Could it be poison? But who did I offend?

Li Wenjia had some beads of sweat on his head, then he suppressed the panic in his heart and raised the can of drink in front of his eyes.

If this was man-made, then it meant that his every move was under the eyes of the person behind the scenes, and he couldn't do anything that was not normal. Otherwise, that person might end this damn riddle on the spot!

It's a pressurized tank. Is the gas inside toxic?

Li Wenjia smelled the rich aroma of black coffee, a scent that was probably no different from the water used to wash the pot. It was a cheap, industrial synthetic flavoring, and real coffee might not even taste as good.

He gritted his teeth and took a sip, the sweet taste immediately filling his mouth. Country Z disliked the bitter taste of traditional coffee, so this locally adapted beverage naturally appealed to the local palate. He only detected a hint of bitterness, but it was quickly masked by the other aromatic ingredients.

Perhaps warmth truly soothes the heart, or perhaps the can truly is poisonous. Li Wenjia drank it all in one gulp, then crushed the can into a ball with his palm.

Nothing happened and he remained a healthy and cheerful young man.

Well, maybe it was just some lucky luck. He burped in satisfaction and continued walking deeper along the corridor.

After turning a few corners, he saw something familiar again.

The damned robot dog stood up, its front legs draped over another robot. It was imitating a dog, and it was doing a very good job, looking very realistic and happy.

It held Li Wenjia's waist bag in its mouth and kept rubbing it against the robot, as if it was its owner.

Li Wenjia's gaze continued upwards, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead again. Almost instantly, he decided that he had to go back and warn them.
