"Test subject No. 223, please enter implantation room No. 3." A staff member next to Jiang Ling pressed a blue button in front of him and spoke into the microphone.
A young man in a loose green scrubs came out of another doorway in the operating room. His head had been shaved, and someone had painted a few standard circles on the back of his head with some kind of paint.
"Test participant No. 223, please don't be nervous. The ceiling is too bright right now, but we'll fix it in a minute." It was the same staff member next to him, and this time his tone was more relaxed and cheerful. "Lie down on the bed and think about it. What kind of view do you want to see? You can adjust it here!"
"Well, can I see the beauty then?" The young man's voice was transmitted to the control room after being amplified several times through the built-in radio device of the operating table.

He nodded, and didn't say anything more to the person in the operating room. He just operated a few times on the computer terminal next to him, finally confirmed the information on the paper document, and then pressed a green button.
The next moment, the machine next to the bed started moving silently.
They first extended a thin tube close to the boy's face and continuously sprayed out some atomized liquid;
Afterwards, a square box moved right above him and scanned his entire body;
A robotic arm gently snatched the arm up into the air and connected it to some life monitor sensors;
After all the preliminary preparations were completed, the operating bed changed the young man's sleeping position and adjusted the back of his head to a suitable angle;
A hemispherical, helmet-like device approached his head and then adhered to his smooth scalp.
The imagined bloody scene did not occur. The entire operation took less than ten minutes. Soon, the helmet was removed from his head, and the area where the circle was originally drawn was now covered with several strips of sterile hemostatic tape.
In Jiang Ling's perception, an inanimate object appeared in that person's mind.
