Chapter 514: The Holy Temple of Bones

Chapter 514: The Holy Temple of Bones

Gwen didn't know what was wrong with her.

He was so tired that he had difficulty standing, he was desperate and wanted to give up, his eyes were filled with blood and tears, but he could not let go of the sword in his hand.

There was a fire in her heart that she wanted to quench with the blood of her enemies.

"Lord Nora, I understand."

Gwen raised the sword with a determined look, as if he wanted to cut off his own weakness.

She fantasized about reinforcements arriving at the last moment, she fantasized about heavy armor to cover her weakness, she fantasized about a greater being to save her.

Nora smashed her fantasy with the flail.

At some point, the battlefield seemed to get a little darker.

"Only you can save yourself, only resistance can bring you survival, only fighting can keep you moving forward."

The sword in his hand was shining, and his white pupils were shining too.

Time seemed to have stopped at this moment.

Even Nora stopped the flail in her hand. She turned slightly, as if her headless body could also see the dazzling light.

After a moment, she stepped back and stood behind Gwen.

The long sword slashed down.

The shining sword slashed into the ground, and the light disappeared.

The next moment, countless cracks appeared on the ground, and bright white light shone through the cracks.

The densely packed Dragon Fang soldiers in front of Gwen were submerged in the white light.

On a mound a little further away, a little girl with white hair was looking over there silently.

Next to her, the shadow of a tall girl was standing with a sword in her hand. It was the little girl's [friend], Little Gwen.

"Why do you want to help her?"

"I don't know either. She's nothing like me. She's very tall, her hair is too long, she seems to have a lot of friends, and she's the leader of the resistance," Gwen whispered, shaking her head.

"Do you envy her? Do you want to be her? Or do you hate her?"

Little Gwen crouched down and looked at Gwen.

"After all, I am your imagined grown-up self. She and I are somewhat similar."

Gwen looked at her [friend] and shook her head slowly.

"I'm different from her, and I'm different from you. Gwen is Gwen. She is her Gwen, and I am my Gwen."

The girl blinked, a barely visible curve appeared at the corner of her mouth, and she turned around to look at the battlefield again.

Gwen on the battlefield cleared out a group of enemies with one sword, but there were still many enemies behind him, like endless sea water, which filled the gap in an instant.

"There are still many enemies. Do you want us to help?" The unicorn next to him spoke in an unusually gentle tone.

"No need."

Gwen turned around and looked at the other side of the mound. There was a long team there. Heavy Gatling machine guns were loaded on steel carts. There were two huge airships in the sky with hideous shark-teeth paint.

"I also brought the expeditionary force here."

In the north, a little further north than the resistance battlefield, near the Canary Mountains, in the resistance's former camp.

The world seemed to have forgotten this place. The attention of the entire North was attracted by the Resistance Army, and no one cared about this desolate land anymore.

But at this moment, a boot stepped on the open ground.

The calfskin edges are inlaid with copper, and the high-top boots are embroidered with detailed patterns.

Such exquisite boots were carelessly stepped into the mud, and the embroidery was instantly covered by the mud.

“Hahahaha, I found it, I found it!!!”

The crazy laughter pierced the tranquility of the woods, and Bazel's originally elegant face was filled with twisted joy.

"They are all wrong, all wrong! It's not that Nora hid the holy relic, but that she didn't even know it existed! The Candlelight Society? Investigators? They won't find it even if they investigate for a hundred years!"

Bazel laughed wildly, holding a small clay pot in his hand, with some fresh soil on it.

"Lina, do you know what this is? Do you know what a great creation this is?"

"This is the Temple of Bones, my Lord."

"Yes, the Bone Temple, the past that the people in the Silent Temple wanted to forget the most and dared not mention the most. I knew that their breakup with Nora was not that simple. Sure enough, they secretly buried this holy relic here. I guessed it when I knew that Nora was not dead!"

"The Bone Temple! The miracle of the Bone Crows! It's in my hands! Now, not to mention the North, the entire continent will be at my disposal! As long as I open its lid, white mist will fill the entire continent, and the remains of the Bone Crows in the mist will obey my orders!"

Lina raised her head and watched Bazel's hysterical revelry quietly.

After a while, Bazel noticed her gaze and turned around with a smile: "Don't worry, Lina, our agreement will not change. In the kingdom of the dead that I rule, the Fire Moth will be the only sect. As the chief of the Fire Moth, you will be the pope of the state religion!"

"It would be a pleasure - I hope you don't forget your promise."

"Don't worry, don't worry! Candlelight Society? I don't even need to take action. Except for those secret keepers, no one can survive the White Disaster!!"

Basel grabbed the lid of the pottery jar with trembling hands, took a deep breath, and prepared to open the lid.

"Wait."

Bazel was startled and turned to glare at Lina: "What's wrong!?"

"I want to ask what to do with the troops you brought with you?"

"They will be the first army of bones I will bring down. They have pledged their allegiance to me - but I don't say whether they are alive or dead."

"I see. Then what should we do with the extraordinary people in your army?"

"What extraordinary person? You are the only extraordinary person in my army? What are you talking about?"

"It's nothing, I remembered it wrong. Please open the Temple of Bones." Lina said with her head down.

Basel frowned and reached for the lid of the pottery jar again, but hesitated and did not open it immediately.

He had an inexplicable bad feeling in his heart.

"What is it, my Lord?"

"No. No, Lina. You should know that as a Fire Moth, there will be no other forces to support you, right? My kingdom of the dead is the only force that will give you shelter and allow you to research freely."

Lina sighed and said nothing. She just raised her head and stared at Bazel with her red eyes.

Bazel looked at those red eyes and began to feel inexplicably afraid. He was about to say something when he suddenly found that his fingers seemed to twitch.

"Varied"

The next moment, his hand lifted the lid by itself.

Countless gray-white powders flew out of the jar, like fireflies, very beautiful.

As soon as they touched Basel, his flesh and blood began to melt like blood. In his horrified expression, he turned into a skeleton in just a moment.

The white ash spread, and the army he brought was quickly reduced to nothing but bones. Lina, who was standing aside, was not spared either. She looked down at her flesh and blood disappearing, but a strange smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.
