As Alec and his companions entered the hospital, a gloomy and foul smell hit them. Before they could fully adapt to the environment, a huge creature broke into their sight - a giant zombie.
"Holy shit, what the hell is this monster?"
Alec's eyes widened instantly, his face filled with horror and disbelief. The moment he saw the giant zombie, he couldn't help but curse.
Beside him, Reese and the others were equally stunned by the sight. Their eyes were fixed on the giant zombie, their bodies frozen in place.
This was the first time they had ever seen such a gigantic zombie. The visual impact of its extraordinary size was simply too strong.

At the same time that Alec discovered the giant zombie, the giant zombie also keenly captured the presence of Alec and others.
When the giant zombie smelled the fresh flesh and blood of Alec and the others, its cloudy eyes instantly lit up with a bloodthirsty light. It bared its teeth, let out a terrifying roar, and then ran straight towards Alec and the others.
Every time the giant zombie took a step, the ground would shake violently, and the vibration was like the dull sound of war drums, beating on everyone's heart.
Seeing the giant zombie rushing towards him like a moving mountain, Alec subconsciously took a step back. A flash of panic flashed in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination. He immediately shouted to the others:
"What are you still standing there for? Hit it!"
The others finally woke up and came to their senses. Their eyes were rekindled with fighting spirit. They quickly picked up their weapons and began to fire fiercely at the giant zombie.
Perhaps it was the giant zombie's massive size, or perhaps the bullets lacked penetrating power. Assault rifle and shotgun bullets pierced the zombie's head or other parts, creating only small holes that seemed to cause no harm to it.
"Let me try."
At that moment, the man carrying the grenade launcher stepped forward. His eyes were filled with ruthlessness as he stared intently at the giant zombie. He adjusted his stance, aimed steadily at the giant zombie, and fired a grenade.
The grenade landed with a whistling sound, landing precisely beside the giant zombie's left foot. With a resounding "bang!" and a burst of flames, the giant zombie's left foot was completely ripped apart.
"It works, keep going!" Alec shouted excitedly, his face filled with joy.
The man quickly reloaded his ammunition with deft movements, and then fired another grenade at the right foot of the giant zombie.
Soon, the giant zombie's right foot was also blown into a bloody mess. Without support, the giant zombie's huge body swayed a few times and finally fell heavily to the ground.
"Blow its head off!" Alec continued waving his arms and commanding loudly.
Soon, another grenade landed next to the giant zombie's head. With a deafening explosion, the giant zombie's head was instantly blown to pieces.
At the same time, a white crystal flew out from the giant zombie's head, drew an arc in the air, and fell at Alec's feet.
"What is this?" Alec frowned in confusion, looking at the white crystal at his feet. He slowly squatted down and carefully picked up the white crystal.
The moment he picked up the white crystal, Alec felt a strong attraction coming from deep within his body. An indescribable sense of need surged in his heart.
Without any hesitation, Alec stuffed the white crystal into his mouth and swallowed it.
"Alec, what are you doing?" Reese's eyes widened, her face filled with shock and worry. She shouted, her voice trembling.
The others around Alec also looked at him in amazement. Their eyes were full of disbelief, and they thought to themselves: You must be really hungry to eat something that fell out of a zombie's head.
As they thought about it, the others subconsciously kept a certain distance from Alec. Their eyes were filled with vigilance, fearing that Alec would turn into a zombie in the next second.
Alec felt a surge of joy. After swallowing the crystal, he felt a distinct change in his body. He felt stronger, his muscles firmer. Furthermore, he was pleasantly surprised to discover he seemed to have gained some kind of superpower.
He tried to concentrate his mind and found that he could instantly harden his skin, becoming invulnerable to weapons for a few seconds. Of course, he also realized that this ability had limitations and could only be used once within an hour.
This is amazing! Alec felt the power surge in his body, and his heart was filled with excitement. His eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Don't tell anyone else about this crystal!" Alec looked at the others around him and made a secret decision. A sly look flashed in his eyes.
"I'm fine. Let's go to the dean's office and get the warehouse key, then go inside to get the medical equipment." Alec remained calm and composed. He immediately told the others to continue walking into the administration building.
The others, including Reese, looked at each other, their eyes filled with confusion and hesitation, but when they saw Alec heading towards the administration building, they had no choice but to follow him temporarily.
