Ah Chen asked with a smile, "Didn't you call me?"

After looking around to make sure no one was eavesdropping, Ah Zhuang whispered to Uncle Ah Dong, "That shouldn't be the case. Ah Chen cares so much about the Holy Maiden and likes her so much, how could he not have reacted for a whole year?"
"You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask? Get lost!"
Uncle Dong was already seething with anger, and now that A Zhuang had come along, wasn't he just asking for trouble?
Back in the house, the mother-in-law was dissatisfied with Mu Achen's performance regarding the "Miao child" matter, but that was the only thing she was unhappy about.
In other respects, this son-in-law is impeccable.
I'm just too busy. I'm so busy that even a major life event like having a "Miao baby" has to be postponed.
