Huaihe River Divine Coin
During the Jianyan period, Zhang San from Huainan made a living by fishing.
That day, as we were sailing down the river, we saw a fish leaping from the water onto our boat.
Fishing is very happy,
This fish is red, nine inches long, and its mouth cannot close.
There is a foreign object inside, which is a coin.
Take it and look at it, it is as bright as silver,
On one side, there is a strange image, with "People's Bank of China Yuan" written on it.
On one side, there is a lifelike carved chrysanthemum.
The fisherman was very happy and boasted about it to everyone he met.
As time went by, the matter was reported to the county, and the county lord sent someone to take it.
He was greatly shocked and exclaimed, "This is not something from this mortal world!"
The tribute was sent to the capital, but its whereabouts disappeared.
Some say it is lost.
Some said that the king in the capital was corrupt and his whereabouts were unknown afterwards.
At the end of the Song Dynasty, there was a rebellion in Nanhuai. Someone called himself "Shangbixian" and used the flag of "Yuan" to start a rebellion.

Translation of "Huaihe Divine Coin":
During the Jianyan period of the Song Dynasty, there was a man named Zhang San in Huainan who made a living by fishing in the Huai River.
One day, while sailing south along the river, Zhang San saw a fish leap out of the water and land on the boat. He was overjoyed.
When I went closer to take a look, I found that the fish was red all over and about nine inches long, but its mouth could not close.
It turned out that there was a silver coin in the fish's mouth.
There is a strange symbol on one side of the silver coin, and it says "People's Bank of China Yuan".
On the other side, there are lifelike carvings of chrysanthemums.
The fisherman was very happy, so he took the silver coin home and boasted about the magic of the silver coin to everyone he met.
After a long time, this matter reached the ears of the county magistrate.
The county magistrate sent someone to ask for the coin. He was extremely surprised and exclaimed, "This silver coin is not from this world!"
Later, this coin became a tribute and was sent to the capital, where it disappeared.
Some said it was lost, others said it was embezzled by a prince in the capital, and its whereabouts have been unknown since then.
At the end of the Song Dynasty, someone in Huainan called himself "the immortal of currency" and named himself "Yuan". He raised the flag of rebellion. I wonder what this has to do with the magic currency.
Zhang Sheng
In the 17th year of Song Jianyan, there was a man named Zhang in Jimo. When he woke up from his illness, he asked what time it was.
The wife said: "Today is the 17th year of Jianyan."
Zhang Sheng asked, "Who is the emperor? What is this?"
The wife was shocked, and when she saw that there was no one around, she said, "How can you speak so directly about the official's name!"
Zhang Sheng asked again: "Where are the Jin people going?"
His wife laughed and said, "Seven years ago, the country was destroyed and the race was extinct, and it was called the Qing Dynasty."
Zhang was suspicious and asked several questions, then he was overjoyed.
He said to his wife, "The official is from my hometown. He will be successful!"
He took his wife to Beijing and said that he and his fellow villagers had copied the writings of Emperor Taizu and that their contribution was just that, and that he could also conquer the world.
Later he met a thief and finished.
Throughout history, has there only been one clown?

Translation of Zhang Sheng:
In the 17th year of Jianyan in the Song Dynasty, there was a scholar named Zhang in Jimo. After waking up from a serious illness, he asked his wife what time it was.
The wife replied: "It is now the seventeenth year of Jianyan."
Zhang Shusheng asked again in confusion, "Who is the emperor? Zhao Gou?"
The wife was startled.
No one around said, "How can you say the official's name directly!"
Zhang Sheng asked again, "Where did the Jin people go?"
The wife smiled and said, "Seven years ago, the country was destroyed and the race was extinct. It is now called the Qing Dynasty."
Zhang Sheng was puzzled and inquired about many past events, and was ecstatic.
He said to his wife, "The Guan family is my fellow villager, and we are going to be prosperous."
So he took his family to Yanjing, and on the way he said that he was from the same hometown as the official family, and slandered Song Shizu, saying that his literary talent was just plagiarism and his achievements were mediocre, and that he could also conquer the world.
Later, he encountered bandits on the road and died.
Throughout history, there have been many clowns, many of whom are just like him.
Raccoon in the Well
There is a temple in Bozhou, Huainan, named "Mingdao Palace".
There is a well in the courtyard, named "Nine Dragon Well". Emperor Shizu of Song Dynasty fell into the well and obtained three volumes of military tactics bestowed by Daozu.
In the first year of Jianyan, a raccoon was seen in a well. It looked like a human, sometimes majestic and sometimes sad.
The people around him were surprised and reported it to the duty commander Yang Yi Zhong. Yang was horrified and ordered his men to shoot arrows.
When the raccoon died, the words "朕乃作" were written on it, but the raccoon's body disappeared without a trace.
During the Hongwu period, a man named Yang passed by and stayed at the Mingdao Palace.
I dreamed of a man in a red robe scolding
"I am the one who schemed! The thief Yang deceived me! Come and accept my order!"
Yang woke up, but dared not sleep, and fled at dawn the next day.

Translation of "The Raccoon in the Well":
There is a temple in Bozhou, Huainan, named Mingdao Palace.
There is a well in the yard, named "Nine Dragon Well". Emperor Shizu of Song Dynasty fell into the well and dreamed that Daozu taught him three volumes of military strategy.
In the first year of Jianyan, a civet cat appeared in the well. It looked very much like a human, sometimes majestic and sometimes sad.
The guards on the left and right felt very strange and reported it to the commander-in-chief Yang Yi Zhong. Yang Yi Zhong was shocked and ordered the men to be shot to death with arrows.
Before its death, the raccoon cat wrote "I am Zhao Gou" in the well and then its body disappeared.
During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, a scholar named Yang passed by and stayed overnight at Mingdao Palace.
I dreamed of a red-robed man roaring at night.
"I am Zhao Gou, and Yang Yi Zhong has harmed me! Give me back my life!"
Scholar Yang woke up in shock and didn't dare to sleep anymore. He fled from Mingdao Palace early the next morning.
Three Zhaos
During the Wanli period, there was a man named Yuan Zongdao in Huguang who served as a Yuanwailang.
When Yuan was young, he admired poetry and novels and often said to others
"The literary spirit in the world is unmatched by the Three Caos, the Three Su's, and the Three Zhaos. I want to hold a banquet to entertain these talented men of ancient times."
It's night.
When Yuan heard the noise in the courtyard, he ordered his servant to look, but after he called several times there was no response, so he angrily put on his clothes and went to the courtyard to look.
See the banquet in the courtyard, wine and food are all prepared.
