Chapter 17 Ji Qianchong feels that this man becomes more childish as he grows older

After the movie, Ji Qianchong dragged Ji Liangnian to the mall. They spent several hours shopping, and the man remained as patient as ever.

I will wait patiently for her to try on clothes and give her some suggestions.

Entering the Chanel flagship store, Ji Qianchong chose a short dress in nude pink with retro-style drapes on both sides.

Coming out of the fitting room, the girl tossed her hair, lowered her eyes, and fastened her belt with her hands behind her back. Out of habit, she called him, "Brother."

The man was sitting on the sofa. When he heard her voice, he put down the magazine and stood up.

He walked over to the full-length mirror, behind her. He took her wrists and removed her hands from the belt.

She lowered her head slightly and carefully tied a bow. Looking at the bow in her hand, Ji Liangnian was in a trance for a moment.

My mind seemed to go blank for a moment.

Then, it returned to its usual cold and indifferent state.

He glanced at the girl's slender white legs under the skirt and said softly: "Girls shouldn't wear such short skirts. There are not so many good people in the world."

The girl raised her head and glanced back at him, meeting his eyes. When the man's eyes touched her face, they softened in an instant.

It's an instinct.

It seemed that whenever he was with her, his heart would soften. He couldn't find any reason, it was just a habit his body had formed.

A habit ingrained in our bones.

"So do you think I look good in this dress? I have a professional internship at school in two months, so I'll be away for half a month."

Hearing her words, the man's face gradually darkened. "Are you going to go out dressed like this?"

Ji Qianchong raised his eyes and thought seriously, "It is said that we are going to El Island, with beaches, sea water and sunshine, so the clothes should be like this..."

Out of the corner of her eye, she accidentally glanced at the man's face.

What appeared in Ji Qianchong's eyes was the man's unhappy expression.

She immediately stopped what she was about to say, turned around, stood on tiptoe, put her arms around his neck, and nuzzled his face affectionately. "I'm so lazy, I definitely won't pack my own luggage. When the time comes, you can prepare the clothes for me, and I'll wear them."

This man is quite jealous.

Ji Qianchong knew this a long time ago.

Back in the old Qianjia house in Haicheng, the neighbors were all quite friendly. There was a little boy who was about the same age as her and they went to the same school.

We meet more often.

Later, Ji Liangnian was wary of the little boy next door as if he were a thief.

He would pick her up from school on time every day. Once, when she was about to walk to the school gate, the little boy ran over and gave her a string of candied haws.

Before she could hold it firmly, Ji Liangnian, who walked up to her, snatched it away. He threw it directly into the trash can beside him without any consideration.

Because of this incident, he was angry with her for a long time. Whenever he saw something red, he would say, "Is the candied haws delicious?"

“…”

It is said that people become more mature as they grow older.

Ji Qianchong felt that this sentence was inappropriate for Ji Liangnian. The older he got, the more childish he became.

Just a simple mention of clothing and his face darkened.

Ji Qianchong smiled, and with the hand that was around his neck, he gently stroked his neck with his fingertips. In a voice that only the two of them could hear, he said, "Buy it back and I'll wear it for you to see."

"It's a pretty dress. You think it looks good too, right?"

She stared at his brows and looked at him deeply, seeing her expression in his eyes.

The man tilted his head, looking away from her face. He pinched her waist and pushed her back a little, "Go change your clothes."

"Okay." She listened to him very much.

After Ji Qianchong left, the waiter in the store came over respectfully and asked, "Sir, is there anything I can help you with?"

The man glanced at the five dresses on the hanger that Ji Qianchong had tried on. "Pack those up." He paused and added, "And the one she just wore."

Waiter: “Yes, sir.”
