Chapter 442 The Existence of the Eternals

Right now?

Lin Feng frowned; this was something to talk about.

"I see."

As soon as he finished speaking, the flow of time around him returned to normal, and a surging spatial tunnel suddenly appeared behind Lin Feng: "If you really want this world to be destroyed like the last one, then come find me."

The next second, Lin Feng was swallowed by the passage and disappeared from the spot.

"Tina!" Gilgamesh arrived just then and was somewhat at a loss when he saw Tina, who had completely changed.

"I'm fine." Tina quickly withdrew her power, and after she returned to her original form, she went back to Gilgamesh's side.

...

At Stark Tower, Lin Feng casually sat down on a red sofa, his mind flashing back to what Tina had just said.

It's obvious that Iron Man deliberately showed her all this, his real purpose being to wait for her to actively seek him out and step into that unknown trap.

He was well aware of it too.

Imagine how complicated a time machine would be if it could separate the participants' time. If this is true, even without Raoul's zombie virus, Iron Man's research into time would have reached a point where he could disregard the Time Stone.

However, it was precisely these things that gave him a plan to end it all.

"Hello, Mr. Participant, I never imagined you had such great power behind you." Iron Man, carrying two glasses of wine, walked steadily to him and sat down on another red sofa.

“Yes.” Lin Feng took the drink, then sighed, “But there’s nothing to be happy about. Serving such a powerful force sometimes means having to give up some things.”

"To gain more, you always lose something." Iron Man took a sip, calmly set down his glass, and dismissed Lin Feng's hidden meaning.

"So, how's your plan coming along?" Lin Feng asked, taking the initiative to speak.

Iron Man said slowly, "We're already halfway there."

"Really? You don't even know which plan I'm asking about..." Lin Feng calmed his thoughts and asked again, "Do you need my help?"

"Hmm..." Iron Man hesitated for a few seconds, then nodded.

"So, what can I do?" Lin Feng savored the wine that was served to him, his thoughts shifting once again.

Iron Man replied, "I need your blood."

“Okay.” Lin Feng squeezed a drop of blood from his palm and put it into the empty wine glass, but the glass was not handed to Iron Man.

"What do you want?" Iron Man asked again, his gaze shifting from the drop of blood to Lin Feng's eyes.

"Tell me about your current plans." Lin Feng put down his wine glass, the bottom of which made a crisp sound as it touched the coffee table.

Time flowed slowly by, and Iron Man's eyes flickered several times before he finally asked, "Do you know about the spacetime continuum?"

"Mm." Lin Feng nodded.

“Then you should also be aware of the continuity of time,” Iron Man said again.

"Mm." Lin Feng nodded again.

Upon seeing this, Iron Man said, "This zombie virus that ignores the flow of time has trapped us at a point in time, like a slice of bread cut from a loaf of bread and sandwiched in the middle of the flow of time."

"Hmm..." Lin Feng thought seriously for a moment: "So?"

After a long pause, Iron Man finally spoke: "There is a force preventing me from leaving; this place is like a prison."

"Everywhere feels like a prison, yet nowhere feels like a prison," Lin Feng said casually, unconvinced.

The human heart is the prison.

“I can leave here,” Iron Man said. “Besides, there’s nothing here to miss. I can go out into a wider world.”

"Yes." Lin Feng nodded. There was no right or wrong in this kind of situation.

"You'll find out soon enough." Iron Man glanced at the blood on the table, and Lin Feng nodded and handed it over.

Let's see what the other party can come up with from this drop of blood.

Before long, Tina and Gilgamesh returned to Stark Tower. Lin Feng, who was sitting on the sofa, spotted Gilgamesh and raised his arm to wave from afar.

Night fell quickly, and after several hours of silence, one of the elevators suddenly started running. The ticking numbers attracted Lin Feng, and the elevator came to his floor and stopped.

A burly figure appeared, the lingering aroma of dinner wafting from him, followed by a pair of angry eyes.

Who exactly are you?

Gilgamesh walked heavily over, stepped into this cold and desolate place, and stood in the moonlight.

"Me?" Lin Feng sat up from his lying position and said seriously, "Human."

“You are not human.” Gilgamesh’s hands, gripping the sofa armrest, glowed with energy gauntlets that creaked as he squeezed them. “I have never seen a human like you in thousands of years, not even those who possess the power to destroy the earth.”

"Hmm... but none of those people are the same, are they?" Lin Feng smiled, his gaze falling slightly on the pair of gauntlets.

"What exactly is causing the changes in Tina? Stark says it's all your fault!" Gilgamesh moved closer again, slamming his hands on the table, suppressing his anger, and growled, "What is your purpose?"

This was different from what they had said before. Tina's change terrified him. He wanted to take Tina back to the spaceship for a second checkup, but Tina refused all his requests and even began to distance herself from him, distancing herself from the Eternals, the identity that brought them so much pride.

Lin Feng withdrew his gaze and fixed it on Gilgamesh's angry face, saying each word clearly, "Do you really want to know the truth?"

"tell me!"

"Hmm... Let's make a deal. I'll tell you the truth, and you need to give me your power." Lin Feng sighed inwardly. This was probably what the participants had to do, and what had to be done in the Nightmare Space.

The people in the mission world are like pitiful leeks, constantly being harvested by the plot, by reality, by fate... and by them.

Gilgamesh's expression changed as he recalled the scene when Iron Man handed the Space Stone to Lin Feng. A surge of anger rose within him: "Fine! Tell me!"

As the voice faded, a notification from the Nightmare Space appeared before his eyes.

"A deal from Gilgamesh: a cosmic energy exoskeleton."

"The creators of the Abnormal Race are also your creators, but they betrayed us. Your creators created you to protect life because they needed enough life to incubate new gods." Lin Feng's icy voice pierced Gilgamesh's ears, and everything seemed to collapse: "Their incubation represents the destruction of the planet."

"The purpose of your existence is... to induce labor."

Lin Feng coldly uttered the last two words, and a surge of golden energy was drawn from Gilgamesh's body and suddenly entered his hand.

"No!"

“It’s nothing. You can ask Tina. She already knows a little bit.” Lin Feng said, looking down at the golden gauntlets that had materialized in his hand.

This power is similar to the magic of Kamar-Taj, but... this power triggers the Curse of the Coprophagists.

No!

Lin Feng rejected the curse of the cod-eaters, thus separating the two.

Click!

Gilgamesh crushed the sofa, but the energy still flowed around him, only much weaker.

Soon, the forlorn figure stepped onto the elevator and pressed the button.

“If…” Lin Feng suddenly spoke, his tone unusually calm: “If you’re unhappy, you can look at it from a different perspective. At least you’re working for God. The birth of a noble God is certainly greater than that of all ‘ordinary’ life on this planet.”

Yeah?

Will this make up for all the regrets in my heart?

god?
