Chapter 8 Starry Sky Cleaner (VIII)

The scene remained stagnant for three minutes before the two guys squatting in the toilet realized their problem. They quickly cancelled their stealth mode and transformed from a pile of grass into humanoid creatures.

Jiang Ling looked at the two of them deeply, then ignored the one who was dressed more formally and nodded to the naked man wearing a Kun head mask.

The naked man with the hooded head had a slightly dark complexion, two star-shaped stickers with the words "+13" on his chest, and red boxer shorts with a pistol outline painted on them. Overall, he looked like a seasoned gamer. He nodded at Jiang Ling and said, "Let's get acquainted. I'm Big Bird Zhuan Zhuan Zhuan."

"I am the windmill." The serious man replied.

"Well, I'm in the afternoon. Do you need me to add a friend?" Jiang Ling asked.

"No need, just shout on the public channel. There are no bonuses in this game even if you add friends." The serious person replied.

Seeing Jiang Ling deep in thought, Big Bird clicked a few times in his game menu, threw out a backpack, and then took two steps back with the windmill: "Here, I'll give you all these props. It's definitely enough for you to experience the entire story... If you don't mind, we can chat for a while."

"You guys really treat this game like a chat room?" Jiang Ling didn't take the free resources. Instead, he controlled his character to sit on a bench by the roadside, then motioned for the other two to follow him. "Don't blame me for not wanting your stuff. I really want to play the game the way it was meant to be."

"Oh, I understand. I'm a hardcore gamer!"

"What are we going to talk about?"

"Um, let me think, let me introduce myself first!" Big Bird spun around, pulling out a few bottles of happy water from his backpack and sharing them between the two. Then, as if in a role-playing role, he continued, "Actually, I'm not that special. Working on a cargo ship is exhausting and hard, and I don't get much sunlight. After all, the game is in such a shaky state, most people who can scroll through thousands of pages on the platform are just idlers. And those idlers are asking for trouble."

"Are you acting a little strange today?" the serious man asked in surprise. "Did your wife run away with someone?"

"Ghost! That bitch has to take care of a dozen little brats in the family by herself, how can she have time to have an affair?" The naked man with a Kun head pushed the serious man.

"So what are you doing?"

"Okay, I admit it. Actually, I am Old K."

"Oh," said the serious man.

"Oh?" Jiang Ling tasted the virtual cola without knowing why. She found that this thing was only good enough to satisfy her cravings.

"Oh!" The NPCs who had come up at some point made meaningless noises.

"Aren't you surprised?"

"Isn't this common knowledge? We've guessed it for a long time, but we've never exposed your weakness." Big Windmill replied with a stern face. "Are you trying to say that it's too tiring to maintain the server by yourself, and now you're finally planning to shut it down? Don't worry, we'll find a way for you. If all else fails, we can crowdfund!"

"Get lost! You're hoping for my death, aren't you?" The man with the hooded hair stood up and waved away the gathered NPCs. He checked the real-time time on the game system and continued, "I'll renew the lease for another year tomorrow, but this voyage is quite long, so it might be too late by this time next year. It won't be too late for you to come up with a solution then."

"That doesn't sound like a business trip. How long will you be away this time?"

"A round trip is about four years."
