From afar, one can see mist-shrouded green mountains, clouds hidden in the mist, blue waves rippled by the wind and the moon; hundreds of rivers meander to the South China Sea, a hazy reflection of the colorful sky. Walking through the mountains, deer call and celestial music lingers; the green water is as smooth as a mirror, and purple bamboos form a dense forest. The natural feeling in his heart and the pressure from deep within his soul made Jiyue prostrate himself on the ground and kowtow respectfully, "Disciple pays homage to the Bodhisattva Guanyin."
"Have you realized it?"
"Replying to Avalokitesvara, disciple has realized it!"
"Then go ahead..."
"Disciple has another matter that he hopes the Bodhisattva will guide him on."
"You want to ask Jiuye?"
"Yes, he burned the Nine-Tailed Fox in exchange for this time reversal. What about him?"
The Bodhisattva Guanyin did not utter another celestial sound, but instead sent the moon worshipper away with a gentle breeze. Before leaving, she saw the cover of "Wander." However, the picture was accompanied by a few lines of text: "The meaning of life lies in that thread of care; the value of life blossoms in that beauty; the joy of life lies in the lingering uncertainty about fate; the imprint of life is left in every moment of time." If love is the persistence of a moth to a flame, the unchanging concern of time, then my love is etched in every moment of the past. But perhaps tomorrow I will encounter another love. What love is not worthy of celebration? This is life itself!
The image was dispelled by the pain of giving birth to a new tail. After experiencing two more pains, Jiyue revealed her true form, now bearing nine tails, and slipped into that familiar, warm embrace that she would cherish forever. She floated in the clouds, facing the brilliant, gorgeous, and dazzling sunlight on the horizon...
