a sword that belongs to you exclusively!"

When Fern heard that he could have a sword of his own, he was very excited. He didn't expect that he could have something of his own here.

Fern was so excited that he could hardly control himself. Happiness came too suddenly. Before he had time to prepare, such a big surprise fell upon him.

At first, Fern couldn't believe his ears. It turned out that true happiness never came suddenly. It came to him slowly without any excessive reminders.

Fern responded excitedly, "Thank you, Master."

The master looked at the excited Fern and said, "Don't be proud, keep working hard. I have seen all your efforts during this period. Opportunities always come to those who are prepared. Come on!"

Fern looked at the master and said, "Yes, I will continue to work hard. It is you who gave me the opportunity to learn magic. I will practice hard and will not let you down. Thank you for the promotion, Master!"

Fern just kowtowed to his master to express his gratitude and respect for him.

Looking at the Master's kind face, Fern felt warm in his heart. The Master had helped him so much, and he would definitely repay the Master in the future.

After a while, the master took out the sword and presented it to Fern. It was so dazzling and emitting light that Fern's eyes widened. This was the first time that Fern used such a good sword, and it would be his own sword.

Excited Fern didn't know what to do. He looked at the sword and started to speak incoherently. He was very excited...

When the master saw Fern’s ecstatic look, he felt relieved. It was a reward for Fern’s hard training. In the master’s opinion, Fern deserved a sword of his own!

In his heart, Fern still didn't believe that the sword was his. Looking at his master's affirmative eyes, Fern's heart was filled with excitement.

The master picked up the sword, looked at Fern for confirmation, and then handed the sword to Fern. Fern took the sword with both hands. When the sword was in his hands, the feeling in Fern's heart was really indescribable.

Fern thanked Master again, told Master about his feelings, and promised that he would never let Master down. He would work hard to achieve greater success and live up to Master's expectations!

After leaving, Fern was immersed in joy all the way, holding his sword tightly. Fern had been thinking about one question, which was to give the sword a name. Fern thought all the way but couldn't find a suitable name.

Fern put his personal sword back in the dormitory and continued to practice. Fern felt relieved when he came to the practice field again. He felt that training was not tiring at all. It was really a psychological effect! At night, Fern lay in bed and thought of many names. Finally, he decided to name his precious sword Phantom Sword. The reason why Fern named it Phantom Sword was to remind himself that this sword was like the shadow of his beloved Mo Kexuan.

I hope that the Phantom Sword will always be by my side in the future. I will always treat everything with care, live well, practice well, and make adequate preparations for awakening Mo Kexuan.
