Kreeher had a dream...
In her dream, she became Kyal and experienced his life.
That was the memory that Kyal transmitted to her, the memory from Kyal in the first playthrough.
From an ordinary orphaned fruit farmer who dreamed of becoming a hero, to becoming a hero after growing up, he was invited to the capital by Princess Freya, the hero of "Art," and lived a life of luxury.
It was like a beautiful dream, but everything began to change after meeting the "Sword Saint" Kreeher.
The time he used [Restore] on Kreeh was the first time he had used healing magic. He had not anticipated such a side effect at all. The pain that Kreeh had experienced across countless battlefields was simultaneously flooded into his brain, and he was knocked unconscious by the pain.
Upon waking, fearing the side effects, he refused to use healing magic on anyone else, and from that moment on, he sensed a change in Freya's attitude towards him...
A few days later, after drinking a cup of black tea provided by a maid, he woke up in the basement, chained up. Then Freya appeared and forcibly gave him an addictive drug.
Then, it was trained to be a dog, a dog that would use healing magic as long as it was given medicine, and that would do anything.
What was once a beautiful dream turned into a nightmare... He lost his personality and dignity, becoming a domestic animal to be manipulated at will.
After a year of being a dog in the basement, he was taken away by three heroes to form a team and level up.
After that, their lives as livestock remained unchanged.
Every day, she suffers abuse and humiliation from Freya, the hero of [Arts].
Every day, he suffers brutal beatings from the swordswoman, Breon.
Every day, she suffers the cruel love of the [Cannon] Hero, Brad.
After surviving for another two years, he finally regained consciousness due to drug resistance, but his life had been completely ruined, and he was too weak to take revenge on those three damned scumbags.
So, living under such circumstances, he pretended to be addicted to drugs while maintaining a clear mind, and spent a year until the day came to defeat the Demon King.
After the three heroes fell, he defeated the Demon King alone and obtained the Philosopher's Stone. At this moment, Freya, the hero of magic, drank a bottle of holy medicine hidden on her body, recovered from her injuries, and appeared before him, asking him to give her the Philosopher's Stone.
Freya promised him a happy life in the name of the royal family, as long as he handed over the Philosopher's Stone, and gave him a sweet smile.
However, through his recovery magic, he accessed the memories of many who knew the truth. He learned that the Kingdom of Geolar had used various means to fabricate false evidence, and that the war was caused by humans luring the demons to retaliate. Their goal was to kill the Demon King, obtain the Demon King's heart, the Philosopher's Stone, and use it to unleash a forbidden spell to conquer the world.
He could not allow this kingdom he hated to succeed, and he intended to use the Philosopher's Stone to achieve his own ends.
[Super Recovery]
Use the Philosopher's Stone to amplify Recovery, rewind time to four years ago, and start all over again.
He did just that; when he launched the attack, he swore to Freya that he would take everything from her in this round and destroy her life as well.
Then…when I woke up…
Kreeher slowly opened her sleepy eyes, staring blankly at the ceiling, and struggled to sit up in bed.
Scanning her surroundings, Kreh realized this was Kyal's room, and the dim night outside the window told her it was already evening.
"Finally awake, Kreeher?"
Kyal removed his hands from the gun parts on the workbench and turned to look at the white-haired girl who had finally woken up from her dizziness.
"Kayal...are those memories...real?"
Kreeh looked at Kyal's handsome face, her blue eyes filled with complex emotions.
"I have no reason to make up so much to lie to you. If you still don't believe me, then there's nothing I can do."
Kyal spoke calmly, leaving his seat and walking towards her.
"……sorry."
Kreeher lowered her head, unable to look at him any longer, because she felt like crying.
“I’m sorry… It was Kyal who wanted to tell me the truth… but I didn’t trust you… I even got angry with you… and even drew my sword against you…”
"It's alright, I don't care. It's not Kreeh's fault. Kreeh, you only chose to do this because you were deceived by the kingdom."
"...I'm sorry...Kayal endured so much pain to heal my right hand...and I still..."
“It’s okay. I just showed Kree my painful memories too, so we’re even now.”
In reality, most of what Kyal transmitted was only memory information, and he didn't experience much pain.
Kyal, you are so gentle...
Thinking of this, Kresh couldn't stop the tears from flowing. She felt so guilty for not trusting her benefactor, for drawing her sword against him, and for using such cruelty in the fight.
Kreeher felt even more distressed when she thought about how she herself was partly responsible for the abuse that Kyal had suffered in her memories.
Noticing that Kree's tears had soaked the sheets and left a few tear stains, Kyal's expression stiffened slightly. He was a lifelong single man and didn't know how to comfort a girl and tell her not to cry!
But she had no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it. Kyal gently patted her back and softly comforted her:
"It's okay, it's okay, I really didn't blame Kresh..."
