Chapter 777 Xiaobu's Journey

Chapter 777 Xiaobu's Journey

"Xiaobu, stop reading and come out quickly, something big has happened!!"

Xiaobu raised her head in confusion. The door was pushed open. The late autumn sun was not very hot, but she still felt it was a little dazzling.

She had always lived underground and was somewhat unaccustomed to the warmth and brightness.

There was a figure at the door, but it was a little hard to see against the light. Xiaobu subconsciously stretched out his hand to block the sunlight, but was pulled away.

She staggered a few steps and was dragged out of the house.

After leaving the room, everything suddenly became much clearer, and Xiaobu also saw clearly the girl who was pulling her.

"What's wrong, Rebecca?"

Rebecca was the girl who brought her meals every day. She was said to have just arrived in Castel and always pulled her aside to chat.

"Your kind, the Untouchables. Wow, isn't that a bit offensive?"

"No, we just can't be touched." Xiaobu answered subconsciously. After she finished speaking, she noticed that the girl was holding her hand. "You, you let go quickly, it will bring misfortune!"

"There's no time left. The speedboat to Blood Harbor is about to depart. If we run faster, we won't be able to catch up!" Rebecca said loudly.

The guard at the test site here had obviously been warned. When he saw Xiaobu and Rebecca running over, he not only did not stop them, but instead helped them open the door.

"Are we just going to leave like this?"

"What else? The Lord has issued a special order for you to help treat your fellow tribesmen!"

"Help, help?" Xiao Bu was surprised. "Are they in trouble?"

"The Church dug underground and started a war with your people. Lord Ash brought the Banshee Squad to support them. They managed to bring most of the people here, but some were injured and are being treated in the hospital!"

Xiaobu was stunned when he heard this.

The Vatican was defeated?!

She had lived in the garbage dump under the Rhine since she was a child. The living conditions there were not very good. She couldn't even find a decent set of clothes and had to wear paper bags.

But that was her home after all.

"Why, why? We are living in a garbage dump, can't even the garbage be left for us?" Xiaobu's voice was full of disbelief and grievance.

She loved the huge junkyard where she could always find some useful parts, but she also knew what the word "junk" meant.

These were things that were clearly abandoned by the Rhine people and were completely ignored underground, so can't they be allowed to stay?

And she really likes it there.

Her home is made of garbage, but the time spent at home, the memories and dreams are not garbage!

"We have to run faster. Actually, Sister Gaia was supposed to pick you up. She could take you to the beach in no time, but she said she had to go to the site for supervision and didn't make it in time!" Rebecca was a little out of breath. "I can only run with you. Wait for me!"

Xiaobu suddenly ran much faster, and Rebecca could hardly keep up.

The two ran along the road all the way to the dock. A steamship was preparing to leave the port at the seaside. The ropes had been thrown off and the sailors on it were retrieving the connecting boards.

"Wait! Wait!" Rebecca shouted, anxiously pulling Little Bu. "That's the ship, the Black Pearl. It's the fastest ship to Blood Harbor. Let's jump on it!"

Xiaobu nodded heavily, and the two of them jumped from the dock hand in hand!

The sea breeze blew, and the two girls held the hems of their skirts and drew a beautiful arc in the air.

The sunlight shone on their faces. The stern-faced Xiaobu and the smiling Rebecca made the sailors beside them look up.

At the side of the boat, Jeremiah was watching with a pipe in his mouth, his eyes slightly narrowed, and the corners of his mouth could not help but curl up.

He looked back at Ken in the captain's cabin. The young man could now steer the ship independently. Even in the stormy ocean before, he was a qualified helmsman.

Ken had jumped onto his boat in the same way. The sea was dry and Castel had disappeared, but he had jumped over.

So stupid.

Jeremiah patted the side of the boat. The heavy steel made a muffled sound, not cold at all, but rather familiar.

"Old man, do you think they will both become captains?"

The Black Pearl's whistle sounded low, accompanied by the roar of the steam engine, and the entire ship pushed through the waves and sailed forward.

Jeremiah snorted, took the wine flask from his waist, bit open the lid, and poured the sweet fruit wine inside into his mouth.

"A spaceship is also a ship. I'll go find Tata to add an airbag for you in a while!"

Xiaobu has been living in the testing grounds of Jewel Bay, a little far from Blood Harbor, but the Black Pearl is moving very fast.

She didn't have time to worry about her people for too long before she arrived at Blood Harbor.

After getting off the boat, she and Rebecca were taken to a car together.

Her heart was in turmoil, filled with worry about her people, confusion about the future, and the bizarreness of the city before her.

All of this mixed together, like the offal soup cooked by Brother Frey, with a mixture of flavors.

She sat in the car and looked at the city through the window.

Xiaobu didn't recognize the prosperity and greatness of this place. Looking at this blood harbor, she even inexplicably thought of the garbage dump where she lived.

This place is nothing like a garbage dump. Will this be her home?

The car that picked up Rebecca and Xiaobu was sent by Hughes, and took them directly to the hospital in Blood Harbor.

By now, most of the Banshees have retreated to Blood Harbor, and the Untouchables, except for the most seriously injured and inconvenient ones who remain at the relay point, have been sent to the hospital.

The pungent smell of disinfectant and the pale white walls of the hospital made Xiaobu a little afraid. Rebecca had never been here before. Although she was nervous, she still tried to remain calm and comforted Xiaobu.

"Don't worry, there are so many people here, your people will definitely be fine!"

There are a lot of people coming and going in the hospital.

Some of them are doctors and nurses, and some are religious guards who are responsible for security.

Blood Harbor is now under martial law, and the hospital is heavily guarded. Xiaobu and Rebecca were sent to the inpatient building by a team of crusaders.

"You guys are here?" A familiar voice sounded. Xiao Bu turned his head and looked: "Sister Gaia, Sister Zoe, why are you wearing a hat?"

Zoe adjusted her helmet awkwardly and gave a wry smile.

It was not a hat she wore, but a lesson bought for fifty leos.

Gaia: "We just got here too. The Lord asked us to come over. I guess he has something to arrange. Let's go together."

As they walked, she whispered to reassure Little Bu, "Most of your people are fine. The Banshees were the main force fighting the Church, and only a few died in the aftermath of the battle. Frey has also returned."

"Brother Frey."
