Chapter 2 Brawl in the Bridal Chamber
Tuantuan is Cui Ying's childhood name.
But she never liked this nickname, which sounded round and chubby, so she strictly forbade anyone from calling her Tuantuan, not even her parents or grandmother.
In her eyes, anyone who calls her Tuantuan is launching a war against her!
So when she heard the name "Tuantuan," she didn't pay any attention to what nonsense Xiao Qiyu said afterward. Her almond-shaped eyes narrowed, her face hardened, and she raised her fair, white hand to slap Xiao Qiyu's handsome face, saying fiercely, "What did you just call me?"
Xiao Qiyu received a crisp slap, and strands of her ponytail flew up to her chest. However, what she subconsciously felt was not pain, but the fragrance of the girl's slap.
He turned his head, looked up at Cui Ying, his beautiful eyebrows raised, his phoenix eyes full of malicious provocation, and said, word by word, "Cui, Tuan, Tuan".
With a "smack," another slap landed.
"Say it again."
“Cui Tuantuan.”
"Smack—"
"Cui Tuantuan!"
"Smack!"
Just as the fifth slap was about to land, Xiao Qiyu could no longer bear it. He stood up and approached, his voice cold and deep: "Cui Ying, are you ever going to stop?"
He was a head and a half taller than Cui Ying. Although his waist was narrow and thin, his shoulders were twice as wide as hers. Especially since he had been training in the military camp since he was nine years old, he had developed an imposing aura at a young age. When he looked at people coldly, the intense pressure was overwhelming, and his eyes were filled with a fierce rage.
Anyone would be afraid of Xiao Qiyu if they saw him.
But Cui Ying was not afraid.
"Why didn't you just call me by my full name earlier?" Cui Ying looked up at Xiao Qiyu with a sweet and gentle smile, completely different from the fierce look she had when she slapped him earlier.
She even raised her hand and patted Xiao Qiyu's head, smiling brightly: "If you really don't want to call me by my full name in the future, you can call me Grandma."
In the flickering light of the dragon and phoenix wedding candles, the girl's amber eyes shone brightly, as if they held a sky full of stars. Her bright red wedding dress made her already fair skin appear even more like white jade, delicate and smooth like a sweet, tender pear.
The small hand on his head was soft and supple, but Xiao Qiyu felt an inexplicable sense of awkward shame, as if Cui Ying's touch was clearly that of a dog.
He impatiently turned his face away, avoiding the hand: "Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and untie the chains on me."
Cui Ying blinked: "What if I don't understand?"
Xiao Qiyu sneered: "Don't understand? If you don't understand, let's just stay here until dawn. Can you open this door yourself?"
After glancing at the tightly closed door, Cui Ying immediately calmed down.
On their wedding night, the bride slapped the groom, who was bound by chains. Although she had never been married and didn't know what a normal wedding night was like, she knew that what they were doing was definitely not normal.
She didn't want to marry Xiao Qiyu, and Xiao Qiyu didn't want to marry her either. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been tied up and stuffed into the bridal chamber. The people who tied him up knew that ordinary ropes couldn't restrain this kid, so they specially used iron chains used to apprehend criminals.
But what if he seeks revenge for those slaps if the problem is solved?
This guy is always very vengeful, just like her.
Cui Ying squinted at Xiao Qiyu with her almond-shaped eyes, her expression seemingly profound and unfathomable, but her true thoughts were written all over her face.
Xiao Qiyu frowned, his narrow phoenix eyes full of mockery: "With the situation so dire, do you think I have the time to deal with you?"
Cui Ying agreed.
She lowered her eyes and began to study how to untie the chains.
I must say, it looks pretty good tied up.
The tightness of the dress not only revealed the lines of Xiao Qiyu's waist and abdominal muscles, but also highlighted the shape of her bulging arms. The wide and gorgeous wedding dress became nothing more than an accessory to her figure, and the loose hem further accentuated the hotness of her upper body.
Wow, you're an expert.
"You know what, this chain actually suits you quite well."
The iron chain was hard and cold. Cui Ying's hand, which had just finished slapping him, was still numb and hot. It felt cool and comfortable to hold.
"A dog chained on a leash lasts forever," she said smugly.
Xiao Qiyu remained silent, the veins on the side of his neck bulging into a restrained arc.
The chains were hard to break free from but not hard to untie. Based on Cui Ying's past experience of being tied up after getting into trouble, he quickly found the trick.
With a crisp sound, the iron chain fell to the ground.
Cui Ying clapped her hands, intending to make a graceful exit, when a tall figure suddenly approached her, the slanting shadow covering her slender body.
Sensing danger, Cui Ying's almond-shaped eyes widened into rabbit-like eyes, and she instinctively took a step back, asking, "What are you doing?"
Xiao Qiyu moved his long-stiff wrists. His hands were narrow and slender, with fair and smooth skin, giving him a pampered and comfortable appearance. However, his fingertips were rough, covered with calluses from years of martial arts training.
He lowered his eyes, his dark, gloomy pupils fixed on her, and coldly asked, "Did you enjoy hitting me just now?"
Cui Ying immediately sensed something was wrong and thought to himself: Oh no, this kid has tricked me.
She blinked, her eyes darting around, and pointed behind Xiao Qiyu, saying, "Look! The door's open!"
He took off running.
But before she could take even half a step, Xiao Qiyu grabbed her by the back of her collar and pulled her back, leaving her like a little rabbit with its ears being grabbed, completely unable to resist.
Xiao Qiyu: "Oh, why can't you move now? Where did that fierce, menacing look go?"
Cui Ying raised her hands and thrashed weakly at him: "I'm warning you, don't touch me! I... I have plenty of strength and methods!"
Xiao Qiyu scoffed lightly, finding it too much trouble to look down when talking to her, so he simply put one arm around her waist and helped her sit on the mahogany round table, where the two were finally able to look at each other.
Being too close, Xiao Qiyu's aura enveloped Cui Ying.
He didn't have the airs of a nobleman's son, didn't like to use expensive perfumes to scent his clothes, and always had a faint scent of soapberry on him.
"Come, let me see what kind of strength and methods you have." Xiao Qiyu chuckled, his phoenix eyes curving into a strange arc, his breath hot and restless, full of youthful energy.
The hairpins piled on her cloud-like hair jingled, and the shimmering jewels danced on Cui Ying's cheeks. Her face, powdered and delicate, was charming and alluring, and her almond-shaped eyes were clear and flawless, glistening with a layer of crystalline light.
She blinked, her expression innocent and pure, then grabbed Xiao Qiyu's hand that was resting on her waist and bit down on it.
Xiao Qiyu felt a sharp pain, and a vein throbbed on his forehead.
"Cui Ying, are you a dog? Let me go!"
He flew into a rage, his eyes blazing like two flames, and forcefully pulled his hand out of her rosy, full cherry-like mouth, grabbing her chin with his other hand.
Cui Ying frowned, her long eyelashes fluttering rapidly, and she tried to pull his hand away forcefully: "Xiao Qiyu, you mad dog, you're hurting me!"
"You're the dog! It's not your turn to bite me now, what are you barking about!"
As if affected by the couple's quarrel, the dragon and phoenix wedding candles seemed to leap up, casting flickering light and shadow on the crimson window screen.
Outside the bridal chamber, two old women quietly approached, listening carefully to the sounds inside.
The moment the two pressed their ears together, they heard a pitiful cry from inside: "It hurts! Xiao Qiyu, let me go!"
Then came the boy's deep, fierce voice: "Now you know what pain is? You brought this on yourself, just bear with it!"
The two old women exchanged a glance, their faces lighting up with joy.
At this moment, a painful groan was heard from the boy, and he squeezed out the words through trembling teeth: "Here... Cui Ying, how dare you?"
The old woman covered her mouth and chuckled, "As expected of Miss Cui the Third, truly extraordinary!"
Another nanny laughed, "Let's hurry back and congratulate the old lady. By this time next year, she might already be holding her great-grandchild!"
The two were overjoyed and tiptoed away.
Little did they know what kind of fierce battle was raging inside the bridal chamber.
The beads of sweat on Xiao Qiyu's face glistened, flowing down his profile to his Adam's apple, then seeping into his collar and sliding into his collarbone as his Adam's apple moved.
He glared at Cui Ying through gritted teeth, his eyes so fierce it seemed he wanted to skin her alive, but his legs were stuck together, unable to move, his hands tightly covering his crotch...
Cui Ying jumped off the table, her delicate eyebrows raised high, the red pinch marks on her cheeks still visible, looking like she had applied two patches of rouge: "Who told you to hurt me? You deserve it."
She didn't do anything special, just used the same trick again to kick Xiao Qiyu, but this time it was such a coincidence that she kicked his genitals.
Xiao Qiyu stared intently at Cui Ying, his dark eyes blazing with fury, his words succinctly spoken as if they could draw blood: "Cui Ying, you just wait, I'll definitely make you..."
It hurts so much.
He was in so much pain that he couldn't even utter a harsh word.
He had never experienced such pain before; it was worse than death, and he felt he would rather be skinned alive with a knife.
The lamplight illuminated the coldness in Xiao Qiyu's eyes. Cui Ying's long eyelashes trembled, and she realized that she had gone too far. What if she kicked him so badly that he would be childless? How could she explain this to the Xiao family?
Cui Ying's gloating expression gradually faded. Then, seeing Xiao Qiyu leaning on the table and walking towards him, he immediately realized that disaster was imminent and turned to run away.
The sound of jewels clashing was deafening, and the exquisite hairpins and ornaments on her head fell to the ground, where they were trampled underfoot by Xiao Qiyu, who had caught up closely.
Seeing that she couldn't avoid it, Cui Ying simply climbed onto the bed, then picked up the longans and red dates scattered all over the bed and threw them at Xiao Qiyu like pebbles.
Xiao Qiyu's forehead was marked with a bruise, and her eyes were flushed with a bright red, whether from pain or anger. However, she did not stop walking. When she reached the bedside, her figure blocked a large part of the candlelight, and the tent suddenly became dark.
The beautiful and delicate young girl huddled in the corner of the bed. Even though she was a little scared, her aura was still strong. Her almond-shaped eyes stared at him fiercely, as if to say: Try to come any closer.
Xiao Qiyu's eyes darkened, and he grabbed Cui Ying's ankle, dragging her in front of him.
Even so, Cui Ying did not back down. She flapped her long, slender legs wildly like a rabbit kicking an eagle. Her crimson silk trousers slid down to her thighs with the movement, exposing large expanses of her dazzlingly white skin to Xiao Qiyu's eyes. The sweet fragrance unique to young girls filled the bright red wedding tent.
Xiao Qiyu's breathing became slightly sluggish, his Adam's apple bobbed, and his hand holding that slender ankle felt inexplicably hot, as if his blood was boiling.
His burning anger subsided quietly amidst the aroma, and he spoke helplessly, his voice regaining its composure: "Cui Ying, I'm not going to touch you anymore, can you just behave yourself?"
"Bullshit!"
Cui Ying's almond-shaped eyes widened: "You just tricked me!"
They agreed to unlock the chains and then open the door, but the first thing he did after unlocking them was to seek revenge on her.
This guy is just like her, full of bad ideas and never tells the truth!
The more she thought about it, the more she hated it. With a sudden burst of strength, Cui Ying's snow-white legs almost touched Xiao Qiyu's face.
Xiao Qiyu's breath hitched, as if he could no longer bear the stimulation. He leaned over and pressed his body against the pair of wicked jade legs, causing the mandarin duck jade pendants tied around their waists to jingle.
In the cramped and dimly lit space, the veins on Xiao Qiyu's forehead throbbed as he spoke in a low, harsh voice: "If you continue like this, I'll tie you up with those iron chains."
Unable to move his lower body, Cui Ying raised his arms to push Xiao Zhouyi's chest, cursing, "Come on! Who's afraid of who!"
Xiao Qiyu grabbed those fair, white wrists with one hand, seemingly genuinely interested. He turned to look at the iron chain lying on the ground, and the pressure on his body loosened.
Taking advantage of the moment, Cui Ying broke free from the large hand that was holding her wrist, then pulled out one leg and, with all her might, kicked Xiao Qiyu off the bed.
My revenge has been achieved!
Before she could even laugh out loud, she felt a sudden dizziness, and her body rolled down uncontrollably.
"ah!"
In the brief darkness, Cui Ying felt a sharp pain all over her body and a soft touch on her lips.
When she opened her eyes again, what appeared before her were Xiao Qiyu's exquisite phoenix eyes, magnified several times over.
Glancing down out of the corner of my eye—
She pressed herself against him.
Her nose touched his.
Her lips... enveloped his lips.
