Chapter 1: Start Binding to Infinite Wealth System

Brain Storage

When Zhang Wenyu was born, her parents searched through poetry and literature before choosing this name for her. It's a line from the poem "Yu Pei ascends to the Azure Palace, and the luxuriant flowers descend to the Purple Palace." It implies that the girl has good moral character and a kind heart.

When she grew up, Zhang Wenyu became as gentle and kind as her parents hoped.

If a person's fate could really be determined by his name, she would have liked her parents to have named her Zhang Youqian. After all, this name would have become "Xiao Zhang" after she graduated from university and entered the workplace.

"Xiao Zhang, have you submitted the materials for this project?"

"It has been reported."

"Xiao Zhang, please scan this document."

"Okay, Sister Qin."

Zhang Wenyu was busy as soon as she got to work on Monday morning.

I had just finished scanning the documents my colleague needed when a young man with oiled hair, who looked like he hadn't washed it for a month, came over. Before he even arrived, the man with a beer belly that was about to burst the buttons of his shirt arrived first.

There were three gold rings on the short, fat fingers that were placed on the table, and a lady's watch was tied tightly on the wrist. The fat on both sides of the wristband had been squeezed red, and the two red pimples that looked ripe were becoming more and more obvious on the chubby white face.

Liu Hai looked at Zhang Wenyu with disdain, a questioning look on his face.

"Xiao Zhang, why haven't you sent me the table I asked you to compile yesterday?"

"Huh? What watch? You didn't tell me about it yesterday."

Zhang Wenyu was stunned when he heard this and wanted to use his mobile phone to look through the chat history.

Liu Hai frowned immediately when he heard it.

"The business entertainment statistics for the first half of the year! Why didn't I tell you? Didn't I tell you in person yesterday?"

As he spoke, he tried to increase his presence by widening his eyes, but they could only barely survive between the cracks in his flesh. Instead, the nostrils on his upturned nose grew larger with his efforts. His 1.65-meter height seemed even shorter against the backdrop of his 200-pound weight. Standing before the 1.7-meter-tall Zhang Wenyu, he looked like a giant toad squinting.

Seeing his bluffing, Zhang Wenyu understood that Liu Hai probably wanted to push the work to her again and was being lazy, and he found such a poor excuse, so she simply reminded him.

"Brother Liu, yesterday was the weekend, did you remember it wrong?"

"That's what Friday said."

Liu Hai, whose secret was exposed, did not seem to panic at all. He looked at Zhang Wenyu with his chin raised and said coldly.

"Mr. Wang needs it for his meeting this afternoon. Send it to me now."

After saying that, he went back to his office with his head held high. Zhang Wenyu, who was left standing, was so angry at Liu Hai's arrogant and domineering attitude that she fell backwards.

Liu Hai relies on the fact that he is a relative of the deputy general manager and shows off his power in the company every day. He can make eight hundred mistakes in a job and he will pass the blame whenever a mistake is made. But he has a backer.

Vice President Wang Jiawei, his brother-in-law, got drunk and acted rashly while entertaining a client last month, ruining a recently negotiated deal. Management ultimately gave him nothing more than a verbal reprimand, but his month-end bonus remained intact. Everyone in the company knew who he was, so no one bothered him. However, he was also wary of his superiors, fearing retaliation, so he usually gave in when conflicts arose. Sometimes, he even had to cover for his mistakes.

Zhang Wenyu had to work overtime because of his stupid behavior. But Liu Hai was not ashamed of it, but proud of it. He thought everyone was afraid of him, and he became even more excited.

"Fat Liu is slacking off again?"

Sister Tian, who lives diagonally opposite, is an old employee of the company and has always disliked the style of bangs.

"It was clearly Mr. Wang who asked him to do these things, but now he's pushing them onto you. I have some relevant data here. Let me send it to you to see if it's useful."

Another colleague Jiang Yan also chimed in.

"It's okay. This table was counted last month. I have a backup here. You can modify it and use it."

"Thank you, Brother Jiang, thank you, Sister Tian. I'm glad to have you. I'll treat you to coffee."

Zhang Wenyu, who was so angry that she wanted to curse, was instantly surrounded by the kindness of her office colleagues and was moved to tears. If it weren't for these colleagues who always warmed and helped her, she would have collapsed and returned home.

Sister Tian and Brother Jiang also like this diligent and smart little girl. She is polite and grateful, and is much easier to get along with than those old-fashioned people. Naturally, they are willing to help her.

When they heard Zhang Wenyu say that he would treat them to coffee, they all smiled.

"Hahaha, Xiao Zhang, you are too polite."

The office was in harmony at this time.

Zhang Wenyu was born in an ordinary family in a fourth-tier small city. She has a father, a mother and a five-year-old brother. Her family structure is the same as that of most of her friends.

An introvert and average student, she got into an average high school after the junior high school entrance exam and a third-tier university after the college entrance exam. Just as she had always impressed her, she was neither good nor bad, just an ordinary, obedient child.

Unexpectedly, my rebellious phase arrived late. After graduation, I refused to return to my hometown, insisting on staying in the big city to strive for success. But big cities are not so easy to survive in. From the high-spirited and ambitious initial graduation, my expectations gradually dropped, and I finally found my current job as an office clerk at the company I work for.

I have one day off a week, and my salary is 5,000 yuan. After deducting the five social insurances, I still have a little over 4,000 yuan left. I share a house with two other girls, and it costs 1,200 yuan a month, and that's the price in the suburbs. Fortunately, my company is not in the city center, so it's quite convenient to go to work.

After deducting the rent every month, there is still 3,000 yuan left, but this 3,000 yuan also allows her to survive in this city.

Zhang Wenyu, who had been busy all morning, was having lunch with his colleagues.

Qin Miao, who was having dinner at the same table with Zhang Wenyu, came to the company a year earlier. Recently, there were major personnel changes in the company, and the head of their sales department was transferred to the head office. Now the sales department is leaderless, and the remaining sales staff are in an awkward situation.
