Waves crashed against the surface, causing the floating board to rise and fall. Xia Chuhe had to exert all his strength to keep his balance.
The man in the suit leaned against Xia Chuhe from behind, half-embracing and half-hugging her. His hand inadvertently gripped Xia Chuhe's lower abdomen.
The floatboard lurched and, as it took off, struck a rope that shouldn't have been there at all.
The float was suddenly overturned, and the man in the suit fell into the water, but Xia Chuhe strangely landed back on the float.
The floating board happened to drift to the area where the waterfall plunged three thousand feet.
Xia Chuhe saw a piece of black cloth falling faster than flowing water.
A dark shadow loomed over Xia Chuhe—he was behind me! The man in the suit was behind me! Before I could turn around, he would definitely push me into the water!
Xia Chuhe suddenly turned his head, his hands clenched into fists.
The waves behind her splashed water all over her face.
There was no one, nothing.

The keyboard, untouched by anyone, bounced up and down with a clattering sound.
Click-click, the mouse flies left and right uncontrolled.
Xia Chuhe held his breath and shrank under the computer desk.

The sound of high heels clicking on the floor echoed like a death knell in the noisy internet cafe.

A strange light flashed quickly in Lu Dangui's eyes. She shook her head, indicating that it was alright.
Xia Chuhe propped his head up, too afraid to sleep any longer.
The aftereffects of nightmares are too strong.
It's unclear whether this nightmare was a product of her daytime thoughts or a curse from the dandelion.
If it's the former, then that's too much of a coincidence.
During this time, Xia Chuhe found some clues about her parents in the wasteland, and she began to consciously recall her childhood and adolescence.
The things in her nightmares were, in fact, variations of the unfortunate events in her life.
Xia Chuhe shook his head, trying to banish the scene from his dream; dreams were far more terrifying than reality.
