Chapter 116 Author's Remarks (shuhaige.net)

Hello everyone, this is the writer who loves to slack off for three days.

This book will be officially available today, December 10th, at 12 noon.

It went on sale without me even realizing it, it felt quite sudden... after all, it's my first time...

Those who have made it this far are probably true fans, since the beginning of this book is quite toxic, and very few people can endure it and get this far.

As you can see, I am a new author. This book is the first novel I have ever written seriously. My writing style is very immature, as you can probably tell.

The reason I initially decided to write this book wasn't because I had any other ideas; I simply wanted to write my own novel, and that's how it started.

These days, very few people make money by writing novels. I understood from the beginning that this line of work is not profitable and there is no income, so I only treat it as a hobby.

After all, I have a proper job, and it's a 997 work system with only one day off a month. I'm the ultimate corporate slave, and I understand how difficult it is to make money and that my skills are simply not up to par.

But I still wrote it, and I've kept at it until now.

If it weren't for passion, who would give up their precious remaining leisure time to dedicate their already limited time to writing?

Isn't it tiring to work every day while also having to come up with novel plots in your head? Yes, it is, but why do you still persist?

Because you are still reading, and because I want to write more.

I am a person of integrity and rarely break my promises. When I started writing this book, I promised that it would never be abandoned. I don't want to break my promise, so I don't want to give up. No matter how busy I am at work or how long I stay up late, I will maintain an update speed of one chapter per day. This is already my limit.

During this time, I've received a lot of criticism and insults. Every time I see comments like these, my fragile heart gets hurt a little, and I've often thought about whether I should just stop writing. After all, if I don't write well, people will only criticize me, and not many people will like to read it.

But in the end, I chose to glue my wounded heart back together and persevere. I'm not just writing this book for those of you who still want to read it; I'm writing it for my own dream. I want to write a book, I want to write my own novel.

I'm a person who really enjoys reading novels, and I'm also a very quiet person. When I read novels written by other authors, if I like one, I'll follow it. Even if I don't like it, I won't criticize it; I'll just quietly unsubscribe. I know that every work is the author's creation, the author's hard work. Even if I don't like it, I shouldn't directly criticize it. Doing so only lowers my own standards and damages the author's confidence, which is completely pointless.

Actually, I envy the authors. I envy them for being able to write these novels, and I also respect the authors very much because without authors, we would have no novels to read. Furthermore, I also admire the authors. Which novel reader doesn't want to personally depict their own imagined world?

Perhaps, if one only wants to satisfy one's creative desires, it is acceptable to handwrite a novel in a small notebook, lock it up, and put it in a cabinet. However, if that is the case, such a work cannot be considered a novel; it is merely a story for one person's own enjoyment.

A true novel needs more than just a story; it also needs readers. A new writer needs readers' appreciation to gradually grow.

So I mustered up the courage to write this book and then published it. Although it is a clumsy work that is an eyesore, it carries my own determination. Unlike those books I wrote before, which only had one chapter and then stopped, this one is a serious effort.

Over these many days, through 116 chapters, from the beginning to now, my writing has gradually improved. These are all traces of my growth and proof of my determination to finish this book.

For a new author, completing a book is a victory.

Enough with the rambling. Let's talk about updates and the upcoming plot...

Updates will continue as usual, one chapter per day. If I can write two chapters a day, I will update twice. After all, you can't expect a working adult to abandon their job and write every day. Writing really can't support a person.

So don't expect a lot of updates. You can decide how to use your monthly tickets and recommendation tickets. Please spend your money rationally on rewards and subscriptions. Just give a token amount.

Then there's the plot. This book is labeled as "infinite," so it can't possibly have only one world. However, there's still a lot of plot to be explored in the world of "The Healer," so the subsequent chapters of this world should be quite long as well.

Those who clicked on this book were probably attracted by the theme of the Healer, so I think they can accept that it's a bit longer.

Then, since it is a fan work, it is common to add secondary settings and make modifications based on the original settings. Although the author is a set-based person, he will not be too rigid. I hope that everyone can accept the subsequent modifications. There will be changes, but not too outrageous ones. At most, it will be patching up the original settings.

That's pretty much everything I wanted to say...

Finally, thank you all for your support along the way, and thank you to my editor.

I hope you will continue to support me in the future, and I also hope you will speak up more so that I can see that this book is still being read by people. If you have any good suggestions, I will listen to them carefully.

If you'd like to discuss the plot with the author, you can join the book club. The author will reply if they have time.
