Chapter 9 Obsidian Paradise (Part 1)

Chapter 9 Obsidian Paradise (Part 1)

It was the weekend again, and Yao Chuanling yawned and ran to the restaurant.

Hibari Kyoya always woke up earlier than her and ate breakfast earlier too. On weekends, he wasn't in the dining room when she got up for breakfast.

Today, however, is quite unusual.

The black-haired, blue-eyed boy sat quietly in a wooden rocking chair, reading a book. The sunlight shone on his profile, making his skin appear even whiter and more like porcelain.

When Kyoya is quiet, he looks like a noble young master in a painting.

The elf, faced with such beauty, was filled with awe.

She quickly pressed the shutter button.

Good morning!

The girl, who loves beautiful things, said sweetly.

"morning."

Hibari Kyoya put down his book and responded calmly.

Just as he was getting impatient, the sleepy little animal finally arrived.

"Namimori has been quite turbulent lately, and I will personally take down the person behind it all."

Many members of the disciplinary committee were injured, including his vice chairman, which was definitely a provocation against him.

The chairman wiped the floating cane hidden to one side, his eyes shining with eager excitement.

At times, the head of the disciplinary committee in Namimori is quite reliable.

Knowing the inside story, Yao Chuanling was spreading strawberry jam on bread when she heard this, her hand paused, and her expression became subtle.

She was a little curious, so she went to check if it would be alright.

The elf, who had promised not to get involved, found the idea increasingly feasible.

"I have no intention of gathering in groups."

The cold tone of the voice dampened her enthusiasm.

The girl gave a listless "oh" and ate her bread.

The taste isn't from the restaurant she usually eats at; it seems Tetsuya is in trouble.

Her thoughts were easily discernible; Hibari Kyoya could tell what she was thinking at a glance.

He kindly explained, "Kusakabe was also injured and is in the hospital. That shop is closed today."

When the city gate catches fire, the fish in the moat suffer. Poor Tetsuya.

The spirit, who had always been taken care of by Tetsuya Kusakabe, decided to visit him in the hospital, so she asked Tetsuya Kusakabe where he was.

Coincidentally, it's a familiar hospital.

Hibari Kyoya clicked his tongue in annoyance: "Kusakabe will be discharged soon, so mind your own business and don't run around."

Most of the people attacked were connected to the Disciplinary Committee, and she, as an unofficial member, might also have been a target.

He won't comfort the little animal if it starts to cry again.

Hibari Kyoya calmly ruffled Youkawa Rei's hair. "Let's kill the person behind this as soon as possible."

The elf's hair is soft and fluffy curly, and it looks and feels great to the touch.

Like a bird's downy feathers.

Let's get a bird when we come back.

He thought.

Yao Chuanling complained, "My hairstyle is all messed up, you have to take responsibility."

Damn it! This hairstyle took her three hours to learn from Kyoko, and just combing it took her a lot of effort.

I went shopping with Kyoko, Hana, and Haru today, and I dressed up quite nicely, which is unusual for me.

Upon hearing this, Hibari Kyoya carefully observed her: her long hair was braided with a light green ribbon matching her eyes, and it was a bit messy now; she was wearing a light pink short skirt, and her whole person looked like a peach.

Wow.

He slowly said, and following Yao Chuanling's example, he took a picture of her with his camera.

Before Yao Chuanling could get angry, he skillfully smoothed her fur: "How do I comb it?"

His well-defined hands threaded through his hair, fiddling with a light-colored ribbon, while Sheng Fei lowered his eyes, his expression indifferent yet focused.

Under Yao Chuanling's guidance, which involved both speaking and gesturing, he even tied a bow at the end with great interest.

Yao Chuanling looked in the mirror, her face filled with disbelief: "Have you been secretly practicing?"

Under her abstract guidance, this guy didn't even watch the video and actually came up with a better-looking hairstyle.

Is it difficult?

He gave a faint, pleasant smile.

*

When Yao Chuanling arrived at the mall, her friends were already there. Xiao Chun waved to her from afar.

One, two, three, four... ten

Everyone's here, including Lambo and Ippin.

Kyoko Sasagawa handed her the milk tea and explained, "Namimori hasn't been very safe lately. Even my brother got injured, so I called everyone here."

The elf took a sip of her milk tea guiltily; it was her favorite flavor. Rokudo Mukuro had made such a big fuss; no wonder he'd tried to appeal to her emotions beforehand, otherwise she might not have stood idly by.

"Xiaoling looks very pretty today."

Takeshi Yamamoto praised him with a smile.

This is a private outfit I've never seen before.

"Hey, even Xiaochun is falling for Miss Ling."

Haru Miura hugged her arm and echoed her with great enthusiasm.

Kurokawa Hana scrutinized her from head to toe several times with a critical eye, and finally nodded in satisfaction.

"Nice hairstyle."

The child deserves encouragement for managing to create such a complex hairstyle.

As one of her hairstylists, Hana Kurokawa thought with satisfaction.

"Hehe." Yaochuan Ling touched the bow tied at the end of her hair and said shyly, "Actually, it was combed by Gongya."

The scene was quiet for a few seconds.

Kyoko Sasagawa and Hana Kurokawa exchanged a glance.

Sawada Tsunayoshi looked as if he had heard a horror story: "Hibari? Is that the Hibari I know?"

That person's personality wouldn't allow them to do such a thing, would it?

However, it's not impossible that he was indeed too indulgent towards Yao Chuanling, even a bit too much.

In the ranking of "who dotes on Youkawa Rei the most" proposed by Gokudera Hayato, Hibari Kyoya ranked at the top of Fuuta's list, even pushing Kyoko and Hana down.

"Haha, it seems I need to learn a lot from Hibari."

A sharp glint flashed in the baseball boy's eyes as he broke the tense atmosphere with a smile.

Reborn asked, "Did Lark go to find them?"

He and Tsuna went to the hospital in the morning to visit Sasagawa Ryohei and Kusakabe Tetsuya, and discovered that they each had a pocket watch on them.

Add the rule of silence.

The target is Tsuna.

Reborn held Leon, who was constantly changing forms, with deep concern.

Hibari Kyoya, who was bitten by Shamal's Trident Mosquito, is in trouble.

Mukuro and his associates, who were expelled from the Mafia and escaped from prison a few days ago, are extremely dangerous individuals.

Yokawa Rei didn't hide it from the girls, especially Sasakawa Kyoko; they had the right to know.

"The lark may not win."

She said it objectively.

Rokudo Mukuro was a top-tier fighter in both physical combat and illusion techniques, trained by her and Sesshomaru.

A storm is coming.

Someone needs to stop it.

"What?! Hibari too..."

The spirit's gaze shifted to Sawada Tsunayoshi, and the Tenth Generation, who had no fighting spirit whatsoever, was shocked.

"Go fight, Tsuna."

Yaochuan Ling and Reborn spoke in unison.

The tutor produced the edict of the Ninth Vongola.

"Even Hibari hasn't come back, how could I, a good-for-nothing like Tsuna, possibly succeed?"

He denied it with an awkward laugh.

This is not like the usual minor squabbles; it's dangerous, extremely dangerous.

"But that's not what everyone thinks. Don't forget why Sasagawa, Kusakabe, and even Hibari got injured."

Reborn looked him straight in the eye and read the Ninth Generation's decree to him.

"Please let me go with the Tenth Generation."

Hayato Gokudera was the first to express his opinion.

"It's a new game where we fight against other factions. Let's work together to rescue Hibari."

Takeshi Yamamoto slung his bat over his shoulder, full of confidence.

"Tsuna, good luck!"

Kyoko Sasagawa smiled gently and encouraged him.

She actually suspected something, but her brother kept it from her so as not to worry her, so she pretended not to know.

"I wish Mr. Koharu great success in his military career. Please feel free to ask if you need any help."

Haru Miura made a salute.

"Then I wish you good luck, but I won't get involved in this matter."

Kurokawa Hana spoke last. As always, she disliked boys in her grade, but surprisingly, she didn't say anything derogatory.

Sawada Tsunayoshi looked at them one by one: Gokudera, Yamamoto, Lambo, Ippin, Bianchi... and Reborn. Finally, he saw Yokawa Rei.

Those who had been bathed in sunlight felt warmth once again.

But this time it comes from everyone.

The sky cleared up.
