She didn't receive Jiang Yingchi's call!

As Ning Qiluo gazed at the buildings and trees rushing past the window, the panic in her heart gradually subsided.

But at that moment, a loud bang was heard.

'Bang-'

Due to the momentum of the impact, Ning Qiluo's body suddenly lurched forward. Fortunately, the seatbelt held her firmly in place, and she was pulled back. She felt as if she had been violently jolted, and her vision went black for a moment.

"Young Master Qi, there's been a rear-end collision," the driver next to him said hurriedly after recovering.

Qi Siyi wasn't greatly affected. The car suddenly rushed towards him without any sign of following, so he wasn't prepared and his car was suddenly hit.

He coldly curled his lips: "You fearless fool, daring to be so arrogant on my turf."

Looking in the rearview mirror, Qi Siyi saw that his sister's face was pale and reassured her, "Don't be afraid, sit still."

Ning Qiluo's face was pale, and she gripped the seat belt in front of her tightly.

Qi Siyi stepped on the gas, and the car's speed increased rapidly.

The car was left behind.

Just then, Ning Qiluo's phone rang.

The bell rang from inside her bag, and she frantically tried to open it. What should have been a simple press of a button took her quite a while to open.

The ringing has stopped.

She took out her phone to see who was calling her when the screen suddenly lit up again, displaying three words: Jiang Yingchi.

It's Jiang Yingchi!

It was him who called!

Ning Qiluo was about to answer the call when the driver's voice came from the front: "Young Master Qi, it's coming from the left."

As soon as the driver finished speaking, Qi Siyi's voice was heard: "Luo Luo, hold on tight."

Upon hearing the sound, Ning Qiluo only had time to grab the handle, but before she could even steady herself, the car suddenly veered sharply to one side. Ning Qiluo couldn't hold on to the handle and fell to the side where the car was tilting. The seatbelt tightened painfully around her, bringing tears to her eyes.

The phone slipped from my hand and I don't know where it fell.

Once the car was back on the right track, Ning Qiluo felt a sharp pain in her neck. She raised her hand to touch it, and it hurt even more.

The safety device strangled her neck, but she didn't utter a sound; at this crucial moment, she couldn't let it affect her second brother's driving.

"Are you alright?" came Qi Siyi's worried voice from ahead.

Ning Qiluo brushed her hair aside to cover her neck and said, "I'm fine."

Qi Siyi breathed a sigh of relief. "Hold on to the handle, hold on tight. The car came too fast. It's better to prepare in advance than to prepare at the last minute."

"Okay," she replied.

Still shaken from the earlier ordeal, even with her strong mental fortitude, she couldn't withstand such a series of frights. The car sped up again, and Ning Qiluo quickly looked down for her phone, finding it under the rightmost seat.

She wanted to pick up her phone, so she unbuckled her seatbelt.

Having finally gotten her phone back, she immediately fastened her seatbelt, but—

At that moment, Ning Qiluo deflated like a punctured balloon for a long while.

The phone is already switched off.

She should have thought of that sooner.

Biting her lip, she swallowed back her sobs, steadied herself, and immediately restarted the computer.

The screen lit up.

The driver's voice came through his ear: "Young Master Qi, watch out for the car merging from the right."

Qi Siyi slowed down and made a sharp turn into another lane. The driver's voice came again: "Young Master Qi, there are more and more cars. It seems like we are surrounded."

"Young Master Qi, the car on the right has merged into the lane."
