Xu Mo nodded to Morales and Jim, his eyes filled with confidence. He hoped they would find important clues in the west. "The other young men will be responsible for scavenging supplies in other places around here."
Xu Mo glanced at the other young men, his eyes commanding. He hoped they could gather more supplies for the camp. "Dale and I will stay behind to protect the camp."
Xu Mo's tone was filled with responsibility. He explained his duties and assured everyone to carry out the mission. "Does anyone have any questions?" After saying this, Xu Mo looked at the others in the camp, especially Sean.
Xu Mo's eyes searched the crowd and finally landed on Sean. There was a hint of scrutiny in his eyes, wanting to see if Sean would have any objections. However, Sean was very honest this time and did not jump out to find fault.
Sean lowered his head slightly, a flicker of reluctance in his eyes. But he chose to remain silent and didn't raise any objections. "No." Others in the camp also expressed their suggestions.
Everyone shook their heads, their eyes filled with obedience. They approved of Xu Mo's arrangement and were willing to follow his instructions. "Very good." Xu Mo nodded and said, "Then let's set off immediately!"
Xu Mo's face lit up with a satisfied smile, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He couldn't wait for everyone to get moving. "If you encounter any danger, remember to use the intercom to contact the others or base camp immediately. Everyone must return before dark!"
Xu Mo's tone was filled with concern. He reminded everyone to be safe and ensure everyone returned on time. With Xu Mo's order, all those assigned to the mission began to mobilize.
Everyone immediately sprang into action, faces filled with a mixture of nervousness and excitement. They prepared their equipment and headed for their respective mission locations. After assigning their tasks, Xu Mo found Amy, Andrea, and the others, and sat down at a table and chairs under a large tree in front of Hershel's courtyard to teach them the basics of firearms.
Xu Mo, Amy, and Andrea sat around the table. He focused his eyes and patiently explained the basics of firearms. Just then, Dale walked towards him:
Dale walked hurriedly, his expression serious. His eyes were filled with anxiety, as if something important was going on. "Xu Mo, you have to come over and take a look."
Dale's voice was low and urgent. He looked at Xu Mo, hoping that he could go somewhere with him immediately. Seeing Dale's serious expression, Xu Mo raised his eyebrows, glanced at Amy and Andrea in front of him, and stood up from his seat.
Xu Mo frowned slightly, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. He looked at Amy and Andrea, then stood up and prepared to go with Dale to find out what was going on. After seeing Xu Mo stand up, Amy and Andrea also stood up from their seats.
Amy and Andrea looked at each other, their eyes full of curiosity. They also stood up, wanting to know what was going on. Amy asked curiously, "Dale, what happened?"
Amy's eyes sparkled with curiosity. She looked at Dale, eager to know the answer. Andrea also looked at Dale in confusion.
Andrea shook her head slightly, her eyes filled with confusion. She was also puzzled by Dale's words. Dale: "Come and see for yourself."
Dell's tone was mysterious, and there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes. He did not answer directly, but asked them to go and see for themselves. Xu Mo also roughly guessed what happened. He nodded and said, "Dell, lead the way."
Xu Mo nodded slightly, his eyes calm. He seemed to have guessed what was going on and asked Dale to take him to the scene. Dale also nodded and soon led Xu Mo, Amy, and Andrea to a well.
Dale walked quickly to the well and stopped. He looked into the well with concern in his eyes. "I just heard the screams of the zombies down there."
Dale's voice trembled, his eyes filled with fear. He recalled the sound he had just heard, still feeling a lingering fear. As Dale spoke, he also took out a flashlight and shone it towards the bottom of the well. Xu Mo, Amy, and Andrea also saw the scene in the well below.
Dale turned on his flashlight, shining it into the well. Xu Mo, Amy, and Andrea approached the wellhead and saw a startling sight: a bloated zombie floating on the surface of the water.
The zombie looked terrifying, its body swollen and its face grim. It floated on the water, a chilling sight. As if sensing the light from Dell's flashlight, the zombie slapped the water's surface.
The zombies, seemingly irritated by the light, slapped the water. The splashing added to the tension. "Looks like we've encountered a strong swimmer," Dale jokingly remarked.
Dale tried to ease the tension, forcing a smile on his face. But there was still a hint of fear in his eyes. Andrea: "It looks like this zombie has been in here for a long time."
Andrea frowned slightly, a thoughtful look in her eyes. She observed the zombie's condition, guessing how long it had been at the bottom of the well. "Xu Mo, how should we deal with this kind of zombie?" Amy looked at Xu Mo.
Amy looked at Xu Mo with anticipation in her eyes. She hoped Xu Mo could come up with a solution. Xu Mo touched his chin and thought for a moment.
Xu Mo lowered his head slightly, his fingers gently touching his chin. His eyes were thoughtful, thinking about how to deal with it. Then he said:
Xu Mo raised his head, his eyes calm. He was about to express his thoughts. "This well belongs to the Hershel family. It's not for us guests to decide what to do with it."
