Will my lower back feel uncomfortable?

Edith and Jones have great respect for Ning Qiluo.

He immediately hid his smile and pretended he hadn't heard anything.

Ning Qiluo then asked Jiang Yingchi, "You sat all night last night, is your back uncomfortable?"

Jiang Yingchi lowered her eyes: "No."

He picked up the glass of milk, took a small sip, and said calmly, "My back is fine."

"That's amazing! You can sit there all night and your legs won't ache!" Ning Qiluo didn't realize that the topic itself was off from the start because of the homophones.

Jones and Edith stood on either side of Ning Qiluo.

The two pushed the milk and eggs in front of Ning Qiluo.

Jones smiled and said, "Ms. Ning, you must have had a hard night. Here is today's serving of fresh milk, CREMAD'OR. Drink some more to replenish your energy."

Edith said, "Ms. Ning, you're exhausted. Eat some eggs to replenish your energy. Your work won't finish until 8 p.m. today."

Ning Qiluo nodded subconsciously.

It took her a few seconds to realize what was happening, and she looked up at Jones with a puzzled expression, asking, "I had a hard time last night? How did I have a hard time last night?"

And what about her physical exertion?

Does sleeping also consume energy?

Jones and Edith exchanged a glance, both suppressing their laughter.

Not hearing a reply from either of them, Ning Qiluo chewed on her sandwich and mumbled to Jiang Yingchi, "Did you understand what they were saying?"

Jiang Yingchi had only asked casually when he was caught off guard and met his deep brown eyes.

Ning Qiluo frowned and blinked: "You don't know either?"

Jiang Yingchi reminded her, "A Luo, there are homophones for 'sit,' so you need to express yourself clearly."

Ning Qiluo hadn't understood anything before, but now Jiang Yingchi's words had completely cleared up her confusion.

She calmly put down the sandwich, saying, "I'm full."

He was about to get up.

Jiang Yingchi took her hand and slowly stood up: "I have things to do at the company. If I come tonight, I will let you know in advance. Be good, finish your breakfast."

Ning Qilu frowned: "You're leaving already? You haven't even had breakfast yet..."

Jiang Yingchi, who was about to leave, suddenly turned around when he remembered that there was something very important he hadn't done yet. He put one arm around Ning Qiluo's waist and said, "Tell me, you'll miss me."

Jones and Edith wisely turned their backs to the scene.

Ning Qiluo looked up and met his eyes.

I'm conflicted.

Thinking about how he sat in that chair all night...

He hesitated for a moment before speaking: "I miss you."

Jiang Yingchi asked her, "Who misses me?"

Ning Qiluo held her breath and said, "...I miss you."

"I miss you too." He smiled gently, like the wind. "See you later, Aro."

Then, he grabbed his coat and laptop and left.

Ning Qiluo took a deep breath and sat down again: "Is this what dating is like?"

But she didn't agree to date him.

He just drank some milk, is that enough to fill him up?

"He must have left first because he didn't want me to feel awkward. I wonder if he'll eat something else on his way to the company," Ning Qiluo said sullenly.

Jones and Edith waited until Jiang Yingchi left before turning around.

Jones smiled and said, "Miss Ning feels sorry for Mr. Jiang."

Ning Qiluo did not refute, but said, "There is a little bit, because he sat all night last night... ah no, I mean, he sat in the chair all night last night."

Jones and Edith exchanged a glance and chuckled to themselves.

I spent the whole night sitting on that chair; that must have been really difficult.

Jones said, "Actually, Miss Ning doesn't need to explain. We know she's young."

Edith said, "Yes, most young people these days have great energy and stamina, we know that."

Ning Qiluo: "..."

Homophones... I've been misunderstood again...
