After she became pregnant, she didn't gain much weight, but she looked plump and radiant. Her skin got better and better as the pregnancy progressed, becoming as white as a peeled egg, smooth and delicate.
Tonight she wore formal makeup, a long-sleeved velvet dress with a Peter Pan collar, and her hair was styled simply, half of it pinned up at the back of her head. Her necklace, ring, and dress complemented each other perfectly.
"Qi Luo, here's your entry process: there's a 50-meter red carpet, followed by an autograph wall. After you sign your name, walk a few steps forward to the exclusive photo wall for tonight's celebrities. All the photographers are waiting in one spot to take pictures. It'll be about half a minute. I'll meet you on the other side and wait for you to enter the studio."
Xie Ya recounted the entire process in great detail.
Ning Qiluo nodded: "I've got it. Shall we get out of the car now and walk on the red carpet?"
Xie Ya reminded her, "Mr. Jiang hasn't arrived yet. He specifically told me that you can't enter before he arrives."
Ning Qiluo pulled her feet back: "Oh, I understand."
Although she didn't want to get off the bus, she wondered why Jiang Yingchi hadn't come yet.
She was worried that Jiang Yingchi was just trying to fool her, that he simply didn't want her to attend the awards ceremony and was afraid she would get jostled by the crowd. Looking out from here, although there were quite a few people outside, she shouldn't be able to bump into or knock over anyone.
Despite having a lot of thoughts, Ning Qiluo obediently stayed in the car and waited for Jiang Yingchi.
About ten minutes later, Jiang Yingchi finally arrived.
Ning Qiluo threw off her expensive shawl, lifted her skirt, and hurriedly got out of the car. Jiang Yingchi saw this, stepped forward, picked up the shawl, and put it back on her shoulders, wrapping it around her. He frowned and said, "Did you forget what you promised me before you came?"
Ning Qiluo acted coquettishly in front of him: "I haven't forgotten, I remember."
No matter how serious Jiang Yingchi was, he could compromise his attitude as long as Ning Qiluo acted coquettishly. He wrapped her up tightly with the shawl: "Take it off when we get into the studio. It's cold outside now."
Ning Qiluo readily agreed, but she became unruly once she stepped onto the red carpet.

He thought Jiang Yingchi would loosen his grip, but he pulled her even tighter. He also coaxed her, "Take off your shawl when we get into the studio. It's 18 degrees outside. If you get cold, you'll suffer after the awards ceremony."
His words were somewhat coaxing.
It also carries a subtle, threatening reminder.
Ning Qiluo knew she couldn't persuade him otherwise, so she obediently listened to him and took his hand to wrap her shawl around her shoulders: "Okay, I'll listen to you. If you say east, I definitely won't go west."
Jiang Yingchi: "..."
The photographers' lenses were snapping away frantically in this direction. The media is best at finding surprises, and when they saw Ning Qiluo appear wrapped in a shawl with a man by her side, they practically flew all their lenses over to her face to take pictures.
After walking down the red carpet, they arrived at the signature wall. Jiang Yingchi went to the other end to wait for her, as Ning Qiluo needed to sign her name on the signature wall with a marker.
The hostess brought over a large pen and handed it to Ning Qiluo.
