Chapter 52 Blood Moon

Xu Mo spread his hands helplessly and said with a bewildered look:

"I don't know what happened. When I first found myself here, I was so surprised that my jaw almost dropped."

He frowned slightly, a hint of confusion in his eyes, and continued, "That super artificial intelligence did explain it to me. It said it was made up of some kind of ultra-nanospace technology. That technology is incredibly complex. I listened for a long time but was completely confused. I couldn't understand it at all."

"But, is this thing really something that should exist in the real world?" Andrea widened her eyes, her face full of disbelief, her mouth slightly open, as if everything before her was beyond her comprehension.

Xu Mo sighed softly, a hint of helplessness in his eyes, and explained: "Since it has appeared before your eyes, it means it really exists. Think about it, now even the dead can be resurrected. In comparison, the appearance of a motorhome like this doesn't seem so strange."

His eyes were deep, as if he was lost in thought. He continued, "In my opinion, this RV must have been built by some super-rich man who knew about the disaster in advance and spent a lot of money to build it. But now it seems that he won't have the chance to use it."

"That's true." Amy beside her nodded slightly, her eyes showing recognition, and the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a smile.

She mused to herself, "Even zombies, which defy the law of conservation of energy, have appeared, so the appearance of a somewhat explicable high-tech RV isn't out of the question." Furthermore, while the level of technology in the real world might be limited, the underlying technological advancements are likely unprecedented, making the creation of such a RV a possibility.

"We will live here from now on." Xu Mo said with a hint of pride in his eyes, and then continued in a somewhat boastful tone:

"This RV is incredible! Not only can it withstand any firearms, but even small to medium-sized explosions can withstand minimal damage. Most importantly, it's equipped with a super-efficient air purifier and water recycling processor, as well as super-efficient solar panels and wind turbines. This essentially eliminates the need for water and electricity. This means we'll have no shortage of water and electricity living here. It's truly a mobile fortress."

When Amy, Beth and Andrea heard this, their eyes widened and sparkled with excitement, as if they saw a beautiful life in the future.

"Xu Mo, is this true?!" Beth's cheeks flushed with excitement, her eyes were full of anticipation, and her voice was trembling.

If what Xu Mo said was true, then living here would be no different from their life before the apocalypse. They basically wouldn't have to worry about the zombies. How could she not be excited?

"Of course, why would I lie to you?" Xu Mo couldn't help but grin, his eyes revealing confidence and determination.

After that, Xu Mo began to allocate rooms:

"There are three bedrooms in total. Amy, you and Andrea will live in the one on the left. Beth, you and Maggie will live in the one on the right. The master bedroom in the middle is mine. Is that okay with you?"

"No." Amy and Beth said in unison, with trusting smiles on their faces and obedience to Xu Mo's arrangements in their eyes, as if they had no objection to Xu Mo's decision.

"Me neither." After seeing Amy and Beth talking, Andrea hurriedly said, with a hint of gratitude in her eyes. She was secretly glad in her heart. At first, she didn't think that she could also move in. Now it was really thanks to her sister.

Seeing that the women had no objections, Xu Mo's eyes showed a hint of concern, and he continued, "That's fine. When the zombies come later, you stay in this RV and don't come out."

On the one hand, Amy, Beth and Maggie are his women, and on the other hand, they are his precious 5% extra attributes, so nothing must happen to them. As for Andrea, Amy's sister, he can't just leave her alone. Leaving her in the car will only benefit him, not harm him, so that he doesn't have to pay attention to her when he is outside earning points later.

"Got it." Amy and Beth nodded obediently, with a hint of understanding in their eyes. They also knew that they didn't have much strength, and going out would affect Xu Mo and hold him back. It would be better for them to stay in the RV honestly. Besides, it was very safe here, and there was nothing wrong with staying there.

“…” Andrea opened her mouth, her eyes showing a hint of struggle and helplessness, but in the end she didn’t say anything.

She actually wanted to go outside to fight. Xu Mo and the rest of the team were fighting hard outside, but she was sitting in the RV. She felt a little uncomfortable sitting still. She also had a gun and could kill zombies to contribute to the team. But since Xu Mo asked her to stay here, she couldn't disobey Xu Mo's orders.

"Then I'll go out." There was a hint of seriousness in Xu Mo's eyes. Without saying anything else, he strode out of the RV and came outside.

"Come to think of it, today's sky seems to be darker than usual." Xu Mo muttered to himself with his head down, his brows slightly furrowed. A sense of uneasiness welled up in his heart, and he looked up at the sky with a feeling.

The sky above was covered by a thick layer of dark clouds, like a huge black cloth, blocking the stars and the moon completely, not even a trace of light could get through. The whole world seemed to have fallen into a dark abyss.

At the same time.

Woodbury.

In a room on one floor.

The Governor stood by the window, gently shaking a glass of whiskey in his hand, his eyes deep and blurred, looking through the window at the moon hanging high in the sky.
