There are only 20 nautical miles left before the sea ice.

The weather was originally sunny, but suddenly a strong wind blew in dark clouds.

The inky clouds were pushed by strong winds and approached the cruise ship at a high speed.

Not far away, through the dense rain curtain, a flash of lightning penetrated the thick clouds, and the dark sea water was instantly illuminated.

The ship once again swayed violently along the sea, and the pots and pans in the restaurant seemed to be on a seesaw, tilting to the left and then returning to the right.

Pei Wei was closing the doors and windows. Because of the rain, her hand slipped and she lost her grip on the door handle. The cruise ship suddenly tilted sideways. She slipped and fell to her knees, hitting her head heavily on the cupboard.

My eyes went dark and my consciousness became blurred.

Su Wanxing and Liu Ying in the cockpit were not in a much better situation either. The strong winds caused huge waves, and the cruise ship was heaving violently, with the bow being lifted into the sky by the waves!

After hanging in the air for nearly a second, the bow fell back to the sea surface under its own gravity, and the weight of 15 tons caused the bow to split the waves fiercely.

After sinking for about a second, the ship seemed to have become a big spoon, scooping up a mouthful of salty sea water, and was bounced out of the sea by the reaction force, just like a toy played by the god of death.

After two consecutive jumps, Su Wanxing had been bumping into things for several rounds, and his body was almost broken.

But the ship showed no intention of stopping. Before the next wave hit, Su Wanxing held on to the driving seat, and then there was another violent collision.

This ups and downs feeling is like...a pirate ship in an amusement park!

The cruise ship's route changed from a straight line to an arc, the bow rose and fell, and the feeling of weightlessness when falling was especially dizzying.

Plus, it had taken in a lot of water, so the cockpit was flooded!

Most of Su Wanxing's trouser legs were wet. "Master's wife...what should we do?" She had only learned how to sail a boat, and when she encountered a storm at sea, she seemed to have turned back into a babbling child.

After barely standing steady, Su Wanxing leaned sideways and looked straight ahead.

Dark clouds passed by, thunder roared, and the small cruise ship under the sky was like a green-headed fly flying around. In the face of powerful nature, the cruise ship was the unscrupulous source of pollution.

The best way to solve the source of pollution is to kill it with a fly swatter!

Waves about five meters high were displayed in front of her eyes through a holographic projection, but Su Wanxing felt powerless facing such a huge monster. The thick ocean was surging wildly, and they really seemed like they were about to be crushed under a fly swatter.

Eventually, it became a twisted corpse with blood and flesh flying everywhere...

"Go with the waves and against the wind!" Liu Ying was tripped by the influx of sea water and only now grabbed the safety rope inside the boat.

"What!" Su Wanxing only saw her mouth moving, and his ears were filled with the shrill sound of the wind whistling.

Liu Ying struggled to get up and grabbed the rudder, "We must not turn now! Otherwise, we will be thrown into the sea by the huge waves and become the next Titanic that no one cares about."

But the wind was blowing hard, the waves were surging, and the biting cold penetrated into every cell of her hands. Liu Ying's hands were trembling, and she was no match for the rudder being pulled by external forces.

It’s getting colder!

Su Wanxing's fingertips were stiff and his mouth couldn't help trembling. The sea ice was probably not far away!

"Bang!"

The sound of heaven and earth collapsing.

The bow of the ship went up with the waves, and the towering water wall was forced to separate, but the force on the sea surface came from all directions, and the force points were extremely uneven, causing Liu Ying, who was trying hard to control the rudder, to suddenly capsize, and the rudder whizzed back.

The entire ship suddenly tilted higher on the left and lower on the right. If the out-of-control rudder was not grabbed in time, the luxury cruise ship, which was like a small boat between heaven and earth, would be swallowed up in an instant and sink into the deep sea for ever.

Su Wanxing happened to grab the fixed driving seat instead of the dangling safety rope.

Her strong desire to survive prompted her to urgently withdraw the inverted rudder with both hands the moment Liu Ying let go. Her feet were firmly fixed to the driving seat by the little snake acting as ropes, maintaining her balance for a moment.

The rudder was corrected in time and successfully split the heavy waves. The ship bounced up and down for a few seconds as if on a roller coaster, and slowly returned to the horizontal plane.

Fierce waves hit the boat, but the bow welcomed a new lease of life.

Su Wanxing held the rudder steadily, then looked down at the monitoring device, "The typhoon is not coming in our direction, it's just passing by..."

What responded to Su Wanxing was the dead silence after the storm.

[Blessing of the Seagod] Passively triggered!

[Your calmness in the crisis is greatly appreciated by Poseidon, who has decided to clear the haze ahead for you. Luck value +1%]

[Current luck value: 2%]

Su Wanxing used her consciousness to turn off the control panel that was flashing golden light, and when she looked up again, the storm stopped as the typhoon left.

But...storms at sea not only destroy ships, but also people.

Pei Wei didn't know what was going on, and no one responded no matter how she called out; Liu Ying suffered internal injuries from the collision and leaned against the wall to recuperate.

In order to fix Su Wanxing's feet, the little snake seemed to have shed a layer of skin; the velociraptor Xiaohua was a terrestrial animal and could not swim, so it was lucky that it did not fall into the sea; Daju was forced to take a cold shower and sneezed from the cold.

"We're here." Su Wanxing said softly.

The sunlight penetrates the clouds, and the icebergs protruding from the sea are like a bowl of rice, shining brightly.

The ship moved forward slowly, and the outline of the sea ice unfolded into view.

Su Wanxing couldn't help but shiver and quickly wrapped her cotton jacket tightly.

The clouds gradually thinned, the dark clouds retreated, and the blue sky appeared. The cruise ship sailed smoothly along the sea ice according to the set route.

This bowl of protruding rice was actually much taller than the cruise ship. Su Wanxing could hardly imagine whether the consequences would be even more tragic than the Titanic if it hit the iceberg overlooking the ship due to a storm at sea.

At least the Titanic in the movie was given dramatic visual stimulation and sensory thrills, while a shipwreck in reality is as easy as humans lifting a tablecloth.

"boom--"

The dull and long sound of falling into the water.

Su Wanxing saw that the iceberg was melting at a speed visible to the naked eye. Waves splashed from the corners of the iceberg from time to time. Those were large chunks of ice that absorbed heat due to global warming and turned into broken ice, which eventually fell into the ocean and melted.

Su Wanxing didn’t think the scene in front of him was cool at all!

Instead, they thought that the slowly falling broken ice resembled the collapse of a building, and the white waves it raised were like dust that buried humanity.

As glaciers melt and sea levels rise, where will humans go without land?

Su Wanxing tried hard to survive, but at the same time she was darkly looking forward to the end of the world without land! Humans are really contradictory multicellular organisms.

The iceberg that had once frightened people had been left behind by the cruise ship, and the road ahead was calm.

Su Wanxing slumped down in the driver's seat belatedly and let out a long sigh. Perhaps it was the exhaustion of surviving a disaster, or perhaps it was the emptiness and powerlessness after riding the wind and waves.

Every time she faced a disaster, she was like an ant that was trampled on at will, fragile and insignificant.

In short, I'm so tired.

She lifted her heavy eyelids, glanced at the sea water that covered her ankles, and tilted her head to check the messy machinery and equipment. Fortunately, the circuits of the luxury cruise ship were waterproof, otherwise they would most likely have become "electric fish".

Luckily, they avoided the typhoon for the entire afternoon. Pei Wei, who was knocked unconscious, treated her skin injuries and busily cleaned up the kitchen which was littered with fruits and vegetables. Liu Ying adjusted her breathing for a while and joined the drainage operation.

Su Wanxing was busy running back and forth.

I am destined to have a good sleep tonight.

The next day was the sixth day of escaping at sea.

If nothing unexpected happens, we will enter the waters of City B and go ashore successfully by tomorrow morning at the latest.

So today will be the last night for the three of us to spend time together.

Pei Wei got up early and planned to prepare a seafood feast, which could be considered a celebration of successfully avoiding the typhoon and sea ice.

The first thing that caught my eye was the rosy and shiny steamed king crab, which retained the original freshness of the king crab to the greatest extent. Next to the king crab was the garlic lobster, with a lobster head as thick as a wrist standing on the plate.

Here we have cheese red claw shrimps, and you can smell the rich cheese flavor from a distance. Then look at the spicy red crab, oh my, the full crab roe is embellished with green onions, it's so delicious!

The spicy fried octopus is so delicious that it makes you dizzy!

Pei Wei just brought out the freshly-cooked braised abalone and continued to prepare oysters.

Su Wanxing couldn't help herself and helped herself to a small bowl of abalone rice. She also garnished the white rice with a few broccoli flowers. How healthy!

"Tonight is a gout banquet." Liu Ying helped bring out the sashimi platter.

Su Wanxing pulled out a small song-ordering machine at the right time, took out the microphone and sang loudly to the endless sea, "You are the most beautiful cloud in my sky——"

Big Orange, Little Snake and Little Flower are arranged in order of height, swaying their heads to the rhythm of the music.

"Master's wife, can you sing a song?" Su Wanxing put the microphone close to Liu Ying's mouth, but Liu Ying pushed it away ruthlessly.

"I'll do it!" Pei Wei drank a little wine and looked a little tipsy, and then she sang one song after another.

Su Wanxing had some free time to eat and served his master's wife her favorite lactic acid bacteria drink.

"Master's wife, what are your plans after we get ashore?"

Liu Ying especially loves spicy crayfish. She ate until her mouth was swollen but still not satisfied. "If the mission is not over by then, I will find a tree and continue to live in seclusion."

Hmm... Su Wanxing nodded slowly, "What about my subsequent courses?"

"Let it be." Liu Ying was very decisive.

Su Wanxing did not give up. "I have only learned how to throw hidden weapons, but they are not offensive at all. Master's wife, do you have any contact information or address in your native world? I will continue to send you Leduo!"

"If we are destined to meet, we will meet each other." Liu Ying said, "You have already mastered the throwing technique. All you need to do next is spend more time."

Su Wanxing racked her brains to chew a piece of lobster meat. The firm texture made her think quickly.

"Ahahahaha! I missed you so much!" Pei Wei suddenly appeared while singing and holding the microphone, scaring Su Wanxing so much that her mouth, which was biting the lobster, trembled.

"Sister Weiwei, you've drunk too much. Take a break. Isn't your throat dry?" Su Wanxing pulled Pei Wei to sit down.

Pei Wei picked up the freshly opened red wine and drank it in one gulp.

"Sister, sister!" Su Wanxing hurriedly snatched the red wine bottle, "You can't do this!"

Liu Ying's accurate assessment: "I didn't expect Pei Wei to have two faces."

"Why do you smell like corn?" Pei Wei said drunkenly.

Su Wanxing scratched his head embarrassedly, "My father is from Northeast China. Although I haven't seen him since I was a child, I always habitually learn the Northeast accent."

"Is that so?" Pei Wei looked sad. "My mom and dad divorced when I was very young. My mom fought hard for my custody. When I saw my dad again, he had another child, and I had a younger sister."

Pei Wei continued to talk: "But, my sister is very rebellious. It's probably because her family of origin is full of quarrels and complaints. Later, she got pregnant right after graduating from high school. I had just started working at the time. I raised money for her surgery and urged her to take the adult college entrance examination..."

"Later, when she died in the delivery room, I realized that not only did she not have an abortion, but she also squeezed out the last of her life in order to give birth to a boy..." Pei Wei smiled bitterly.

Drunk people especially like to reminisce about the past. Alcohol can even make a usually gentle person fall into obsession and madness.

"It's not her fault." Su Wanxing tried to comfort her, "What has trapped her life is never her knowledge and experience, but her indifference to her original family."

Pei Wei said: "Yes, if I stayed in my original family, the one who died would probably be the callous me."

"Fortunately, you are still alive," Liu Ying never liked to listen to other people's gossip, but she was still shocked by the gears of fate, "You are still alive and conscious."

"So, Wanxing, I found my real sister in this world." A smile appeared on Pei Wei's lost face, like a rose blooming its beautiful stamens in the bitter frost.

Su Wanxing was completely stunned. She had never thought of maintaining any identity with anyone other than fake friends, but just now, her heart was beating inexplicably with joy.

After her grandparents passed away one after another, there were still people willing to open their hearts and accept her.

"Oh my, this is so corny!" Liu Ying stubbornly broke the atmosphere, "Can we change the subject?"

Pei Wei rolled her eyes gently, "It's unromantic. At the end of the story, my parents and relatives in my native world contracted a new disease called 'Banbaiban' and died one after another."

"Me too." Su Wanxing lowered his eyes dejectedly.

"What is 'half a hundred spots'?" Liu Ying asked in confusion.

Su Wanxing was shocked. This new disease, Banbaiban, had lasted for four years. When it broke out, it caused a sensation around the world. How could Liu Ying not know about it? !

"It is a new virus that only affects people over 50 years old," Pei Wei patiently explained. "It can be transmitted through the air, but it is limited by human age. Once you are over 50, it is only a matter of time before you get sick."

After hearing this, Liu Ying fell silent, revealing a melancholy after suddenly realizing the truth.

Su Wanxing also lowered his head and fiddled with his watch, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

"Our ship has connected to the satellite signal of the waterway regulatory department of City B!"

This means they were rescued!
