Armand's power is much greater than Tern's. Even if he sends a dozen people to go to the hospital with him, the remaining people should still be able to crush Tern.
Tern raised the corner of his mouth and sneered:
"Armand's men have almost been infiltrated by me."
"After I threatened you this morning, I knew you would ask Armand for help. And since Armand is unhappy with me, he will definitely agree to your request."
"Unfortunately, most of his men have become my people, even his closest confidants. After one of his confidants, whom I bribed, heard about your plan, he quickly came to me and told me about it."
"So I used their trick and quickly dealt with that old guy Armand."
Alec's face turned pale when he heard this. He clenched his fists and looked at Thorn and asked:
"Before the end of the world, my father treated you well. Why would you do such a thing?"
Tern continued to sneer, a hint of mockery flashing in his eyes.
"Not thin? I don't know what you're talking about?"
"Your father and I only have an employment relationship. What's the difference?"
"At least you weren't treated unfairly!" Alec's face flushed as he continued to argue.
"That's indeed true." Tern nodded slightly, then said with a serious and righteous expression:
"It's just that your father is not fit to be the leader of this shelter."
"Under your father's leadership, there is absolutely no democracy in the entire shelter. You and your father don't have to do anything to enjoy the best housing and the most food in the shelter."
"You know, there are over 300 people in this shelter, and more than half of them are hungry and don't have enough to eat."
"And I've seen more than once that you and your father either feed the leftover food to your pet dog or throw it directly into the trash."
Hearing what Tern said, Alec was speechless. A flicker of panic flashed in his eyes. Just as Tern had said, he did exactly that.
But what he didn't expect was that Tern was so decent?
There is a wolf in front and a tiger behind, he is trapped from both sides, isn't he finished?
A trace of panic flashed across his eyes, and he thought rapidly in his mind. Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he actually thought of a plan to "drive the tiger to devour the wolf."
He immediately opened the car door, quickly got out, raised his hands, forced a flattering smile on his face, and said, "Tern, I know I was wrong. Please let me in. I want to be an ordinary person like the other survivors. I can't survive outside alone."
Hearing Alec's words, Tern's brows furrowed slightly, and a trace of confusion flashed in his eyes.
He had the impression that Alec would never say such a thing. Could it be that he was sincere?
