Everyone's smiles froze on their faces, their eyes filled with fear and worry. The scream was like a sharp blade, piercing everyone's heart. Xu Mo took a moment to look in the direction of the scream. The source of the scream was Ed's tent.
Xu Mo's gaze quickly turned toward the direction of the screams, a hint of worry in his eyes. He knew danger was approaching. Just like in the original novel, Ed was seen beating Carol by the lake by Sean, who then beat him up. While others enjoyed a fish dinner by the campfire, Ed was alone in the tent recovering from his injuries.
Xu Mo's mind flashed back to the plot of the original novel, and a hint of helplessness flickered in his eyes. He understood Ed's current predicament and was worried about what was about to happen. Carol, who was sitting by the campfire, heard the scream and hugged Sophia tightly with tears in her eyes.

Aside from a few of the beasts, Xu Mo didn't want to give up on anyone else in the camp unless they were idiots. After all, killing zombies earned him points. If they were gone, who would earn him points?
Xu Mo quickly weighed the pros and cons in his mind, a calculating look in his eyes. He understood the value of these people and hoped to protect them as much as possible. He saw Morel's tent, a gun in one hand and a machete in the other, annihilating all the approaching zombies.
Moore rushed out of the tent, his eyes filled with ferocity and determination. He brandished his weapon with both hands, each movement carrying deadly force. Xu Mo nodded upon seeing this. This was a high-level worker who earned him points. As long as he was alright, he was fine.
Xu Mo nodded slightly, a gratified smile on his face. He watched Moore's heroic performance and recognized his ability. "Xu Mo, there are more zombies coming." Beside Xu Mo, Andrea raised her hand and fired a shot, then shouted at Xu Mo.
Andrea's voice was filled with anxiety as she shouted while firing. Her eyes were filled with tension as she watched the growing number of zombies. Amy was now quietly hiding behind Xu Mo and Andrea.
Amy huddled slightly, hiding behind Xu Mo and Andrea. Her eyes were filled with fear, but also a hint of unwillingness. Seeing Xu Mo and Andrea protecting her in front of her, she also felt a little unwilling.
Amy bit her lip, a hint of stubbornness in her eyes. She longed to be like them, brave enough to face danger. She also wanted to stand before Xu Mo and Andrea, weapon in hand, to protect them.
