Something happened

Ning Qiluo died in a sorry state.

She was covered in ice crystals and a mixture of dirt, looking filthy, and her left sleeve was soaked. She was shivering from the cold, and Xiang Bei beside her wasn't much better off, freezing like a dog without a down jacket.

Xiang Bei helped her up, and the two of them walked forward, their steps uneven.

Recalling the harrowing experience, the two were truly blessed with good fortune, having narrowly escaped death.

She and Gu Qi slipped and fell, separated by the falling snow, both of them buried under it. She knew she had been unconscious for a few minutes, during which time her mind was a complete mess.

When she regained consciousness, she slowly got up and looked around, only to find that she was all alone.

Gu Qi, Bao'er, and Xiang Bei were all nowhere to be found, and she herself was completely disoriented. Then she remembered her phone, and frantically searched her pockets, but it was gone.

Her down jacket pockets had no zippers or snaps, and her phone and everything else in the pockets were lost in the accident.

With snow everywhere under her feet, how could she find it?

The endless expanse of white stretched out before her. She was panting heavily, feeling a sense of despair. She couldn't stay in one place for too long, so she wandered aimlessly in one direction.

I thought to myself that this mountain is not that big, and as long as nothing unexpected happens, I can get out of it.

fine.

As she walked, her foot slipped, and she rolled into the snow and went a long way down the mountain.

Ning Qiluo was unaware that she had rolled halfway up the mountain.

The pine trees on the mountainside are dense, and the snow falling from any one of them could bury a person.

She was in a terrible state, but thankfully she didn't faint this time. She got up and continued walking, and she had a general sense of direction. She was still thinking about that roll she had just made. It was a good thing that she rolled, which saved her time walking down the mountain.

She was also secretly glad that she hadn't run into a rock or a tree stump, otherwise she wouldn't have been so lucky.

I walked for about a few minutes, my footing uneven.

She thought she heard someone shouting something, but she wasn't sure if it was just her imagination. Her first reaction was to respond, but the response was barely noticeable; it seemed like they couldn't hear her.

She could only continue walking in the direction of the sound.

The snow has started falling again.

It's so cold.

I wonder if Gu Qi and Bao'er have found their way back. May Buddha protect them and keep them safe.

As she got closer, the voice seemed to grow fainter and fainter. Ning Qiluo didn't believe it was just her imagination, so she quickened her pace and followed the direction of the sound.

It was an abandoned hunting pit.

Xiang Bei was like prey caught in a trap, lying on his back with his head hanging in the air, whimpering as if his voice had gone hoarse. You could tell he was desperate.

Ning Qiluo squatted down at the edge of the pit and said irritably, "How did you fall into this pit?"

Can you imagine it?

Heading north in near despair.

Suddenly I heard human voices.

How unbelievable it was at that moment.

What kind of excitement follows disbelief?!

Even though he was too exhausted to shout earlier, he was able to stand up quickly by supporting himself on the ground.

Looking up, he swore it was the happiest moment of the entire year.

"Ugh, don't even mention it, what bad luck! I'm going to find someone to help rescue you."
