Chapter 8 The Manager's Decision

Zhang Wenyu watched this dramatic scene coldly.

She never expected that when she came back again she would encounter the same salesperson bullying customers.

I simply stood aside and waited to see how Manager Lena would handle the situation.

Li Na was also very angry. If Elvis wasn't kept an eye on, something would happen.

Something happened at home that morning, and she was only an hour late, but Elvis had already offended Zhang Wenyu, the God of Wealth. While she was out looking for someone, Elvis had another complaint against her.

She knew Elvis was lazy and liked to take advantage of customers, but she saw that he was sweet-talking and tactful when selling goods. Since his sales were decent, she only criticized or fined him. She never imagined he would bully customers privately. No wonder he had such a high closing rate; it turned out he was driving away all those potential clients.

Li Na made up her mind to deal with him and naturally did not delay. She spoke directly to Elvis.

"Elvis, you are fired. Please turn in your work clothes and badge immediately and leave."

Elvis was still thinking about receiving big customers, and when he heard that the store manager wanted to fire him, he was completely dumbfounded.

"Fire me? Why? Just because of these two poor bastards!?"

Li Na came from a low-level sales background, and Elvis' words were extremely irritating to her. She even wondered if she had been blind before and why she hadn't seen his true face.

"The most basic thing for a salesperson is service attitude! You should treat every customer with enthusiasm and never give up on any customer! Instead of being condescending, picky, and discriminatory towards customers! As a service provider, if you can't be anxious about what customers need and think about what they want, you will never be a qualified salesperson! We can't afford someone like you! You are fired now, please leave immediately!"

When Elvis saw that the store manager really wanted to fire him, he immediately backed down.

"Sister, I was wrong. I won't dare to do it again. Please give me another chance. Isn't it enough for me to apologize to them?" As she said that, she was about to turn around and apologize to the young couple.

But Li Na didn't buy it.

"That's two incidents I've heard of today alone, and I don't know how many more there are than I've heard of. Our brand's reputation is being ruined by people like you!"

Elvis didn't understand why Liu Na said it twice.

"What do you mean twice? Isn't it just this time? Manager, someone must have framed me. I wasn't like this before. I was just a little anxious when I heard that a distinguished guest was coming. It's all a misunderstanding."

Zhang Wenyu was amazed by Elvis's sophistry and stood up from behind Li Na and said.

"Why, have you forgotten about this morning so quickly?"

Elvis turned his head quickly when he heard that.

The person who spoke was a young girl wearing a white Chanel dress, a Hermès crocodile leather glacier white and purple Kelly Doll on her back, and a Patek Philippe Nautilus watch full of diamonds on her wrist.

Elvis felt that the other person looked familiar, but he really couldn't remember when he had offended this young lady who looked very rich, and he was very confused.

There is no way I could offend these young ladies.

But this young lady obviously disliked him, so he could only bow his head.

"Miss, I apologize if my service is not satisfactory to you. I'm sorry, but I don't remember serving you this morning."

Zhang Wenyu looked at him and smiled.

"Of course I haven't served you before. After all, you stopped me as soon as I entered."

As soon as these words were spoken, Elvis immediately remembered them, and he looked at Zhang Wenyu with disbelief on his face.

"It's you?! How could it be you! Where did a country bumpkin like you get these things?"

Li Na interrupted him because he was talking nonsense.

"This is Miss Zhang, a senior member of the mall and a VIP of our store. It's not surprising that Miss Zhang owns these things."

How could Elvis accept this truth?

"No, manager, you must have been fooled by her. She wasn't dressed like this this morning. The canvas bag she was carrying was all scuffed. How could such a country bumpkin be our distinguished guest?"

In front of Zhang Wenyu, Li Na naturally would not let him continue to make slanderous remarks.

"The mall has already distributed Ms. Zhang's information to all stores. Didn't you see it? Besides, there were over a dozen store managers who personally certified Ms. Zhang. How could it be fake? You're fired now. Get out of here!"

Elvis really didn't see it. He was lazy and loved to steal customers. His colleagues didn't like him, so naturally no one told him what Zhang Wenyu looked like.

However, at this moment, he obviously could not accept the fact that Zhang Wenyu, whom he looked down upon, was actually a rich young lady.

"No, I won't go. This is impossible! How can she be rich? Impossible, impossible."

Li Na didn't care whether he believed it or not.

"I will report your actions to headquarters. No one in our company will hire anyone like you. I will also deduct the cost of your badge and uniform from your remaining salary. Security! Please remove this troublemaker and do not allow him to enter the mall again."

Elvis never expected that the security guard he had called to kick people out ended up kicking him out.

News is always shared among people in the same industry. Word spreads from one person to ten, and from ten to a hundred, until all the major shopping malls have heard of this person.

After being fired, Elvis was still thinking about finding another job, but every time he went to a counter, the interview went well, but after looking at his resume, they knew that he was the one who was fired by LV, and everyone knew what kind of person he was, so naturally no one dared to hire him.

Elvis spent two or three months searching for a job. His lavish spending spree quickly depleted his savings. His landlord kept coming to him to demand rent, but he had no money left and didn't want to leave the city, so he begged for a few more days. After two weeks of patience, seeing Elvis still had no signs of finding a job, the landlord gave up and had his belongings packed up and thrown out.

Elvis went out to look for a job and came back. As soon as he entered the corridor, he saw his things thrown in the corner. He ran to the landlord angrily to argue, but was rebuked by the landlord.

"How can you rent a house if you don't have money?! Hurry up and grab your things and get out, or I'll throw you out too!"

Elvis looked at the two burly men beside the landlord, then looked at his own thin arms and legs, and could only walk away in shame.

Unable to stay in the big city, Elvis finally returned to the small county town he looked down upon.

Prices and wages were low in small towns. Having experienced the prosperity of big cities, Elvis simply couldn't accept it. He had to look for a new job after only three or four months.

Because he kept getting in and out of jobs, his resume was a mess. No HR department would dare to hire such an unstable person. In the end, he could only rely on odd jobs to make a living, and became the person he used to look down on the most.

However, LV store manager Li Na didn't care what would happen to Elvis at that moment. Her current problem was how to restore customers' impression of her store.

"Ms. Zhang, we're very sorry for the unpleasant shopping experience you've had. We'll definitely learn from this, improve employee quality management, and never make the same mistake again. This is just a small token of our appreciation, please accept it."

After saying that, he handed over a packaging bag.

Zhang Wenyu looked at her and said meaningfully.

"Just an apology to me?"
