Little did Yue Jiuyue know that Liu had put the cooked sparrows into a basin and then placed it on the ground. When Yue Jiuyue wasn't looking, Xiaoman took one and started eating it. Her big eyes narrowed as she ate it. Then, her big eyes darted around and she picked up another one and ran straight outside. Liu didn't even realize that her daughter was missing.
"Xiaoman, is this for me?"
Yue Jiuyue was extremely surprised. Wasn't Xiaoman afraid of her?
Xiaoman grinned and nodded at Yue Jiuyue, giving a soft "hmm," while also stuffing another sparrow into her mouth.
Yue Jiuyue happily accepted the sparrow Xiaoman gave her and took a small bite.
I must say, it's been a long time since I've had meat, and this sparrow is really delicious!
Yue Jiuyue couldn't resist, and quickly finished the little sparrow.
Yue Jiuyue took out a handkerchief from her sleeve to wipe her mouth, then sat there watching Xiaoman struggle to bite the sparrow. She tried very hard, but just couldn't get it off, which made Yue Jiuyue laugh.

Don't say I didn't say it. If I really wanted to sell Xiaoman, would you still be watching her right now? Don't you have a brain?! If you don't want to live like this anymore, go back to your parents' house!
Yue Jiuyue was spitting as she spoke, which showed how angry she was.
Instead of enjoying a peaceful life, she's always looking for trouble. Her mother-in-law hasn't even bothered Liu Shi, yet Liu Shi is constantly making things difficult for her. She's really giving her face!
