Take him to meet his parents

Ning Qiluo simply stood there without moving.

Langkawi at night has an even more captivating charm than during the day. As the lights come on, the interplay of light and shadow casts a hazy, dreamlike glow from the camphor trees lining the streets.

Ning Qiluo's mouth was filled with the rich, savory flavor of the soup.

His gaze fell upon the figure standing not far away. He was elegant and aloof, towering seven feet tall, wearing a thin gray shirt with the cuffs rolled up halfway up, revealing half of his arm. In his hand, he held a coat.

It was still a scene that moved her heart.

After standing there stunned for about a minute, Ning Qiluo finally took off running towards him.

Although she had promised not to come looking for her and to wait for her to return to the North City, on the streets of Langkawi, surrounded by strangers, she saw an incredibly familiar figure.

"Why did you come here so quietly again?"

She didn't dare to throw herself into his arms, as she was holding oden in her hand and was afraid of getting it on his clothes.

Jiang Yingchi reached out and pulled her into his arms, his large, dry palm covering the back of her head, pressing tightly against her and inhaling her fragrance.

"I missed you, so I came. Don't you miss me?"

The deep, resonant voice made Ning Qiluo's ears go weak.

She buried her face in his chest; even though it had only been three days, it felt like three months.

"Yes," she said, secretly amused.

Jiang Yingchi cupped her face in his hands and lifted it up: "Did you miss me?"

Her eyes crinkled into a smile, revealing a row of pearly white teeth: "Yes, I miss you."

People passing by on the street would glance at the two of them.

The main reason is that the two of them are just too good-looking.

However, Ning Qiluo wasn't afraid of being recognized at the moment. Anyway, she didn't hide anything anymore. If she was photographed, so be it. She was happy to be photographed. As for some things, she didn't need to worry too much.

The more you worry about it, the more uncomfortable you become.

"How long will you be staying this time?" she asked him.

"You're kicking me out?" He took her hand and walked along the street.

Ning Qiluo wanted to eat oden, but she didn't want him to be without her hand, so she resisted the urge to eat a bite of oden. "No way! Last time in Baishan, you stayed until we came back together. Will you wait until we come back together this time too?"

“I do have that plan,” he said.

"In that case, you might have to stay a few more days, because I need to stay at home for a few more days after I finish recording the show. After all, I haven't been home for a long time, and my parents say I'm an unfilial daughter."

She was serious.

Jiang Yingchi knew.

The two strolled along the streets of another country, Ning Qiluo enjoying the moment. "It's perfect that you're here, I thought..."

He glanced at her sideways.

Ning Qiluo met his deep eyes, "I want to take you to meet my parents formally, the formal kind."

She wanted to see what his expression would be.

But his expression remained calm and expressionless.

Guessing that he might not be ready, Ning Qiluo didn't want to put him in a difficult position, so she quickly said, "Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future."

"Aro".

He suddenly called out to her.

Ning Qiluo responded, "What's wrong?"

They both stopped in their tracks. He turned her to face him and asked, "You called me while you were recording the show today. Can I take that as an assumption that you're planning to go public with our relationship?"

Ning Qiluo: "..."

He didn't know?

How could he not notice her obvious actions today?

I'm so annoyed.

She puffed out her cheeks: "Did I express myself wrong...?"

Jiang Yingchi was taken aback at first, then suddenly smiled: "A Luo, you have really given me a lot of surprises."

Ning Qiluo chuckled, then heard Jiang Yingchi say, "Why not, let's have another surprise."

Ning Qiluo asked, "What?"

Jiang Yingchi didn't say anything, but instead asked, "Are you really going to take me to formally meet your parents?"

"Of course, a promise is a promise." This was Ning Qiluo's firm stance.

“Didn’t I already meet your father in Beicheng?” he said slowly.

"Oh!" Ning Qiluo said, "That wasn't formal. It was just that my dad came to Beicheng to see me and happened to run into you. It's only formal when you come to Beicheng to see my parents."

Jiang Yingchi: "Really?"

Ning Qiluo: "I'm serious."

Jiang Yingchi: "So you've regained your memories."

Ning Qiluo: "Of course..." The words were on the tip of her tongue, but she hesitated for a moment, "Of course not."

"Who are you trying to fool?" He lowered his head slightly, his gaze fixed on her.
