The protagonist has a merchant's nature, seeking profit. He's a linguistics (?) master, has a conscience but not much, and his personality is confident and aggressive. Because it's a "satisfying" novel, "bking" (cool/pretentious) moments often appear.
There are instance plots; there are also safe house plots. He's not always in the safe house.
